If I could give no stars I would. Carol that works there was super rude to two different customers. One of the customers she was super sarcastic to and the guy was just trying to ask her a question on if they carried a certain product. We were checking out and she came over and stood watching us scan our items and then accused us of stealing dog food when it was clearly on the screen that it had been scanned. Very unprofessional. She really needs to be trained on customer service and how to handle people.

I typically don't complain about bad experiences, but DG in Whitehouse has horrible customer service. I came in to buy a handful of products that had coupons attached in the app, for whatever reason the self checkout wasn't taking my coupons, the clerk and the manager offered to re-ring me, and when it still didn't work (even though all my products were accurate for the coupons(, the manager just gave up and walked away to help someone else! I also lost me 7.00 credit that the manager said she would honor. Had to leave the store without the items I really needed.

When you have a specific sale you should honor it!!! Don’t tell me you can’t change the price in system. Do not gave posted on all cooler doors if it isn’t a TRUE SALE/PROMOTION!!! Then charge me an extra $8.50 and say I got to take that sign down!!! No don’t promote if you aren’t going to honor.

Only go here for must have, last minute items. Store is disorganized and cluttered most of the time. There is RARELY a time where there are enough cashiers and you don't have to wait forever to checkout. Typical corporate payroll minded business where saving money trumps excellent customer service. Staff is typically friendly.

So, I'm always at this location. Today I went there around 4pm. The store was busy. The young lady was checking people out. I walked around that store 4 times. Cause of the line of people standing in line. No one was backing her up, people hist steadily lining up,waiting to be checked out. As i was looking at the medication area. There was a young man there. he was helping one lady while I was looking at meds. Then seen him maken a phone call to cassie. Then after that went back to to checking in the merchandise. So I went walking down the aisles again. Finally got in line for 10 or so minutes. He finally starts helping the young lady checking pit people. The line was so long I was close to the cooler where the pizzas are. People still steady comen in. I felt bad for the young lady. He was barley. Backing her up.

It's much cleaner than other Dollar Generals I have been in and things are easy to find. Some really good prices compared to Brookshire's for the same name brand products. Specifically Jiff peanut butter and Rubber made Take Along.

Ok, let me be straight with you... This isn't the cleanest, it's not always the most helpful, but it is the most convenient place to shop in Whitehouse. I can't tell you how many times a week I have to stop by to pick up some last minute thing. They are open late and they are not expensive by any means. I also feel sorry for most the employees because they always seem to be under staff.

Constantly long lines. Worst is they lock up the store 10-15 minutes early every night. In a small town where there is no access to dairy or diapers.... it’s frustrating to say the least. Ownership should be aware as 50-100 is a typical amount they miss out on when zi have to go to WalMart 10 miles away.

Tooooooooo SLOW. The lines are ALWAYS backed up, especially now that the reserves at Hagan is across the street 🙄 I just waited 30 minutes in a line while 2 women bought the whole clearance rack.... there were 3 cashiers, 2 lanes open....... extremely frustrating. Can’t wait to move to a smaller town. Whitehouse is getting too populated at this point.

Every time I have been to any of the Dollar general store that I have been to, don't have enough checkers for the customer's so your standing in line for ever ,you can not just run in and out. They really need self checkout and more cashier's.

This store is always busy, seriously under staffed. The employees are friendly & there's plenty of merchandise stocked. The owner needs to be fair to the customers who wait in line & his over worked staff.

First not everything is $1 As the name would suggest. However, they still have some deals. Some stuff is actually more than other stores. But it is nice to have a store like this in our neighborhood.

One of the female employees was EXTREMELY rude to a customer in line in front of me one day. She proceeded to yell at her saying "your at the wrong register for gods sake". It was unprofessional and very embarrassing to the customer who was a senor citizen non the less. As you know the registers are no more than 4 _5 feet apart,in which a normal polite reworded comment should have been used.

Cashier Dani was so very polite and nice, I really enjoy going in Whitehouse Dollar General. I wish they would have kept her and gotten rid of the other lady.

For dgs this one isnt bad. Dollar genera 'll s are the neccesary evils. Save you from going to walmart. Its a gamble if youll get a good cashier
