This past Friday my 3 yr. old Sheltie, Trixie, tore one of her nails off and it was hanging at the nail bed. There were no local vets still open. I called Brazos Animal Hospital and was able to speak with Dr. Smith. She was extremely helpful over the phone and said they would be open Saturday morning 9-12. There would be technicians there that could take care of our dog. Savanna and Jody were very caring and took great care of our Trixie.I highly recommend Brazos Animal Hospital to take care of your pets. If I could give them more stars I would.

Highly recommend this place. We are full time RV travelers with a Yorkie mix. We have found out that it is definitely hard to find great vets and groomers on the road. Saw this place on google maps. Called and had an appointment for the following week. Took Milo in to have him groomed and found out he needed an updated vaccine. They were able to do both. Very thankful he was groomed so the burrs quit collecting in his fur. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Great place. Great staff. Got us in on short notice after my dog cut his paw. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. And the price was great. We are from out of town but they made us feel like regulars. I would recommend to anyone in the area!

I believe in fair and honest reviews, good or bad so I will begin by saying the office manager here is absolutely the most unprofessional and rude person I have ever dealt with in her position. I wish I had a recording of how and what she said to me when I called 3 minutes after 'closing time' when I had an emergency with my dog who was terminal, it was inexcusable and is despicable that someone like that is allowed to deal with the public. In hindsight my whole experience with Dr. Jarrett was horrific. He never communicated properly with me about what was wrong with my Chihuahua. Instead he took advantage of this very trying and emotional time to offer more and more proceedures, most of which were totally unnesseccery, costly and that ultimately only added to the suffering of my dog. If you've ever had a beloved pet that is gravely ill, you realize how desperate you become to save them, and you put your faith in someone who you hope is sincere about their well being. That being said, I've never had a vet be so rough with a pet, and I will never forget the way he hurt her during an exam. The whole office could hear her screaming, for quite awhile and I went home in tears for allowing this to happen...I still think about it as I'm dealing with the grief of her loss. I will say that two of the assistants were extremely nice and showed genuine concern for my dog. But the dark headed assistant has a constant impatient and uncaring attitude. I notice how everyone says the facility is so nice, well of course, bc we as customers are paying for the place by way of the inflated prices and added procedures. I finally, after having this horrible experience here and a similar one at Pet Western, found Mineral Wells Animal Clinic. They truly care about animals and are in business for the right reasons, it shows in their extremely reasonable prices AND genuine concern for their patients. ANGIE, please don't bother writing one of your rediculously insincere responses to my review. I know how you really are, you showed your true colors and I will do my best, in memory of my precious Jasmine to make sure as many people as possible know too. I am also taking this issue to higher authorities in hopes that no one else or their fur babies have to be subjected to such inadequate care. NOBODY deserves to be treated this way at any time, but ESPECIALLY when they are facing an inevitable loss. Save yourself a lot of heartache and money and find another place to get the care you and your pet deserve.UPDATE: To further show the downright inexcusable carelessness of this establishment, and its "office manager", I recently received a "reminder" for Jasmines rabies shot in the mail, four months after her death. This, after I had made sure to call the office and ask to be taken OFF their records and mailing list following her passing, trying to avoid finding something like this in my mailbox. It was heartbreaking, but somehow not suprising.

Took my dog in because he was having trouble with vomiting. The ran blood work, asked a few questions, and sent us home with a new food. He's doing better. They seem to know how to help my furry family member.

Today we had to put our doggy to sleep after having him for 12 years. 😔 I just want to thank the Doctors and staff for being so compassionate, caring, loving and understanding. They were extremely considerate and comforting during this time. We are so very grateful for them. They wrapped him in a beautiful blanket and carried him back to the car for us we appreciate you making an uneasy process a little bit easier.❤️

Dr Smith is excellent, compassionate vet. Her staff are trained and professional also. I drive 45 minutes one way to bring all 3 of my dogs to her. Their fees are also very reasonable and within industry standards. I highly recommend this clinic .

I've been going there for years and have always been satisfied. My only complaint is the noisy dog kenneI that echoes throughout the building. Yikes! If only it could be sound proofed a little more??

When we retired we moved from Arlington to Perrin & needed to find new Vet for our dogs. We chose Brazos Animal Clinic & both times we’ve been has been a very pleasant experience. The 1st visit has to put down our 13 yr. Boxer they were very kind & passionate during this time. 2nd visit was for our Yorkie as well check & minor skin problem. They were so kind & very informative. I would recommend them to anyone.

I decided as a last ditch effort to try acupuncture for my senior cat that has been struggling with a spinal injury for 2 years. In my one visit with BAH I learned more about my cat's physical situation than I had in 2 years of visits and questions going unanswered clearly. I only wish I had found BAH sooner for my senior. Acupuncture aside, the clear communication and answers were worth the drive and visit. I am grateful for the vet here in town that referred me to them, and for them taking the time to talk to me and care about my senior cat.

Great place to take your animals or your fur babies! They really love them there! this is my regular vet. I take my 2 dogs and 2 cats . But watch out for their office cat 😺 she will get you! if your not a regular. great place to take you animals.

Great staff and great prices. I find the post before mine interesting since I've been taking my dog there since February and Dr Jarret was no longer there. The current staff was very nice and I found Dr Jarret nice before. Perhaps she simply didn't want to hear that her pet was terminal and there was nothing left to do. What was the doctor supposed to say to someone who more than likely asked what can be done and didn't like being told there is nothing.

Dr. Jarrett and his staff are wonderful. They are thoughtful and kind, taking care to make sure that you and your pets are well served and making the very best decisions regarding care options. The boarding facility is immaculate. The groomer (Terry) is fabulous and my dogs (all 3) act as if they cannot wait to go in regardless of the reason for our visit.
