Cayla in the grooming center is so amazing and my dog looks incredible after her hard work. She gave him a bath, ear cleaning, and nail trim. He was nervous going in but when I came to pick him up he was very comfortable with her! Thank you very much Cayla! Sammy and I will be back again.

Having a sick puppy and not knowing where to go and how to afford it has become a thing of the past. Got a quote at Penny paws for the basic needs of my puppy and it was almost $2,000. Found PetSmart has a wellness plan and it saved her life from the point of affordability at the time of need. Having every test x-rays blood work pancreatic being able to have 6 months of flea medication to be able to have her medication her food I walked out of there at 238 and a monthly fee of 124. When she's getting to feel better this monthly cost will also cover her to get fixed. Pet insurance can't even touch that. She has unlimited doctor visits she gets her teeth cleaned once a year she gets blood work and anything that she needs going forward will be under that umbrella of that monthly fee. Just remember the reviews aren't always accurate in every situation is different. Banfield has been around for 50 years you don't last 50 years doing it wrong just saying in my opinion.########. ##########. ########Update. Dr. George at the North Tarrant stand alone location in NRH. You sir have opened Pandora's box. They charge me for service that was not rendered. Did not give me any medicine. Took her back to the NE location where Dr.Moore was unable to make a determination what was going on with mahalo because tests were not performed at the first visit. Going to start with ensuring accountability for what is going on there.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Today my dad and I tried to take our two Australian Shepherds (Cooper and Sadie) to get groomed and the experience was HORRIBLE. When we were dropping them off we met this frustrated couple who had been waiting for their dog to be done for 5 hours. Already starting off bad.Our dogs were pretty anxious because it was their first time at a salon. So when Jessica (the cashier girl) tried to take Cooper(with a choker leash instead of the harness we brought them in with) to the back he jumped up on her because he was nervous. She let out a loud groan and acted like she had just gotten shot. It was ridiculous.Jessica came back to the front and tried taking Sadie to the back(again with the choker leash) and she started freaking out. Instead of calming her down the girl just pulled tighter on the leash which caused Sadie’s eyes to turn red and she started gasping for air. I spoke up out of fear for my dog but was told “it’s fine.” And then one of the groomers proceeded to say “If she keeps acting like this we’ll have to call you to pick her up.”Before we had even walked back to our car they called us saying we needed to pick them up because Sadie “looked like she was going to get aggressive.” Our dogs have never been aggressive towards any animals or humans but they are nervous by nature. I was so infuriated that they had given up on our dogs so quickly. I didn’t say a word to them and my dad had to go to the back to retrieve our dogs.On top of all this, Jessica brought him the wrong dog saying it was Cooper. It was not. My dad had to show her where our dog actually was. These people are completely unfit, incompetent and incapable of working with dogs. Please do yourself and your dogs a favor and don’t bring them here.

I took my Doodle to Petsmart for a haircut in January, and Trinity did an amazing job! She is literally the best! When I saw my puppy, she was super cute and I was smiling ear to ear. I couldn’t wait to book again and thought I found my forever groomer.My most recent experience, today, was the total opposite with a different groomer (Trinity was not available). I booked a bath and brush only as I knew my doodle was not matted. The groomer checked her and said there will be an extra $25 because she is matted underneath her mouth. This was literally the only spot she was matted, and I believe they were just trying to upsell. I did NOT want nor ask for any type of hair cut anywhere on her body as she did not need it. However, when I picked up my doodle, the hair on top of her head and ears were cut very low; she did not look like a doodle at all. Not only was I pressured in to paying more (or no bath) but the end result was absolutely horrible. I am highly disappointed with the service I received today and will not be going back.*I would share a photo, but I do not see the option.

Very rude. Wouldn't help. No greeting when I entered. Ask to help return an items, and they wouldn't do so without a receipt. But when I went. They didn't offer one and when I asked. They stated they were out of paper! Definitely don't waste your time. Go down to petco around the corner way more helpful and nice people

Got me a beta fish . So far had it a few weeks . He is doing great and he is happy to be out of that cup. Good service I went close to closing employees were nice they did not rush me . They let me pick my perfect fish.

Brought my Yorkie in for his first groom charged 58.00 plus I tipped 10.00 they only cut hair around his paws and under belly. That is highly expensive. He won't be back.I am highly disappointed for 68.00, and he is only 10 pounds.

I was there quite a bit of time before the staff helped me with the fish. Overall felt as if I were being a burden with my frivolous question. I did purchase a beta and he's not looking so good. Heater in the tank, adequate housing and he doesn't seem to be acclimating appropriately. Wondering if I should subject him to another transfer? 😕

I'm actually pretty irritated. Ill start with the fish selection. Majority of the fish were healthy, but I did notice a few dead/dying ones just laying on the gravel. Also, I understand the snails are hard to keep alive but to keep a pile of dead ones in one tank isn't good. Aside from the fish, what really irritated me were the hermit crabs. First of all, the soil was nearly dry and there was not proper humidity in the tank. For those who aren't aware, hermit crabs have gills. They need proper moisture to be able to breathe, which many people aren't aware of, which is why they usually only live 2 years in captivity versus the 20 they are capable of (or 30 in the wild). And my last point is that I saw some mold growing around their food due to the small amount of moisture that the tank does provide. The mold could potentially kill them. Along with this, although every pet store is like this, hermit crabs need 6 inches of substrate to bury themselves in the molt, and if they don't have that, they will die. This tank didn't even contain enough for them to merely bury themselves. If the store doesn't provide 6 inches, the least they could do is give them some space to cover themselves.

