Terrible store, expensive prices, never have anything i need. Last three times i went left sooooo frustrated nothing is labeled nothing is marked and everything is so hard to find cant see how they are still in business as nice as the staff is they also have no idea whats going on and make terrible sugguestions.

Good friendly and knowledgeable service, good selection and great prices have been a customer for many years, probably since they oppend the old store. Very fortunate to have Roquemore's in Whitehouse! These are our Local friends and neighbors! Shop local and Benefit more than at the Big Box stores where your money just goes out of town. I don't know why it shows 3 $ signs up there because their prices are very good!

02-02-2022 like a dummy I keep coming back for the ‘convenience’. Still the worst customer service you’ll find in the state of Texas. A negative 5 for me.Terrible customer service. Extremely unprofessional, rude and inept employees. When you add the terrible customer service to the extremely overpriced inventory, you have Roquemore’s. A ‘1 and done for me’.

Went in a couple weeks ago looking for a Stihl trimmer.I was helped by Sarah ( I think she’s the manager).I originally was looking at gas powered equipment but she showed me the advantages of their battery powered unit.Amazing quality and versatility.I’m really pleased at the product and the great customer service (very knowledgeable and friendly) that Roquemore provided.This place is really a jewel and the folks that work there are great.I’ll definitely be shopping there more often .

This store has some of the best employees I've ever been helped by, they are extra attentive and very helpful! highly recommend to go there for anything you need. the manager Sarah is by far the most knowledgeable, she knows the store like the back of her hand.

If I could choose no stars that would be appropriate! The communication and customer service is very sad! We came here for the convenience and the fact that they sold Stihl products! We were not charged the time before to look at a product sold by them and then the second time bringing it in BOOM a service charge!! Mind you we were NOT told that there would be a charge this time! I get that they performed a service BUT we should have been told that they were going to charge!NEVER, EVER will they receive our business and will tell others of this experience!!

Let me start by saying that I’ve been a loyal customer here for 5+years and have always tried to use roquemores when possible. I don’t mind the higher price point because the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Over the last six months, I’ve seen a gradual decline in service and this is no longer the store I used to love. Lots of new employees that have no clue how to help you find parts or follow through with what they say they are going to do. If you call to check availability on something, you are literally left on hold and forgotten about. If you call to speak with someone in parts and service, they typically take a message and then no one ever calls you back. God forbid you need any sort of parts to repair your stihl equipment after 5:00 or on the weekends. The employees defer everything to the ONE parts guy that works in service. They can’t even get you a filter or fluids because they don’t know where to find them or how to manage their inventory. I hate leaving such a low review on a local business but this is the 3rd time I’ve called them and still haven’t heard anything. If you go into the store and share your experience you’re met with excuses from the “manager” and there is no accountability from their staff. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Came in today in a bind. I work for the city and a piece of equipment was down due to sum oddball pvc pipefitting needing to be replaced. Called around places were closed or didn't have what we needed. Dominick answered the phone and I explained what I needed and said bring it and that's see if we can make it work. He and another coworker who I forget his name went to work. It took a few minutes but they made it work. Proud of them both for such young guys who have bright futures. Thank y'all sincerely Brian and southside wastewater plant.

We try to spend out money locally whenever possible. Out of four trips in the last 4 months, they've had what I needed every time. Employees are always helpful and friendly.

Great local hardware store; You don't need to go looking for lumber or vacuum cleaners, more tools, fittings, screws/bolts, hard to find items. Good selection of paint, etc. This is a hardware store through and through. Staff is very friendly and helpful in finding whatever you need if they have it.

I try to shop with them instead of the big box stores, but they make it dang near impossible. Have to fix some plumbing go to get PVC fittings, they only have half of what I need. Go to get some flex conduit and fittings, they have the flex but are out of the fittings. As much as I want to shop there, I guess I just need to pass right by them and go straight into town which is what I have to do half the time anyway. With the price of fuel now, it isn't cheap to make multiple stops.

This is the best hardware store in East Texas. It's just like a visit to the good ole days...back when employees were knowledgeable and attentive. They have what you need (good quality stuff) at a fair price. You never have to track someone down. They know what they have and if you halfway know what you need they will get you taken care of quickly. It's rare that they don't have what I need. They have a fantastic selection of brand name: yeti, DeWalt, Stihl and case (knives). If you ever need a weird bolt or screw they almost always have it and will walk you right where it is and hand you what you need. They really do have everything from plumbing and electrical to power tools. Even if Roquemore's is not real close to you, it's so much faster than going to a big hardware store. I highly recommend them.

Your greeted when you come in and that’s where their service stops. Went in to get a lawn mower blade. They don’t have them where you can just go get the one you need instead you have to go to the desk in the back of the store. They inquired about size of blade, it’s 21”. Then is it 4, 5, 6, Star. I said I had it in my truck. Went back got old blade returned to the desk. Employees not at desk, they’re in the back laughing and joking. There were no other customers around. Stood there and waited on someone to assist me. Nobody approached counter but knew I’d be right back. As I’m walking out of the store, then they try to assist. To late, not only did they loose a sale but they lost a customer.

