The absolute least I could do for Waller is write something positive. The vets, Dr. Boutros and Dr. Knapp, along with the support staff have been so kind and compassionate to my horse and I - not to mention extremely patient through all of my questions and concerns regarding my horses' surgeries. (I even got to watch one of them!) They didn't make me feel like she was just another patient, but really did care about her. I really just couldn't say enough good things about them, and i'm so happy I have such a wonderful team of vets for my horse.I just hope they don't mind all of my update emails and pictures! 😅

Dr. Whyard has seen my 30yr old senior gelding twice in the last couple months. She and her support staff have been amazing both times. Diagnosing, treating and setting up a treatment plan for me to follow at home. Very thorough answering ALL my question no matter how silly or small. This is my first time taking care of a senior horse and it gives me great comfort knowing I have a team at Waller to help me provide the best quality of life possible for my old guy.I live close to 2 hours from the clinic and I’d never take my horses anywhere else. It’s worth the haul for me and my animals. Gold standard quality of care!!Thank you waller for everything y’all do! My horse, unfortunately, has been to Waller 3 times in the past year, once for an embedded string in her leg, once for bad hoof abscesses, and once for summer sore treatment. Each time I have had to bring my horse to Waller I have had a great experience. The vets are amazing at calming my nerves and talking me through my horses treatment. They provide me with written home care instructions, for which I am grateful. I've usually had a ton of questions once I am home with my horse. The people at the front desk are great at answering all of my questions. I am so happy to have found an amazing vet clinic for my horse.

I cannot emphasize enough how great this office is. I have been taking my horses here for over 5 years now. I had to move about an hour and a half away a couple of years ago and have tried to situate myself at closer vet offices but they do not even minimally compare. I have been traveling an hour and a half for over 3 years now and will continue to do so for their excellent service. They are not only very reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable but everyone there tries to give you the best treatment you can get within your means. They take such good care of our horses that the hour and a half drive is worth it every time.

I called tonight about my colicing horse. I am unfortunately outside the service area for their mobile emergency services, but that did not stop the staff from helping me in every way they could. The woman I spoke with at Waller was incredibly helpful and kind. She sent me a list of nearby clinics and a list of individuals who would haul my horse to Waller. I got in touch with Amy W. from the list and she spoke with me in depth about my options and what to look for in a colicing horse. I had many questions and she answered them all thoroughly. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone- their support staff blew me away with their eagerness to help my horse and myself by giving me instructions on getting through this situation. Thank you to everyone I spoke with tonight.

Absolutely amazing! Very professional from the girls up front to everyone in the back. The girls got us a appointment right away and Dr. Whyard and the tech was amazing. She examined my mares eye and gave us what options were available. We chose to have it removed. She explained surgery in detail. Surgery was preformed same day and was able to go home the next day. When we arrived to pick her up I was given detailed instructions for the aftercare. Our mare was very well taken care of. Since it was cold they provided one of their blankets to keep her warm. I will definitely be using Waller Equine again was worth the hour drive in.

My wife brought her horse here for surgery. She was promised there would be absolutely no risk of any problems. Her horse passed away the day after we brought him home. Surgeon won't even speak to her. The people who did the autopsy stated they weren't allowed to share information with anyone but Waller Equine. Waller equine called and of course blamed my wife for his death. My wife's world is turned upside down because of this and we are $4,000 in the hole. Thank you Waller Equine hospital.

My first experience with Waller Equine, we had been using Katy Equine (Dr Stone referred us). What a difference! We had a down horse emergency and they were out within 2 hours. Dr Schroeder & tech Shelby were incredibly professional, caring, took time to explain all potential causes & treatments of each. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get him on his feet & after tests were run we had to euthanize. Even the tech who came to euthanize & remove him was very kind, professional & calming. What an awful loss, but I felt like we were in the best possible hands in our situation.

AWESOME EQUINE CARE!The doctors and staff are wonderful! I've had horses with some major and minor problems that they have always been able to treat. The doctors are very personable! The staff is always helpful and caring. The 24 hour emergency service is an invaluable service I truly appreciate they offer.

We had to put down our 23 year old horse and called Waller Equine for their cremation services on a Sunday evening. The next day prior to picking the horse up they called to say that because if a 10 year old bill that was sent to collection (and more then likely written off) they would not cremate the horse. They referred us to another vendor that wanted to charge 3 times as much as Waller. My daughter called and begged them to reconsider and they said NO. So now my daughters first horse will be buried at a farm and not have his ashes.

Terrible vet office, not dependable and don't care about animals.A few months ago, I called to get help of evening on call vet there for my mare in labor. He wouldn't drive the 2 miles to the barn to check her out.No matter how hard I begged him to come over, had friends with me ask too. Even long time customers tried to get a barn visit but, nothing.Finally, after more hours of agonizing labor, my mare and new born foal almost out, died.Horrible place, emergencies are an important part of trusting a vet to be able to depend on them.These guys are bull artists when there is a emergency need. Don't trust them!!

I cannot express how grateful I am to Waller Equine Hospital and their staff! Dr. Boutros saved my horse Frederick's life will emergency colic surgery. The staff was so kind, compassionate, and informative regarding the loads of questions I had during his stay and afterwards. They went the extra mile during a non related injury he experienced during his rehab. Meghan, the office manager, called every vet that serviced my area to get Frederick treatment, then without luck, Dr. Boutros personally drove an hour and half to my farm to treat Frederick. That was going WAY beyond the call of duty. Frederick's surgery and recovery have been top notch and I attribute it to the excellent care we received from the people associated with Waller Equine Hospital. I deeply appreciate the fact that we have access to such a high-quality equine facility with a dedicated staff. THANK YOU from the bottom of our heart, Sonya and Frederick

Way over charges, and still Misdiagnosed my horse causing a lot of unnecessary pain and discomfort. Then for 2 months would not return my calls regarding the bill. Now have to dial *67 just to get them to answer the phone. Very rude and unprofessional regarding a matter where I still ended up losing my horse, no compassion from any of them at all.

I called this evening around 8:30 to have my mare picked up and brought to the hospital. After going through the process I was told I needed a card on file before they could head my way. I called back with the card and then the vet called and asked for more info about what was going on. After our discussion she told me they would call on their way and before they get there. A few moments later I got a call saying they were not going to be able to come get my mare because they were understaffed and that they were not allowed to be on the road after 8 pm. I asked why this was not told to me before and she did not have an answer for me. I became very upset after the person on the phone gave me a number for a small animal clinic, a clinic that no longer exists and a hospital 3 hours away. Then she hung up on me and refused to answer my calls.

In regards to the gentleman that said the staff is rude and the owner cursed at him. 1. This man doesn’t even own a horse 2. A member of his staff is his ex. 3. He brought police to the facility during business hour for a personal vendetta against said ex.
