I've ignored this place for almost 4 years. I thought it was an outlet. I returned some boots there. I walked in, and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It is clean and organized. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This will be my hangout.

Women’s bathrooms Unbelievably nasty. Someone need to call maintenance. I mentioned this to an office person, not sure anything will be done. She just looked at me dear in the headlights. I love JCP shopping but this is gross

Went to buy a suit with my brother this weekend. Paula was very helpful, friendly, informative, and helped us pick out everything.The suit was affordable, and looked very nice. This woman was amazing. I would definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a suit. She help d my brother find the perfect size, and the suit fits like a glove.

I went in looking for a dress for an upcoming cruise. The dresses were very slim pickings; this is the exact store I purchased last year's from. Last year, I had an assistant from the store help with my selection, which drove the price of the dress up. This year, nobody even checked the number of dresses I took to the dressing room. Once I decided on the dress and checked out, they didn't have a dress bag to place over my purchase. Times have changed for the worse

The cashier was rude, my site to store order was a gift set, the shipping box was sealed but, the gift set box was open, the products were sealed so I’m not going to bother taking it back. The online order and the in store experience was disappointing.

This is the worst JCPenney in all of DFW. They close earlier than their Google hours in a spur of the moment manner. They inform you of their made up hours by having an employee stand at the door and turn customers away by shouting at you. They only have one dressing room available at all times. And then close said dressing room anywhere between an hour to 42 minutes before they are closing without an announcement over the intercom or any signs stating this policy which means they are wasting customer’s time, energy, and gas money coming to this horrible location. The customer service is non-existent and laughable at best. I had over $1000 in purchases I was ready to make, but cannot buy items without knowing which sizes I need to purchase. This is disappointing and frustrating as a consumer and I will not be back to this location. And I now understand why their business model is in financial turmoil and forced to close locations like this one. I hope you make better choices in the future. Best regards.

I haven't returned to this JCP location in 5 years as the first time I went it was a disaster and everything thrown everywhere so I didn't go back. I figured I would check it out a couple days ago and give it another chance and it was much better. Very organized and clean. So I'm guessing there was a change in management. I will go back. However, I do have an issue with the changing rooms being closed at 7pm when the store doesn't close until 8pm. Is this a store policy? I wanted to try on a couple of items but couldn't. I asked the workers and they just said sorry we are closing them. I almost didn't buy my items because I didn't want to have to go back and exchange them. Not sure you want to lose sales this way. Very frustrating!

This store has an assistant manager there that treats people like a thief when they pay cash for merchandise (more than $1000) and try to return one item from a cash transaction. I had receipts for credit transactions and all other items. She literally refused to consider an exchange even for the item and said it was not purchased there. Very poor response to a customer that purchased much of their Christmas there at that store. Unfortunately, I was not the only one.The rest of the staff was helpful, courteous, and professional. They moved the lines quickly and efficiently.

Horrible customer service. Brought shirts back that are on sale for 21.99 and since I didn’t have a receipt they wouldn’t let me have anything but $7….wow…so instead I took the shorts back to take with me and give away. I’m sorry your staff laughed at me, too. Manager and checker = unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Kindness is out of the window here! Worst JC Penny around.

Your policy of closing the dressing rooms 1 hour before closing time is absolutely unacceptable and reflects your unwillingness to pay your employees after closing time. All you have done is likely waste the time of your customers by causing us to have to bring things back. Not being able to use a dressing room at 7 pm is ridiculous and no other store in town does this. Likely will never be back.

Very helpful staff. We were having a little bit of trouble finding what we needed, when a staff member offered to help without us needing to ask. She was very polite & patient. The cashier looked up several coupons to ensure we were receiving the best price avaliable.

Idk they really make you think it's asale til you get to the cashier. The factors are simply you are paying the correct amount for what they put over priced to get more moneyBut all in all they have good quality and a good selection of bougie.

Shopped here for almost an hour and went to try on clothes in the dressing room. The employees were roping off the dressing room and I asked if there was another on open. They said all of them are closing. The store closes at 7pm and it was 6:18 and would not let me try anything.

JC Pennys used to be the place to go. Now, it is directed more towards the seniors. It feels like the only youth in the store is some of the employees... might need to change that

Trash. The store is a mess and service is terrible. They always put the wrong discount with the sale items and then blame you when you try dispute the price. This has happened more than 1 time visiting the store. Tonight we asked for a manager and the "LOD" came to us. She was extremely rude and walked off in the middle of the conversation. I'm glad sephora is gone so I have 0 reason to go in. This store needs to be the next JCP to go out of business. Give us a decent store to shop in Waxahachie 👎

This store has a great staff and amazing GM. My item was not placed in the bag on accident. The ladies I spoke to were very apologetic and sweet. The Gm stepped in and went above and beyond to make it right. His staffs customer service and his actions are a reflection of great leadership! Keep up the good work! Thanks Again!!

Jcpenny was one of my favorite stores growing up.. this location was nice, it was stocked and had everything I was looking for but it was a ghost town as far as customers go.. employees quietly doing their jobs, available for questions but somehow it was strange being only one of about 10 or so people In the entire store...

Great clothes for big and tall guys like myself! Love the selection of clothes, although sometimes have a hard time finding exactly the size I need. Only thing keeping this from a 5 star review is checkout is ALWAYS A PAIN. They never seem to have enough employees checking out customers, there’s always a long line.

Selection here is pretty decent, went in to get some curtains and a purse for the house and my significant other. The staff was very courteous and kind making sure that we had everything we needed. We did have to return to have the purse refunded as my girlfriend did not like it, however the staff was very accepting and made the process easy and stress-free.

I know I can always come here and find a good deal. I got my husband two pairs of Arizona brand jeans for $25 a piece. That's a steal. The plus size options are great and the children's section is awesome. I love me some JCPenney.

I had to buy a suit for a wedding. Paula helped me pick out a tie, match up shirts, a belt, she was awesome Paula also told how to save by opening an account, and showed me where the discounted items were. I was able to buy more and spent a couple hours there. The store was very clean and neat, I will be back again. Keep up the good work, Jcpenney.

It's okay. The store is always clean. But seems to always be short staffed. Lines are always long, only have the registers in front open. Never anyone in the shoe section to assist. No one ever in the lingerie section to assist, and it's always in array. Nothing is organized, seems they get new merchandise in, but no one ever puts it up. I only keep shopping here cause I get good deals with my reward points, and alot of times they have good online deals.
