Price was double the "start at" price advertised on the website for dogs who were recently groomed, and on the list of breeds that fell under that price. Owner had no explanation as to why the charge was $100 for a medium dog, other than "you should have got a price first".... Confrontation is never fun, but being dismissive and telling a customer that you will pay what I say or I will press charges leads me to believe this isn't the first time he has charged double what his advertised prices reflect. My dogs look cute but they have been shaking their head since I picked them up and one of them threw up. They have been groomed every 4-6 weeks since they were pups and this has never happened.

I was traveling 14 hours to the Weatherford area and needed to find somewhere to provide grooming for my Brittany spaniel before having pictures done. I sent a message describing my situation and asking if I would be able to make an appointment even though I wasn’t an established customer and it was short notice. Danny replied to me quickly, got me scheduled. He was extremely friendly when I arrived, checked my vaccination record, and took his time explaining the available service options to me and did a great job grooming. Coat was clean and soft, Nails were trimmed short and ground properly, teeth were cleaned well, he obviously took his time, not rushed, and my dog was extremely happy when I picked him up no signs of anxiety or stress from the time he was there.

I wouldn't recommend this groomer especially if you have a larger dog. They are put in cages far too small while they wait. The groomers are rude and my dogs got stressed every time they had to go. The only plus is the prices are cheap and they have good weekend hours but it's not worth dealing with such lousy customer service. We won't be back.

So happy with Dog Day Spa! After a co worker had a devastating experience at Puppy Luv(where our dog use to go) we won’t trust anyone except Dog Day Spa with our dogs again. They are kind, clean, and professional. My husband especially loves the perfect custom Mohawk left on our Schnauzer. #PrettyPunkDawg

Ive taken my dog Kiwi there two times now and the service is amazing. The first time I wasn’t sure what I wanted as far as services go so I called ahead and the gentleman was so nice and informative. This second time around I asked if they could do a full groom last minute and he assured me he could try but not promise due to high volume. I completely understood and told him it was more than okay and we can do it next time. When I picked up my baby girl it was to my surprise that they did a full groom. I’m very happy but was not expecting it! Their customer service is amazing and my baby girl comes out smelling and looking beautiful each time! Thank y’all for taking care of my Kiwi girl! :)

I wanted to take my puppy to the groomers so that way he can get used to going, and be better whenever he is older and goes to the groomer. I was anxious to leave him, but as soon as I dropped him off, they told me “we will take great care of him.” That is exactly what they did! My puppy looks and smells so much better! I will recommend this place to anyone who needs/wants their pet groomed. Bentley and I have found our groomer. Thank you so much again!

I would not recommend the groomer Danny Tucker at Dog Day Spa to anyone! I found a dog roaming Santa Fe on a Saturday afternoon so I immediately jumped out of the car and chased him down. I then sat with him, gave him water and called his owners on his tags. Turns out he had ran away from this dog groomer and had been running the streets all morning. The owners agreed to meet me to pick him up so as I waited, a random guy (who ended up being the groomer) comes up to me and said “is that the dog that bit me?” And put a temporary leash around his neck and yanked him away dragging him and choking this poor dog with no explanation. I said I was in contact with his owners and don’t mind waiting for them and he said “I know I’m the groomer he escaped from” this dog was so frightened and shaking uncontrollably. I told him he had no business treating that dog that way and he began to call me a “stupid b****” and flipped me off. Very unprofessional and this man has no business caring for any animal

I used to really love this place for my pups. The groomer lady really took good care of them and my dogs were always excited to visit. I had to stop taking them for a small time due to finances but when things leveled out, this was the first place I called. The owner answered was rude and determined to put me in my place about not knowing who his current staff was and that we could not get an appt for a very long time (a date over 2 weeks out was the earliest appt he mentioned). I'd heard from the staff, the owner was unprofessional but I got a dose, personally. I def. won't be leaving my dogs there, now.

I brought my dog here for a no-cut groom and he looked amazing. The groomer was very nice and told me all of the services they provide. I am very happy with this place and will be bringing my Lou back here.

Just called to try to set up an appointment for our little dog. Hadn’t been there and really liked the options on the website. The “gentleman” that answered the phone appeared to sound nice at the beginning of conversation, but when told how long it was til next appointment available, I made the comment, “wow, y’all are really a busy place”, (glad I might have found a new place to take our girl), his tone then was rude and unprofessional replying they do lots of service, 800 animals, and due to recent shut down, having to play catch up. “Hey dude, I was just saying wow!” Didn’t need the attitude. Your tone and response definitely helped me to decide that your place is not the place for my little dog. Try customer service and remember to think of the tone you use when talking to possible clients and current clients on phone. Have a wonderful day!!!

My boyfriend took our German Shepherd pup, Bruno, here for his 1st grooming. We will definately be back. He looks just great and no doubt in my mind he was difficult to handle as hes a very rambunctious pup. Thank you Dog Day!

If I could give 0 stars, Iwould! Terrible customer service! I Called and made an appointment after looking on the website. I walked in on time and was told the price was $49.99 for a bath and brush. I showed the owner that the website says a large breed bath and brush is listed as $24.99 to $32.99. The owner then insisted that my dog was a giant breed dog even though their website clearly lists a rough collie as large breed. The owner was very rude and said I had 2 options, either pay the $49.99 or take my dog and leave. We left immediately.

I recently took my terrier to have him groomed. Whoever groomed him shaved his hair on his behind so close that it is raw and red. You can see the clipper marks on his bare skin. He has been miserable for the last couple of days as his behind is itchy and swollen. I will never take him back here and implore all of you to not bring your pets here. Absolutely ridiculous!
