My water heater went out in our home. We called ahead and spoke to a nice women on the phone that stated they what we needed. My husband drove to store from Perrin. My husband couldn't find the size water heater so asked the "grumpy" older man in the plumbing dept to assist and was assisted but with attitude. My husband never complains but this man literally seemed put out and continued to give my husband wrong information. My husband needed to purchase a shut off valve for the purchased water heater the employee tried to sell my husband the wrong parts. Thankfully my husband always checks these things himself because we don't live 10 minutes from anywhere and of course they were wrong. My husband being tired of the employees attitude and trying to sell him wrong items, he went after purchasing the water heater at Sutherlands on over to Ace Hardware where he was treated with great service and correct parts. Please, please have someone speak to this gentleman about customer service because it's important. You have just lost a long time customer to now Ace Hardware. Thanks

Pretty good place, our small town Home Depot with a good selection of lumber, hardware, plumbing supplies, good electrical section and the lawn care section is really good. They carry the entire Stihl product line and have plenty of lawn treatment products.Only reason it's not 5 Star rating from me is because it is difficult to get help with lumber usually. This has become the place for lawnmowers.

They have quality stuff but a little pricey. The windchimes I bought were over $200. My wife loves them, she says they're too nice to put outside!

I'm a bit put out to be honest I was going to purchase a spray rig gun and hose but there was a titan rig priced at 199.99 so decided to purchase it instead but when I got to the counter it rang up for 329.99 so told the cashier it was marked 199.99 when we went to look they had it marked with the wrong tag which was for a Wagner. Anywhere else would have honored their mistake. But they definitely do not!!!

Im a paraplegic an always treated great ! The cashier's always got a great smile an very friendly! The helper always keep me from having to carry big loads they are wonderful! God bless

I would rather drive to Home Depot or Lowe’s then ever give you another dime if my money. Your customer service stinks beyond. We will never be back and tell all our friends to drive the 30 minutes to go elsewhere

I wonder why i bother going in there. When you can get help its great but even the cashier nicole is rude and cant seem to be bothered. The poor customer in front of me bought about 8 medium size pot plants and nicole couldnt bother herself with bagging them. Even the customer said something and her remark to him was there are trays outside you can use... And she gets paid for that kind of customer service.

This is a great addition to the Mineral Wells market. They carry a little bit of everything that those big box lumber stores carry. The employees are always helpful and courteous.

good store handy as we go and come from west TX often..but if you are a veteran or qualify for a discount be sure to say so up front..Cashier was very miffed that we did not see the sign before she started ringing us up. Other employees were helpful but some had on no badge or identifying shirt so shoppers know they work there.

Excellent. I had to return an item and purchase something else in exchange . They were very understanding and courteous in their dealings with me.They definitely have my business. And I am not a business man. Just a simple customer.

This store has great employees! The biggest problem here is the general manager. I’ve bought a lot here when I was remodeling in the area. I think corporate needs to get a new manager or do some serious training. I guess when you’re the only real supplier in town you can treat customers rudely!

I moved here from Hurst texas and thought small town business would be more friendly. Wow! I was much mistaken. Most of the workers who help in back.of Store are fine. But the younger cashiers are very unfriendly and unhelpful. I have in retail and as a medical asst.I know what helpfulness is and rudeness is. This place is very rude. I love just three miles guryjet to a home depot, so that and lowes will be my stores. I have spent a couple of thousand at Sutherland the last couple of months .This is 4 years later and they have improved alot. I now go in there and the people that work there are very helpful. And nice.

They had what I was looking for, including items that were on sale. One Hispanic gentleman(employee) particularly courteous and helpful. Cashier and others... not so much. Signage outside of the building was confusing(my first visit). Next door(left)was clearly Tractor Supply. Next door(right) was clearly a feed store. I think Sutherland's could take a few notes from the national home center chains' play books and become a gem.

When you buy redwood fence pickets make sure they are loading redwood. Twice they tried to load treated instead even though I showed them the recipe for redwood. Big difference in price.All in all good selection if you know what you are looking for.Checking for stock on line shopping for this store is non existent. Have to call or go buy for this store.

