Absolutely phenomenal customer service!!! I could say this a million times & I still would not be stressing it enough..I did not encounter one single person who was in a bad mood, and I had about six people offer to carry out my 10 pound bag of stuff (which I clearly did not need help with).. But just the fact that they offered… Man!!This past weekend was my first time to ever go in there… All I can say is it only took one visit for me to become a loyal customer..Thank you guys for the great experience… I can’t believe I’m saying that to feed store.. LOL..

In May I purchased a beautiful blue and yellow pastel colored female parakeet for my son who had begun to take an interest in birds after nursing an injured dove back to health. After I got the first parakeet the next day I drove back to buy another so she would have a friend and ended up getting a little green male. The two birds instantly bonded and after a few weeks have begun to hop on my son and go all over the house with him. They love him as much as he loves them. We all have been having a blast with them. It is amazing how tame the birds were from the start when we brought them home.About 3 weeks ago I saw you had some cockatiels when I went to buy a few pounds of seed mix for the parakeets, and it was close to my sons birthday so I went back later that week and got a cockatiel for his birthday.I am always impressed with your employees and how helpful they always are when I make my weekly(sometimes more than once a week trip). When the first employee I had asked a question said he wasn't sure of the answer, he had no problem going to find the another employee whom he said knew more about birds. It seemed like they used it as a friendly educational moment between employees which is always good to see.I am pleased to report the cockatiel I brought home with me is doing well in his new home and already becoming very social. Even says "ahhh choo" and pretends to sneeze when we do.We live in Harlingen but I would much rather drive to Weslaco to shop at your store than anywhere closer anytime we need something for our birds and dogs. I have bought a few cages from your store, and found the prices ummatched anywhere, even online. We plan to buy another larger cage from you as soon as we get the cockatiel trained. I can say from what I experienced with the birds we have purchased at your store that they are healthy and are very tame. Whomever it is you get them from does raise them well. Your employees are always pleasant and always super helpful. I have zero complaints and only positive things to say.

This place has a great selection of food and feeds to choose from. Staff is super friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome to be there. Staff was knowledgeable about the products and animals they have. The wven have a large variety of animals to choose from. This should be a go-to place for sure if not, you're first stop if you are in this area

This store is super helpful and will load large bags for you. Super cute and funny greeters by the door. Sometimes they “catcall” you but luckily they are in a cage. Hahaha! (I meant Paco and his pal)

You can find your pet needs here at Weslaco's long time feed and pet store. They also have events of drive through service for animal vaccine's during certain times of the year. It's best to call and find out about the vaccination period for your pets.

Workers take your items to car very friendly. I love that they hire high school summer workers. Only thing I would recommend is put prices on bird feed bags.

I go here for horse feed. Service has always been good. 5 minutes. In and out. Friendly staff, willing to help. Some prices on products(for horses) are a bit more expensive, by a dollar or two, compared to Tandy's in Edinburg
