One star... because we stopped by in need of a couple of 12 Volt Gate batteries for a Waller customer that needed them, and the ACE owner or employee denied attending us because his cash register was closed at 6:10pm when the store hours posted on the door posted 6:30... we told him kindly to change hours on doors and he rudely told us to go home... super bad business and manners.. smh

I wish corpus christi still had an ace hardware like this place. They have everything you could want for soing stuff around the house, and stuff for other things tou are soing like going to the lake, boating, etc. The staff were all polite and friendly. My wife talked us into an electric nail gun and some other stuff that sure seemed priced well

Came in today for some hose repair kits and on the same aisle there was a sprinkler head that was at a very good price. I checked the item, name, and info with the tag and price. The price was $16 and some change but when I got to the checkout line the sprinkler head ran up $21.99. I told the man behind the counter about the error and didn't care. He said well it rang up $21.99. What kind of answer is that? The man should not be allowed to work in the customer service industry. If he hates his job he needs to go elsewhere.I'm a contractor and I'm in the customer service business and I would never treat someone the way I was treated by this clown. I could have gone to Home Depot or Lowe's since I was closer to them but I love shopping at ACE simply because they have what I need most of the time. This review is not a reflection of the other people who work there but a reflection. To the bold clown that checked me out today.

Better than a toy store for kids.It's a playground for men and well, people in general.They have everything you could possibly want and need. The employees are very knowledgeable and polite.After seeing this place I will never go back to Lowe's or Home Depot.

Good prices on lumber. They are cheaper than Home Depot on most lumber. Have to call them for the prices, because the online prices for Ace are for branded lumber. They even load up your order.

Good stuff, nothing too special just hardware store stuff, but large selection, helpful staff, very helpful and friendly.It was like going back in time, the way it should be like shopping at a hardware store. Definitely not the same as the big box indoor lumber store feel.I highly recommend shopping here, everyone there seemed like they knew where everthing was and were willing do their job and offer assistance.

I spent over 12 mins on the phone speaking with an associate here to find a rare size of battery. He ultimately told me he had gone to the aisle and seen it. When I get to the store the battery was no where to be found. I located the associate who I spoke with on the phone and he told me “ I was 90% sure we had it, sorry” .Beware of bad info/ low motivation from some of the associates here.

I will never purchase anything from Ace ever again my husband and I brought a hot water heater on display from Hempstead, however there was a manufactory 2 year warranty and it was up to Waller to honor the warranty which they decided not to decision made by the manager in Waller.We were promised a call that NEVER happened we called several times.In my opinion that's very bad business.I will continue to shop in Houston,.

A great Choice for the home owner as well as business owner. The store has a great selection of items that should serve anyone's needs, from gardening to home repairs. I placed a online order that was filled quite quickly and the follow up after placing my order was on point. I received a phone call as well as a text msg and email informing me that my order was filled and available for pick up. The Ace hardware store was my first visit but want be my last great job.

Not one helping hand! Greeted on way in but invisible! Two women gabbing away while I stood their waiting patiently but they were more concerned with themselves so I finally left! I recently purchased materials to build a deck from Hometown Hardware, Waller, TX. In this case they were able to deliver my material within two hours and only charged $40.00 for the delivery. Also, I found their prices to be very competitive with other larger stores. My point is if you want great service and fair prices you are are missing the boat if you don't do business with Hometown Hardware. A few days later I purchased a lawnmower from them. Not only did they help me load it, they took it into their service department completely assembled it, filled it with gas and oil and made sure everything was working properly.Thank you Hometown HardwareSincerely,Larry G. For a small town this store has a lot of hard to find repair items. The store personnel are very helpful in finding what you are looking for or answering questions. The only issue I have is I purchased a chemical with a price posted as one thing and when I checked out it was 3 dollars higher. I called this to the attention of the clerk and they said they had printed out some new prices and they guessed it had not been posted yet. With that said BUYER BEWARE.

I go there for soil and for tools. The soil I get is some of the best i have found in the Houston area. Their succulent soil, the Pro Mix, is the absolute best I've found in the Houston area bar none.

A Fun Festival Party Rental

That was a excellent options by the variety of products, but today we had a very bad experience. We was buying one screen asked the price before they cut. When we go to pay the cashier see the photo that I showed about the ad price next to the screen, she said that only the Manager Jessica can change the price. Jessica in a extremal bad mood said that what I want, that is the new price, sent somebody to change the price in front of us, called the cashier that refers us to her, and stand up and asked the final amount at the “new price” without any words for us. Terrible service. They must change that lady.

Love going here, excellent selection, good customer service, the gime decor section is a great place to browse (I'd buy but I have too much stuff ) the guys in the yard aren't the friendliest and can be rude but they're efficient but inside employees are great. Nice small town experience.

Poor and poor service! Before the store closing hours, they locked one of the doors, I barely made in in 8 minutes before 6pm, and then they turned off interior lights on me. I just walked out. With this crew, I would be surprised how long they last. Disappointment.
