Went into zipps the other day and was left satisfied and with everything I needed. I was helped by the manager Stan, he was very helpful and positive and got me in and out. Would give 6 stars if possible

Stan at the register was so nice and super helpful. The prices of liquor isn’t too bad either. If you’re in the area I would for sure stop. I would stop again just for the customer service!

I'm so glad these people came to wharton. The other place has been gouging people for years. Now there's competition and you can find fair prices and a way better selection. Very nice store layout and friendly people.

Absolutely amazing place. Great selection of liquor, wine and beer. Fairly priced as well. I love that when you make a purchase you can spin a wheel to get free or discounted items. The staff is also wonderful. Highly recommended.

Pulled up and seen a sign put upside down stating “ be back in 15mins”. I can only imagine maybe it was break time or something. Anyways during my wait 4 cars showed up and seen the sign and left. I was the 5th person to leave. So I went to the other local liquor store and that had everything I wanted. I would say that on a Friday and Saturday u may need 2 workers to cover so u don’t have to worry about theft or what not. I would say on average a person will spend 20$. Me i was wanting 3 bottles of different flavors. 5 loss sales =140$ revenue loss that’s if each bottle was at 20$. The ones I was after are north of 40 to 60$ each. I would think the worker makes near 10 to 14 an hour and lost out on sales. I will close with the place is very nice and we’ll organized and the worker I’m referencing to is very helpful. Will I be back ? Absolutely. Just would recommend staffing changes.

I wanted to see if Zipps had enough selection to keep me from having to drive 35 miles to a Specs, so dropped in. Store is new, so not completely stocked yet, but I think when it IS fully stocked, it's going to be a gem. It's very clean and organized; that being said, it appears that the PTB checked the stock of local liquor stores and pretty much duplicated it, meaning about a zillion kinds of bourbon. I buy almost exclusively single malt Scotch (average selection), single malt or single pot Irish (not a great selection) and straight Rye (fair selection and they do have Whistle Pig), so while I did buy a bottle of each, I was slightly disappointed by the overabundance of pedestrian bourbons at the expense of legit whiskeys, such as The Whistler, Redbreast, Teeling or even Sexton Single Malt Irish, Bunnahabhain Islay, Laphroiag or maybe GlenDronach Single Malt Scotch and Cotton Hollow, Templeton. or Pikesville Rye. I understand that the bulk of the stock has to target the average buyer, but there is a fairly wide market that is missed when the entire focus is on mainstream average, with a couple bottles of $100 Scotch, seemingly added just for color.The customer service is beyond excellent; April and I had a discussion of what I would love to see and she made notes on those items. In further discussion, April suggested a whiskey that I might like, based on my tastes, so I bought a bottle and have to say that she was dead on target; wasn't an expensive bottle (maybe $35) but was exactly to my taste, so quite pleased with the purchase.They also have a nice selection of cordials and flavored vodkas, including a Deep Eddy that I had not previously seen and that is their lime. Poured a healthy amount into a rocks glass, added chilled ginger beer and had an instant Moscow Mule!Great store; I hope the people of Wharton will support them with patronage, even though Whartonians are not exactly famous for supporting local businesses. I'm going to be a regular customer.
