We tried this place out, and we were fairly impressed. They are focusing on a full farm to table food path, so everything is really fresh and healthy. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was pleasing. Price might be a little on the high side for some, but the value seemed good. They have an outside eating area with provisions for live entertainment. Anxious to see how this place develops.

This might just be our new favorite restaurant in East Texas. It is very nice, the staff are sweet, and they even have an indoor aeroponics system for growing their own herbs and veggies. Very impressive.Everything we had was cooked perfectly and delicious. The steak sandwich is made with filet mignon, and it is the best steak sandwich I've ever had.  The baby bella mushrooms are ridiculously good as well. They have an impressive cocktail menu, and they even serve breakfast on the weekdays from 6:45am- 11am.This is the kind of place where you can tell every item will be great. They have their music/comedy lineup on their Instagram and Facebook page. 10 out of 10.

We had dinner here yesterday and it was wonderful. Our waitress was Taylor and she was so pleasant and nice. The recommendations she gave were spot on. From the appetizers to the main entrees this place is a homerun. The owner stopped by and said hello and was awesome. Thanks for a great meal and great service. Also Muscle made the experience so much better. Thanks again. Will 100% be back

My boy’s treated me tonight to supper and let me say i will be going back!! The burger bombs were out of this world. Salad was so fresh. 😁 Steak was cooked to perfection. Then we had the bread pudding. 😋😋😋. Restaurant extremely clean! Our waitress was Aria and she was so attentive and pleasant! Wonderful experience 😆😀. ***Highly recommended***

We live just a short distance and have been wanting to stop by. This is such a comfortable place to sit and eat. We went for dinner and had the burgers and they were AMAZING! Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. Our waitress Taylor was kind and attentive and everything came out quickly. I am so grateful we live so close so we can come back again soon. This meal was worth every penny and more!!

This is seriously the best steak in town! We are so excited to have a farm to table experience here in Tyler. We got the ribeye, grilled chicken and kids chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was so delicious and fresh. You definitely get what you pay for. If your looking for a nice date night or even just a good meal that feels like home, this is the place to go. Thank you Blackhawk Creek!!!!

Everything on their menu is made in house from their own aquaponics garden from every sauce to dressing. The flavors that come with pure ingredients can’t be found anywhere else locally unless you have your own garden, went to culinary school and take pride in what you do. We’ve been a few times now and have enjoyed every dish on the weekend menu with delight. Save room for the bread pudding, if there is any left over, because it is so worth the indulgence.

This place is family owned and operated. I stopped in for lunch and one of the owners was my waiter. He suggested the burger so I went with it. I didn't really have any expectations but let me tell you, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life. And I don't say that lightly. I can't wait to try the dinner/ weekend menu. I will go back. A lot. Very friendly people and amazing food. Can't recommend enough.

I happened to be here right at close with a friend. The staff was very friendly, helped me in my choices, and didn't even rush us out at all. We shut it down with the staff lolThis was my first time coming and the food was AMAZING, I have never had a steak as good as that for sure. I can't wait until the next visit. Soooo good!!!

If you're looking for some of the best food in East Texas, I highly reccomend this spot. Leann & her husband brought their homemade recipes & created a warm, welcoming dining experience. The wood fire grilled menu offers a nice variety missing from the East Texas dining scene.Located in Whitehouse(yes, that Whitehouse - Patrick Mahomes hometown) in an unassuming metal building, you would not expect this calibure of food.Shall I brag about a salad? YES! Leann's aquaphonics garden produces the freshest, crispy flavorful lettuce for her homemade ceasar dressing. Buttery, not over crunchy croutons & shaved parmesan cheese make this salad memorable. I just wish there was fresh cracked black pepper offered for it.I'm a burger snob, and the Wagyu patty cooked over an open flame mesquite grill was fantastic! The brioche bun was one of the best I've tasted & held up til the end. Sauteed onions, along with fresh lettuce & tomatoe, has this burger ranking in my top three of all time.My husband ordered the 8oz filet. It's been years since we've had a steak cooked over a wood grill & it delivered smokey flavor throughout. The beef is sourced from a local ranch & it makes a huge difference in quality.The signature cocktail menu offers a variety to fit anyones preference. I opted for the Pink Lady martini. I was concerned it would be too sweet, but it was more like a raspberry sweet-tart. My husband had the Pecan Pie burbon old fashioned & it was a nice twist on a classic.Choosing which homemade dessert was tough, but we opted for the bread pudding & it was warm, moist, flavorful & light.We can't wait for spring to return for a concert & to try other dishes!

I had the burger bowl. My friends had a cheeseburger. The greens were especially fresh. The burgers however were overcooked. I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked but going forward I'll be specifying it. Also had to chase the waitress down a couple of times. Overall it's a cool place. The aquaponics system is very cool and I can't wait to see how things expand going forward. We'll be back again soon.Dietary restrictions: Seems keto friendly. I'm on a carnivore diet so options without veggies would be welcomed. I can't wait to try their ribeye!

We stopped in seeing it was new and a Saturday evening being “steak night”.Our waitress mentioned the steak specials, no price given.Not impressed with the Wagyu 14 oz Ribeye at a price of $50.00. Asked for medium, it was medium rare, less than 1/2 thick cut, lots of fat. Green beans were sub par.The homemade dressing and steak sauce were very tasty.Listing it on Google as a $20-$30 price point is not accurate.Not impressed, won’t be back.My husband’s steaks he grills at home are pretty amazing with great cuts of meats at a fraction of the cost!

Was excited to try this new restaurant in Whitehouse. Service was very good. However, the food was the biggest issue. The country fried steak was very bland. The fries were cold on both meals. The burger was okay, if there wasn’t any sauce I don’t think I would’ve ate it. The char with the restaurant logo on the bun was a nice touch until char was all I could taste. Sad to say but I don’t think we will be returning.