Came in for a couple things for the house. The two gentlemen who helped us were great. Then AJ was the cashier. She was rude to the guy in front of us and to us. Not friendly and acted put out to answer our question. If we go back I hope not to run in to AJ again. She was a mood changer and ruined our experience.

They had 1 of 2 items I needed. You cannot buy clevice clips here. Bummer. You have to buy the whole drain and stopper package. The older gentleman that helped me was like, you can't get clevice clips by themselves and then turned and walked away. Sorry to have bothered you and make you earn your minimum wage grandpa. So rude. I'm now in a Lowe's state of mind. I'll drive the extra 15 miles. At least they sell the clips without having to buy the entire kit and they are friendly and help you out (they do their job). I shouldn't be disappointed, it was Mineral Wells. What else would you expect? Nothing...absolutely nothing. I should feel privileged that he gave me the time of day....NOT!!! Retire sir. Do all of us a favor and keep your cranky old butt on the porch.

Outstanding!!!! Bob and another young man helped me with my order and not only did so with a smile on their faces they made sure that their policy of price matching was met to the letter. It is just refreshing to do business with a company and their associates and not have to worry about traveling a long distance to get that welcome feeling. To all of the people at Sutherlands, Mineral Wells, Tx., my hat is off to you and Thank you very much for your assistance. I am looking forward to doing more business with you guys in the near future.

Horrible experience (Heatbreaking)there yesterday ! My husband was racley profiled there ! The cashier lady yellled at him to move to the next lane , because the lane he was at, was not open ( my husband had no problem no moving ). It was her tone of voice witch took us by surprise ! I was looking at a few items before we checked out. And I turned to see her yelling at my husband , I was in disbelief ! I came up to the register and asked( in English ) if lane 2 was open ? She said yes, but by that time her tone of voice had calmed down. She assumed my husband and I did not speak English! There was no reason for her to speak that way to my him ! I didn’t not confront her , but did call the manager ! He was really no help , he said that the ways she talks to her costumer !! ( really) Wow ! But we felt racley profiled I was in tears talking to the manager on the Phone.

This is a fairly prices alternative to driving to Weatherford.Wish it was slightly bigger and had more of a selection.The people are friendly and helpful.Lumber, like everywhere else right now is short of good.

I have waited for 45 minutes at ace hardware and they said someone will go help me I called Sutherlands and ask a question and they said we carry it and I was there in 1minute they said ask for Josh and I found him and I was helped like in seconds dam I believe that I will be back more it's been my first time to shop there and Josh is a great guy very helpful and I now will be going back to shop for all my lawn care needs. Its time for a new mower the 60 inch aerins mower zero turn

Whoever answers the phone doesn't know what they do and don't have. Big store with lots of stuff. Went in there and couldn't find anyone to help me. They don't load your stuff... kind of like a big box store.

There is a older man that works here and he is the most irrogant smart mouthed rud individual I have ever come in contact with. Others have complained on him in the past. Why you would let this person in the public know one knows. You must not need the business because he runs off plenty

Spent $2500 on a Troy bilt feb 2014. They still have the modle for sale. But ...will not / can not order a new deck belt to run the mower blades. Will not return or spend any more money there.

ZERO STARS!!!! SO FRUSTRATING!!! WE LIVE VERY CLOSE AND FREQUENTLY SHOP HERE BUT IM DONE HERE...ALMOST EVERYTIME WE HAVE BEEN IN HERE WE HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME GETTING SOMEONE TO HELP ALTHOUGH THERE WAS A VERY HELPFUL MAN THAT HELPED US CUT A PIECE OF PLEXIGLASS BUT THE CASHIERS ARE NEVER FRIENDLY.. THIS SUCKS BECAUSE I AM VERY FRIENDLY AND WHEN TRYING TO CHECK OUT I CAN NEVER GET A SMILE BACK OR A THANK YOU. TODAY I SHOPPED HERE FOR THE LAST TIME. I WONT MENTION A NAME BUT OUR CASHIER WAS RUDE. NOT A HOW ARE YOU DOING? OR DID YOU FIND EVERYTHING OKAY? NOT EVEN A THANK YOU. I WILL BE TAKING MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO WEATHERFORD OR FURTHER IF I HAVE TO...
