Stopped in tonight looking for holiday clearance and Christmas decor ideas to incorporate with the look I'm creating this year. I walked several isles seeing boxes, shopping carts, and products in the traffic path. The "Clearance" area was a disaster with everything all mixed up, most unmarked so you had no idea the prices or if the item was truly clearance priced.After finding a few items to purchase we headed to a checkout, two self checkouts only took cards, the manned registers employee was doing the job of three people with assisting a customer, responding to our machine's request for verification on a rated R movie we were purchasing. As well as the customer behind us who needed his assistance for the cold medicine she was trying to purchase. A major reason we do not shop Dollar General now that this check out system is in place.

The girls who work in the store are so sweet and helpful. The store itself is always a disaster. You can't get a buggy down the aisles or one end is blocked with carts and boxes. If things were put on the shelves in a timely manner and not just left everywhere this would be a great store for our tiny community.

Attention Dollar General Corporate office! Why don't you staff the stores accordingly ? Every time I go in there ,there is always one person putting up stock and cashing people out. Employees are in a bad mood due to toxic working conditions created by corporate and their greed to squeeze the most out of every employee. You don't run a business with one person. In order to make money YOU have to invest and spend money because if it takes too long to pay for items we all will go to the next store that is adequately staffed so that we can get in and get out quickly. Time is essential.

I have always had a good experience with workers in this particular location up until a couple of days ago. I went in to get cigarettes (the brand I smoke is a Texas thing) and the lady that checked me out literally opened each carton of cigarettes and took each pack out saying " I need to count them to make sure they are all here". Now I know they have to be opened to be rang up but... I told her " The carton was unopened so of course they are all there". She opened the other carton up and did the same thing (yet used just one pack to ring all 20 packs up). I found this very out of the ordinary and tried to keep an eye on her because it did not seem right. Needless to say when I got home and was taking the cigarettes out of the carton I was 1 pack short. I did not go back down there to bring it to her attention. I just know the next time I go if she is the one to check me out I will ask for another cashier. The dishonesty of this person was enough for me not to want to deal with her. One the other hand the older man and the younger woman that work there are always very friendly and helpful.

This has to be the cleanest and most well kept Dollar General Store I've ever seen..that includes INSIDE and OUTSIDE!! The employee's are very helpful and without an attitude (which means they actually enjoy helping)..lol..AMAZING!! This store is DEFINITELY recommended ALL DAY LONG!!

Very clean if only slightly cluttered may have very well been because they just got a delivery. That being said the people were very nice and the restroom was very clean had a variety of items including food and drinks.

If I could, I would give the store zero Stars... The daytime cashier's always got ear buds in her ears and she's always talking on the phone to someone when she's checking you out.. makes you feel like you were bothering her... I thought you were not allowed to be running your mouth on the phone while you're checking customers out when you work in retail but I may be wrong... They don't keep the store stocked.. the manager really doesn't care about the issues that are going on.. her employees talk on the phone right in front of her and she doesn't do anything about it. I will drive to greenwood to go to that Dollar general before I go into this one ever again

The store is always filthy, the shelves do not have great presantionship, they lack it over all looks dirty , if i had other stores to choose from in my town i woukd never come back.

They are starting to get the store back to how it shpuld be. Have been going there since it opened and it was getting pretty nasty for a while but recent visits were better and getting organized.
