Don’t go to the Waxahachie PetSmart grooming department. I made an appointment to have my puppy get a bath/cut with nail grinding. This would be my first time using this location as I'm new to the area. She is a new puppy and this would have been my first time going to a groomer with her. The appointment was set for Sunday at 9:00 am. I live in Ennis, so I would have to leave around 9:00 or earlier to get there on time. I was contacted at 9:00 am to say they had to cancel my appointment because the groomer was not in. Which meant I had to turn around and take her back home. Which made me late for Church. My question would be "Why do they not have a backup person to take on her clients/appointments?" They were very unprofessional on the call and didn't try to rectify the issue. I asked if the manager was in and they answered yes and put me on hold for a very long time until I had to hang up.I would not recommend dropping your dog off here.

Had to use this location bc my normal location was booked for the month. I have a senior dog that MAY have a heart murmur, hasn’t been confirmed yet and has been groomed a few times before this appt and I was told I had to do an express service or she can’t be groomed. Never had this to be told to me at the other location. Come to pay I am a charged for express when I wasn’t told it was an extra cost and was the only option I had. Other than that the cut is good but I won’t be using this location again.

Don’t go to the Waxahachie PetSmart grooming department. We took our sweet little dog to get a bath and hair cut. Her hair cut was awful! They were very unprofessional when I picked her up and wanted to argue with us. We won’t be back. I would recommend dropping your dog off here.

We go there to get our chihuahua's nails cut. She's pretty crazy and she cries and screams the entire time. They are very patient and kind to her.

The reason for only 3 stars is because they were not very helpful with the check-in step. It was my first time and I didn't know what to do. The online instructions say to call from your car and they will tell you when to come in or they will come get you. I called and they said that someone was already in there and I needed to wait until they left and then for me to come in. I asked them what they meant, if I was to just watch the front door or what and she said yes. Well, people were coming and going with and without animals this whole time. Like I said, I had never done this before. I finally called back and told them who I was and they hung up on me. I called back a 3rd time. This girl explained a little better, but not much better. The 1st girl was not at all friendly. When I finally got my dog in to be checked in the girl seemed rattled because my dog had never been groomed before. I began to doubt my choice of establishments at this point. However, I finally got him checked in and she said she wouldn't make any promises that she would be able to do anything with him but would try. This is because he was nervous mostly from being in the car. In the end she said he did fine and he looked very good. The check out procedure was again confusing though.At least next time I'll know what to do if I return.Update on this establishment. I brought my fur baby back and the workers were not at all friendly. And you can tell by the second picture that whoever groomed my baby just scalped him!! There are spots where he has no hair at all. I am so angry. Of course I won't be returning!!

I took my dog for his nails to be cut and they cut so low cause him to bleed. They didn’t even tell me when I picked him up. Needless to say I’m not using Petsmart ever again. I’m so disappointed.

Place was better organized than a few other PetSmarts that I have stopped at over the years. Staff was a lot more friendly and helpful here.

Mrs. Claus stopped by PetSmart in Waxahachie to get treats and toys for her fur babies. Mrs. Claus was delighted with the help she received from the store staff. I wish they would have had more dog sweaters 🎅🧑‍🎄🎄

I will NEVER use their groomers again! They shaved my husky (which should NEVER be shaved) and with winter months now being upon us, she only has peach fuzz (and a dog sweater) to try to keep her warm. Then they tried to charge me $125 included in this price was a bath and brush with a furminator on a dog with no fur! The only good part was the Manager, Sarah was amazing, she listened to my complaint, gave me a full refund, and let the groomer know what she did was not ok. Before and after photos are shown.

Very friendly and helpful people working there. I got out puppy's collar there. Then later on I had to find a harness for my tiny fur baby, but she was too small. So one lady working there finally found us a ferret harness for her! I appreciate the amount of time spent to help us. It's also very clean, and I love that they have animals from shelters there you can adopt as well!

They said the service would take Four hours. I paid for the same service Twice, but only took two hours. I expected my dog to look cute with a cute bandana, but that didn’t happen. He was just bald and Presley the dog groomer never said I was double paying. I’m closing my account with PetSmart and I will purchase Chewy.

Inexperienced, unprofessional groomers. Mini Schnauzer had some mats in skirt and beard. Groomer attempted to shame me for it and then completely shaved everything, including he whiskers. Charged me extra for it and was very smugly proud of what she accomplished. A skilled groomer would NOT have needed to completely remove the whiskers.
