I took my fur baby in today to get her nails clipped. Love that pet haven has this walk in service on Saturdays 11 to 1. The service was perfect both customer service and the care given to my fur baby.. I also picked up some treats while there. Great price, great customer and fur baby care. Thank you❤️🐶❤️

Love Pet Haven! The only place I bring my dog. He will not let anyone else touch him. He is very difficult and aggressive when being groomed! Ms Laura was the only one that would help me when my dog had extreme anxiety when being groomed. He’s now been going to her at Pet Haven for the last 4 years!

I have had my dog serviced once and when I picked her up her nail was bleeding. They cut the nail too low. I decided to give them another shot but when you call them the woman who answers is not friendly at all. I asked if they had a same day appointment and she said no then abruptly hung up the phone. This has happened twice. I don’t care how close the establishment is to me, I will not return. My thought is if the the customer service is this bad, how are the pets being treated? I have found another groomer that is friendly and the customer service is great.

Lori is the best she will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your fur baby or babies. I have used her in the past and have always be satisfied with her grooms, we just recently got a new puppy a Golden Doodle Max and started using her again and again received top notch service when she is doing the grooming.

I brought my lion hair rabbit to this establishment to be groomed and I spoke with the owner over the phone everything was going so well at 1st but once my son and I got there the experience was horrid. My son and I had watched so many videos on how to properly handle a domesticated rabbit and not one was seen in the establishment. I got our rabbit for my son for an emotional support animal. He and I were extremely disturbed and disappointed with our experience there. This was the last time my rabbit will ever be put through this type of trauma or treatment. My son and I cried because we didn’t want to leave him there but he needed to be groomed so we said a prayer and went home. Ms. Laura was handles him very roughly and when she picked him up she didn’t even support his feet then when he kicked around( because keep in mind that rabbits are prey animals and already don’t like to be held bc it’s stressful for them ) she yelled at him and she also brushed him while holding him in the aid with no support I thought she was going to drop him. I will never bring another animal there ever or refer any animals to the establishment. My poor rabbit was afraid to com from his cage and he’s always really happy go lucky jumping around and doing binkys he went strait to hide once we got home. Even my bff on the phone was like oh heck no I’m leaving her a bad review bc that’s not right. It really sat with us so wrong and, I paid 120 for a $10 brush and to get him groomed and abused. Thank God he’s Non aggressive at all even more of a reason he should never have gotten this type of treatment, then she asked for a tip I was truly out done.

I'd love to give this place my business but, they're never open when I can get there.. 8-3..? How do they make money?¿ it's OK that the hours don't work but, I'm going to a big box store opposed to being able to support small local business. I want to support you but operating strictly during normal business hours is limiting, I'd imagine. I'm here to give you my money, but I can't. I can't be the only one in the neighborhood with this thought. With Love.Edit: it's fine if you don't want the business but I alone would bring you $200 a month.. what about the rest of the neighborhood that gets home at 530-6.. very odd.. just remove it as a public business?

Great place to get your feed. I love the whole crew who works here, there is plenty of character (which I consider a good thing). First visit, I got a tour of the entire floor to understand where and what to find. It wasn't hand holding, it was the employee (or manager?) providing me with a very descriptive stock that they hold. Will be come here from big box stores or online outlets any day.

The owner is absolutely fantastic! She knows a lot about everything and is super helpful in helping customers select the right products. She is very knowledgeable regarding organic and safe products and solutions which is fantastic for our family. I highly recommend Pet Haven!

I've been going here for about 6 yrs or less to get my fur baby Eski groomed. I Always receive service with Laura & her late husband David. Now Laura keeps going with the same quality of service. Eski comes out with a new attitude. I highly recommend paying Laura & her staff a visit for your pet care needs

They have great prices and everyone who works there is so nice! This is the first time my dog hasn’t freaked out of life over getting her nails trimmed! They are very gentle and sweet and made her feel at ease. They also have a great selection of wholesome foods and toys which my dog tried to shoplift on her way out (sorry about that lol).

Took both of our doggos in because they desperately needed a flea bath and grooming. I have been to many grooming places in Watauga but none even come close to how awesome they are at Pet Haven! They answered all my questions and our babies are for the first time, absolutely flea free!!! If you care about your pets and are looking for a dependable clean place to take them to, this is the place for you!

