Right at the entrance, I was excited! I love finding a shop like this. Got to see so many of the more rare, hard to find fish, it was such a great time. The employees are top notch, and definitely know their stuff. I wish I wasn't from Kansas City, we don't have shops like this.

When walking into this place, you immediately notice the expertise. I will never buy aquarium plants or animals at big box stores again. The owners and workers are very knowledgeable and the prices are great. It is a tad more expensive than the big pet stores, but the extra money is absolutely worth it. The plants and animals are super healthy and not diseased. I would highly recommend this place for all your aquarium needs.

Very neat little gem! They are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Went for the first time yesterday and was able to get everything I needed to set up/convert my bio cube into a freshwater tank. Great selection of plants as well. I think I may go back today ;) I LOVE this place!

This place is a hidden gem they have a great selection of fish and the people that work there actually care about their fish. The lady actually teaches you about how to properly care for the fish they also have great supplies definitely will continue to buy stuff here.

This gem of a place is something else. My hubby and I came by last weekend and it was wonderfully overwhelming. Their selection is WOW...so much different than any pet/fish store. Amazing store. It takes a while to take it all in. We will most definitely be returning.This place is serious about their aquariums and sea life.

My go-to place for fish supplies. The staff are both knowledgeable and friendly, and the selection of supplies and varieties of good quality fish and plants keep me coming back. Using their in-house filtered water to maintain my aquariums has been a lifesaver too.

I am a noob, and the lady who runs AquaZoo made me feel like I could manage all the steps to get me started on an aquarium comfortably. She asked me good questions, gave me good suggestions, and guided me through the process based on whatever crazy notions I had in my head, letting me know what might work and what will probably not pan out. I feel like I would have definitely made a bunch of mistakes without her.

This store is in my top 3 freshwater tropical fish stores in the Houston area. The owners are always helpful and clearly experienced in the hobby. They always have a wide selection of fish and plants, so much so that I see something new or interesting every time I go. They have a good relationship with their importers and wholesalers as they seem to be able to fill special orders pretty fast. They are also easy to contact over email and get back to you quickly. Personally, I’m a corydoras and pleco guy, and I’m blown away by the awesome number of wild corys and L-number plecos they usually have. Honestly, mom-and-pop stores like one got me into the hobby. Sadly, they are as rare as hens teeth these days, but I’m glad to call this one my LFS.

Hands down my favorite fish store. Nothing fancy, just a kind, middle-aged couple who have made use of every square inch of their shop. They always have a fantastic selection of plants and shrimp, and the owners are so helpful and knowledgeable! I only go somewhere else if absolutely necessary. 10/10 recommend coming here for your aquarium needs!

I do enjoy this place they are super busy though. So when you go just be patient. They have a ton of stuff to look at as well as being very helpful and informational if you have any questions or concerns about your home fish tank. They do offer RO water as well.

Love this store! They always provide me with lots of information and suggestions for my tanks and great info on tank mates or ideas for nano aquarium's. Everything from the rimless tanks, rocks, plants, fish, gravel were supplied by aquazoo :)

First time in the store as a novice at keeping fish and starting to look into plants. The lady who helped me was EXTREMELY helpful and incredibly nice! You could tell she enjoyed talking about the plants and fish even though we walked in 45 minutes before closing. She made several recommendations and my wife and I came home with an assortment of plants and much more understanding of the hobby. I will be back and look forward to working with them!

FB recommended I try this store. I live 45 minutes away, so I messaged them to see if they had what I was looking for first. I messaged after hours and they still responded to me. Not only did they supply a list of the ones I was searching for they also gave me prices, so I could decide to make the drive or not. Every minute of drive time was worth it. The store is amazing and the people were even cooler. Thank you Shannon for your patience, understanding, guidance, and help. I love my new Lake Tanganyika themed tank and all its inhabitants. We will definitely recommend this store and we will be returning as well! Made my week after struggling with my tank for a few months. Thanks again a million!

Today we had our first visit to Aqua Zoo to learn about our tank setup before adding fish. They tested our water for us, and gave us the necessary stabilizers to get our water to a safe balance for our future fish! These people are SO sweet, and so incredibly knowledgeable. We are very much looking forward to doing more business with them!
