This store has a good diverse selection of products including the premium dog food that we give our beloved dog. Over the many years that I have shopped at Walden’s, I have not had a bad experience until recently. About three months ago I attempted to purchase a large bag of dog food along with other feeds for our animals. The large bag had been compromised by rats so I purchased two of the smaller bags and went away not too concerned. On April 18, 2022 I went to purchase a large bag of dog food. There were two large bags on the shelf and both were gotten into by the rats! One of the bags had been taped back up, after I assume had been chewed open by rats. Once again I purchased two small bags and didn’t notice until I got home that one of them had also been compromised by rats! I threw the food away. The more I thought about this the more concerned I got regarding the integrity of the food for my dog! I called three of the store locations including this one and was promised that someone would contact me, which they didn’t. Also, they did not seem overly concerned about the situation. After many years, I will not return to any of the Walden Feed stores again. I don’t need contaminated food for my dog!

I was very impressed with this location. They have my favorite pet food brand, Blue Buffalo; not to mention some great deals.the store has almost everything you would expect from a feed store. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help. The store has a great country feel to it. Their prices are better than some big box stores. This will definitely be my new feed store to go to.

We are new to the country and farm animals. I was looking up info on baby chicks online, and I saw that they sold them and had a little class about caring for them. My husband and I went to the class, which was super informative, and everyone was so helpful and friendly! We'll definitely be back! Next Saturday is a class about bees, which we also need. The store was really clean and organized, too. Thanks for the 2 free baby chicks! We're up to 9.

Just found out about their new location on 180 (the old drive in) great to have one early open on a Sunday too!. Always quality product! Even on the odd time we get a bad bag of feed, they always replace it and even now and then give another along with it. No complaints just glad you all are in town. Hometown at its best!

Absolutely the worst feed store I’ve been to in Texas. When you picture a feed store, you picture great service, polite individuals that come out and carry your feed to the truck and open the door for you. You do not get that here. I’ve been to this location 30-40 times and it is the same story every single time you walk in. As of today I’ve had enough and I will not return. I will notify their Purina rep that they are losing long time customers due to Waldens poor service.

I was really glad when Walden farm & ranch opened up just down the street from me, until I bought my first bag of horse feed. Had to drive 40 miles round trip to take the feed out to where my horses are. Got to the ranch, opened up bag, full of bugs. So drove back to weatherford to the farm store & showed them the problem. They got me another bag we opened it up, same thing. So to make it right they let me have a higher price horse feed at no extra cost, that was bug free. They were accomadating about the situation. Seems like nice people but I believe they ought to keep a check on their feed for such things, I always have. I probably won't buy anymore feed from them but that's not to say I wouldn't shop there. It is a very nice store.This is an edit to the above review.I have been buying my feed here now & have been very satisfied with it. They are very helpful in informing you the different kind of sprays & other products for your lawn & garden. I now do almost all my farm & ranch shopping here. I recommend them.

Edit. OUT OF BUSINESS IN WEATHERFORDThey had my product in stock and beat the price at Tractor Supply by quite a bit. Definitely worth supporting local suppliers.

Clean. Organized. Friendly. Mainly went in to have my dogs nails trimmed in the grooming salon located inside. The usual groomer was out so her daughter who grooms in Mineral Wells ( 28yrs ) was filling in. I have to say she was extremely friendly, personable and wonderful with my Kaci ( Boxer ). I noticed the other dogs there and all were being well cared for and their style cuts and or coats on a non style cut breed were beautiful. If I had a dog that needed grooming it would well be worth me driving to Mineral Wells if she weren't available here. I haven't met her mother who run the grooming salon here yet, but, I was referred to her by another salon and I had numerous high praise remarks for her which led me to Waldens. I scoped out the store while tbere. Did some comparisons on pricing ( they were slightly cheaper on several items ). I'll be back for some Xmas gifts, feed, dog food and few other things. Thanks Jenni for treating my dog with such a gentle hand and doing such a great job trimming and dremeling his nails and at such a great price!

I really enjoy this store and its friendly staff. They are quick to help or provide advice on whatever question you may have. The daily hours are great and they are open on Sundays!

As a rockhounder, I go to Waldens for my 20% Vinegar to clean river rocks. Best place to purchase from in this area.It has been about 5 months since I have returned to Walden's for the vinegar I spoke about. The price doubled for exactly the same item. They now have a Marketing Manager, I have not purchased anything from them since. He jacked up all prices, I'm not buying anything from them anymore.

Only been to this location 2 times. But they do sell Victor dog food. So if my local feed store is out. I know where to go. Very friendly staff!

Just got my dog groomed for the first time by them and I'm really not impressed they cut my dogs nails and she bleeding i've never had this problem before so I'm not very happy with it so in conclusion I will be going back
