Nice little store. Very friendly and helpful staff. They are priced comparable to the local Brookshire's and carry a few niche items that Brookshire's does not. I'll be back! Highly recommended!

I really enjoy going to David's SuperMarket because the stall is always friendly, willing to help you what you cannot seem to find. And I like David's prices. I really like his meat and fresh veggies he has laid out. Always fresh. Before my husband passed away we lived in Alvarado Texas..76009 And it was always a toss up between shopping at David's SuperMarket or shopping at Brookshires there in Alvarado Texas. So l did what a sensible shopper should do.. Since I enjoyed both stores l make to list of groceries and I would tell my husband to put the names on both PCs of paper ..him to have a pair of scissors and write David's name on one and. Brookshires on the other, and that was fair enough to me so that's how we did our shopping twice a month. And there was no cheating aloud.Thank you for your. Blessed time.Fair was only fair.. It's been awhile since my last visit. It is really outdated and not much more than a big convenience store. Most items were double in cost compared to a stores like HEB. BUT, they were pretty busy!

It's a nice country grocery, beautiful produce section, some locally sourced. Due to the lake traffic well stocked items geared to outdoor eating/cooking/serving/storage. Good selection and variety in the aisles I visited. The staff I saw were masked, relaxed, friendly and very efficient. Clean and easy to shop on a Monday morning. I still mask inside despite vaccination, aggressive variants are scary and the people who spread them.

I like going there instead of walmart or especially brookshires. Its calm and chill and has everything you need.I never feel stressed or rushed in there and reminds me of the old country grocery days!!!

Prices are high. Store is clean. They updated their produce section and it looks great! The staff is friendly. The cash register set up is a bit weird. It is confusing on which side to go on. I've never had to wait in line long and someone always offers to help you load your groceries in the car.

Old school grocery. Makes e think of shopping with my Momma in the 90s. Have awesome prices and fresh produce and meats that make a grill hungry. Sweet staff and great selections i.n every department. Thanks y'all !!

It was good . Things are easy to find. People were very helpfulThe only problem was we brought up a box of Kleenex. They didn't have a price and he forgot about them. So we didn't have our Kleenex.

Usually it's great going to David's for our groceries the manager is always in a great mood. But this afternoon when we went some of their new staff was really rude and short with us. Won't be shopping here much anymore...

expensive!! Expect to pay 2$ more for just about everything. 2$ fir BarS bologna that's 1$ EVERYWHERE else. Their sale prices are only resonable prices in store, produce is iffy ..... I DO like they had frozen LOCAL green beans, squash, and ocra.

A very hometown for you slow pace it wasn't busy while I went through there so I was in and out of there relatively quick as far as I could tell it was pretty average I didn't have judging it on my mind when I went there sorry.I gave it another star because the place grows on you.

I'm the 3rd person that I know thats bought meat products from here and literally all spoiled by the next day or straight out of the freezer just tried cooking pork chops today and they're green and smell horrible. Don't know whats going on but they're not selling good meat no way the dates are correct stop trying to push dates! Throw it away if its bad!

First time there. Only place I have seen with jumbo eggs. It was clean...not perfect but much better than I thought it would be. Staff helpful and friendly. I would go back

Produce always disappoints me they put the avacados in the refrigerated section so it's hard to tell if they are bad or not until you get home and cut it open. None of the vegetables or fruit ever look fresh.

Ridiculous prices. Will they ask for your identification for beer or wine and tell you they only accept Texas and Louisiana ID for your purchase, 'company policy?' Not worth it. Shut it down.