Very helpful, great workers that are friendly and knowledgeable. They help a local rescue to home animals that need a family to love them. They helped me adopt a wonderful bunny. --- 2 years later: I saw my email say this review was popular so I thought I would add to this review, bunny (Houdini) is doing well! Adopted 1 more since this review but here is another image of bun in their litter box and one of a failed boop.

I volunteer here making cat videos on social media so I can help the cats get adopted. All the volunteers that work here are nice and truly care about the well-being of the cats and for them to be adopted into good homes. This is a very nice Petsmart where the staff and volunteers are friendly anf caring.

My granddaughter loves going in and seeing all the animals. The associates are always helpful. I especially love the discounts given. I know Bettas are very sensitive fish. I do wish they checked on them often during the day. It's disheartening when you find dead fish on display.

So, I was looking for a hamster for my daughter mid April of 2019 (during the COVID 19 outbreak) and this Pet Smart had the last hamster in the metroplex. They were so friendly and helpful because I’d be driving over 30 minutes to make my purchase. They said they weren’t able to hold her, but were very kind in updating me of her availability each time I called. April the hamster was a HUGE surprise and is now a part of the family. Excellent customer service . Brought my cat in for a new collar Lady at the front I think her name was Mary super sweet lady! Talking to me and my furbaby as if she was her own . Just lost our oldest kitty and she was very comforting and personable if only more people like her worked in retail.

They saved my little girls life today! I was at Banfield this morning dropping my dog off for her 6 month check up and shots. She was extremely nervous today, (not normal) and managed to get out of her collar/leash and headed for the front door. They fortunately have a safty code for emergencies and the girl at the front register fixed the door so it would not open automatically until I could get to her and pick her up!!!THANK YOU PETSMART AND BANFIELD 💜🐶

Woman(around age 30) (maybe manager im not sure)working Tuesday 8/8 night at closing was rude and kept rushing us. We came an hour before closing and at 8:30 was selecting the pet we wanted. She wouldn't even let us think for 5 minutes without rushing us. To the point where she actually said "I can choose for you" um I think not. Why would we want you to choose the new addition to our family? I have worked customer service for my whole adult life and even if a customer came 5 minutes before closing we DO NOT RUSH THEM and they were 30 minutes from closing that night.On the other hand I gave 2 stars instead of 1 for the quirky,kind cat lady at the register with the short bangs she's in the right line of work.

Great location. My dog is getting his little teeth cleaned this morning, we were both very nervous. The technician was very helpful in easing my worries, which was great! I hate that he’s going to be here all day, at least I’m sure he’s gonna be ok.

This store deserves -0 starsMy dog got a hair cut (basic level) plus oatmeal shampoo for $50 total.We got home and his nails weren't trimmed, and his ears were dirty. What a rip off.Basically don't come here. Go to a local owned store that would take way better care of your dogPictures show ears not cleaned and nails not cut.

I had a great experience today. Sweet lady (can't remember her name) helped me get a free container of Kong cheese since it was a buy 3, get 1 free. I didn't notice, and she didn't have to help me, but she did.We keep coming back because they stock a great variety of product for all kinds of pets. Sugar glider wheels, dog toys, better-grade food, and beds. Good example of how brick & mortar business can provide better, faster service, so keep up the good work!

They sell stressed, diseased fish. Some loser on the phone claimed she was the manager but had zero customer service skills. It's obvious they care nothing about fish and animals here. They want me to keep dead fish (that died in the bag right after they gave them to me, mind you) for up to 14 days in my freezer.. yeah right

I would like to say if you’re wanting fish DO NOT go to the short girl with drawn eyebrows. All I wanted two fishes for my fish tank.there was this one girl who was ready to give me the fishes I wanted but the girl with the drawn eyebrows she refused to sell me two gold fish. So I told her if I can get these two guppie fishes and she goes these fishes will die the first week you put them in your tank. & I said Ohk thanks and tells me you will not get a refund if they die. So I came the next day to get another fish because two looked weird she was there and when i asked her for one more she didn’t say anything hi or have a good day.UPDATETHEYRE FULLY ALIVE AND I HAVE TEN GRANFISHIES & it’s been two months now

Purchased a fancy bear syrian hamster on 1/4/19 that died in 14 days!!! She looked perfectly fine the day before. Eating and drinking as normal, NO SIGNS OF STRESS. Took back for a refund as my 13yo dau was too distraught to replace. Found out from other people that have gotten their hamsters from this location recently that one died as quickly as ours and another was sold with cancer!! Definitely would second guess any further animal purchases from them. Staff is helpful and friendly though.

I have brought my dogs here to be groomed multiple times for baths and brushes which all went okay with little to no complaints. However, after taking my four month corgi to a different salon after a stressful experience for a haircut. She feet had to be redone, and the trim they attempted had to be finished. There were no issues at the new salon and I will not be bringing my dogs back to this salon