They seemed nice, but my dog was badly hurt here and returned to me with severe bruises and abrasions. . I told them my dog was very scared of being groomed, and they assured me they would take extra care. He was red all over when they returned him to me... I was kind of in shock, so I just paid and left, and took pictures when I got home. They said it was caused by a harness in the bath area.... must be a very sharp harness to cause that kind of damage. My dog had scabs healing for weeks from the damage he received there. I will not return. I have posted a picture that shows how red his skin was. His neck, shoulders, ears, face, and part of his back were this color. All of that redness turned to scabs that I picked out of his fur for weeks. 15 years of getting groomed, and this has never happened.

Please be careful of this place! I wouldn't recommend taking your fur baby here. After finding a new place I spoke to a former employee who's mouth dropped when I told her that I was using PetHaven. There were several times I dropped my dog off and he didn't have no fleas. When I picked him up he had fleas. I brought this to their attention and they blamed it on my backyard. There's no way this was possible . Also they handle dogs roughly. Good luck you've been warned.

My pug Brody got a grooming here. For $30 he got a wash, dry, glands, toenails clipped. He smelled so good when I picked him up and he was so silly happy. The staff was very kind and even gave me a tour of the facility. I'm very pleased with my experience. You can tell they care very much for the animals in their care. We will be returning customers.

I had just made an appointment in another place, I will not mention the name here, but the girl at the other place was rude, didn't welcome me nor my dogs. All the dogs where barking and my two Yorkies where petrified. So... I left them there, I then went explained to her that my little one was very nervous and suffers from tremors, that if she was too shaky to call me. She gave me a nasty attitude and told ugh, she'll be fine! I got in my car looked at my husband and he said" I didn't like her" I agreed with him and jumped out of my car picked them up, and googled this place pet Haven. When inside they welcome me, gave me a tour, we met the staff, the place was clean, dogs where happy, and my Yorkies where very comfortable. I explained that this is their first gromming and she made us feel at home, so I definitely made an appointment for my two babies, I really recommend this place, very Happy with their kindness, and they're are very professional.

Definitely would not recommended this place. Owner was not willing to provide any customer service or at least willing to hear my concern. They were rude and salty after i described the patches left on my dog along with the foul smell. They claimed they showered her and my dog smelled worse coming out than going in. I urge you to take a look at where they hold your pets.

Great place... let me tell you my story! I was in dire need of help from these guys. I had put some flee treatment on my dog and for some reason I broke out with hives. We had just moved from Utah and never had to deal with flees before. I needed someone to take my dog away from me and fast! I had called several places and no one would help he right away. Eventhough they were booked full these guys had no problem fitting him in for me. They washed him up and took care of him spoiled him like he was their own. I use to take my dog to petsmart, never again. These guys did a great job on the hair cut and even sent me home with some sample dog foods (I'm sure this is a sales tactic but I didn't mind they helped me when no one else would). I'll be sure to buy my dog food from them as well. They helped me so the least I can do is return the favor.

I brought my dog Lilly, a boston terrier, in for a bath and to get her toe nails trimmed. They smoothed out the rough edges. No more scratching me when playing ball. Lilly's coat was silky. Knowledgeable staff.

I have been taking my corgi Trevor to Pet Haven for 3 years. I love them Dave and his wife are so knowledgable and friendly. Every time I call they know my pets name without having to look or ask. They see my name on caller ID and ask about him. My pet LOVES going here. He gets so excited when he knows he's going to see Dave. I have taken Trevor other places but I had to fight to take him. As long as they are open I will never take my dog anywhere else.

I agree with Dennis. Patrick needs to get a clue. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. That's why the got back with you on Tuesday. They need a clock? You need a clue! And double posting to get Pet Haven a bad rating is suspect. I think patrick may be a competitor."They are very informative in regards to the dogs health." I totally agree! They only carry products that are healthy for dogs and cats.My White German Shepherd is healthy and happy. Not too many places I can buy Innova or Precise products.

Amazing locally owned pet supply store. Fun items here that you won't find elsewhere, and great stock of high quality foods. People are very nice and knowledgeable too. Overall great place!