Approx. 1-1/2 years ago I bought a eX mark V-Twin 708 lawn mower from Roquemore's . The mower has been exceptional so far. After so many hours I was told to service mower. So I called to set up appointment and have them to pick up the mower. After several days from not hearing from them I decided I could change out the oil filter etc. Fast forward to today. Several weeks ago I called roquemore's AGAIN and ask first of all if they could pick-up my mower since I have no way to load or unload the mower. I was told they could but it would be better if I came by store and set up the appointment. So I did. This time however, I needed to change the blades and have a full service on mower. Again I asked if they could pick-up my mower. I was told there would be a 30 dollar pick-up charge. I agreed and was told I would be contacted when they could pick my mower up. A week past by without hearing from Roquemore's. So I called again. The guy at the desk seemed distracted and said he would check to see if the mower was ready. I had to tell him 2 different times that the mower was not there and that they needed to pick-up the mower. Again, I was told the woman in charge would call. Going on three weeks now I called again this morning approx. 0830 hrs. Again, I explained to him that I never heard from her. Again I was told that he would check to see if mower was ready! Once again I explained to him the mower was not there that they needed to pick-up the mower. I was told that she would be back in office in 30 min. and would call me. It's 3-1/2 hrs later and once again I haven't heard a word. It greatly disappoints me that I spend a lot of money on a product that they sell but they cant service my mower. I have bought 2 stihl chain saws, weed-eaters and numerous other items from them. I want to support local businesses but when they refuse to call or simply don't care I have no other choice but to take my business elsewhere. I have been patience and not rude. All I wanted was for them to service what they sell but apparently this is to much to ask of them. At least give me a call and either let me know that they cant pick-up the mower or I need to make other arrangements to have to mower delivered to them!

I’ve been going to roquemores for stihl products and other hardware needs since before they were at the new location. Great service when Larry was running it but now is run by a bunch of kids that are disrespectful to there customers. Left a chainsaw for service and didn’t get a call back for 2 months just to find out they couldn’t fix it. Recently left a zero turn that I had bought from roquemores to be serviced, they originally told me one week then every time I called to check in on it it was pushed back. Two and a half weeks later they still haven’t even started so I picked up the mower. They left it out in the weather for 2 weeks and now it has more problems than I origally dropped it off to be serviced for. When I asked about the problems I got a smart a** answer. Long story short the customer service is terrible and will leave you feeling very frustrated. I’ll no longer be doing any business here.

They are very friendly and helpful folks. I'm always tinkering with my motorcycle or something, and their fasteners department is better than anyone around. They have standard and metric, stainless, chrome, galvanized, brass, nylon... A little bit of everything, all neatly arranged and labeled. I'm always pleased to find that they have the little screws or widgets that I'm looking for. They have items you won't find at one of the big boxes, and their prices are competitive, too. Save yourself from Tyler's traffic jam and check these guys out!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff (especially Adam), nice clean store layout and selection. Have purchased many items from them over last 7 months since moving to the area--very convenient to the Whitehouse and southern Tyler areas. Bought a Stihl Farm Boss chainsaw from here--this workhorse leaves my still "new" but already worn out Husqvarna is the dust. They offer a good military discount, too.

The guys in the back at the desk need the customer service seminar. Second straight time I went there and nobody even looked up from what they were doing to ask what I needed. Yesterday, the guy FINALLY looked up and saw me, but treated me like he was in a hurry to get home, and I was a bother. If it weren't for the nice young man up front who came to my rescue when I was stumbling along on my own 15 minutes later. This would be a ONE. It's a shame because in the past, when they were smaller, they had helpful people. This last guy was plain rude.

I was greeted when I walked in the door but as I went to the back of the store looking at stile equipment I was left standing just over 30 minutes and no one asked if I needed help. So I asked and after 5 minutes of standing there again I ended up leaving.

As a two cycle tech for 35+ years..the complaint about the ms271 is bogus..I don't work here, never have, and never will. I work for myself, I have worked all over the county in almost every shop , I do know, and have worked with the guy running the shop. You won't find a more honest, or better tech in the county...the choke broke because it popped out and the guy forced it back. The saw lost compression due to one of several reasons..incorrect fuel mix, cheap high ash two cycle oil, ethanol causing the diapraghms to stretch and not pumping enough fuel, not shaking your can up every refill as fuel and ethanol will separate and you will poor straight ethanol in it causing metal to metal friction and scoring... Bad , old fuel will do it too..anything over a couple of weeks in Texas heat will cause a ton of issues as well( phase separation). The intake boot, carb to block gasket, crank seals, head gasket could have had an air leak causing it to lean out...BUT...the number one cause of 2 cycle malfunction is operator error...usually fuel. A little advice, if your chainsaw or line trimmer( weed eater is a brand) just all the sudden runs great... Shut it off...you have a lean situation that needs correcting before you fry that engine. Now, for those who complain of the high cost of repairs due to this... Why do you need someone else to fix it? Did you also know that small engine Tech's , the good ones, have about 3 months of yearly study just get updated in new stuff? If they were easy...you wouldn't have shops that specialise in it, nor would you have shade tree blogs of guys trying to figure simple stiff out had they been educated about it. You are paying for his Knowledge, not how "easy" it is. Anyway...
