We love Rockwall Urgent Vet!!Our sweet baby vomited blood early Saturday morning. The nearby vets recommended 3 different urgent care centers. Rockwall Urgent Vet was further than the other two, but they had a better rating, so off we went.This was a decision we did not regret. The staff were friendly and patient. Our baby was so well taken care of. They explained every step and option and were very up front about pricing.Our baby is home resting and receiving lots of cuddles, all thanks to them.Thank you, RUV (kind of sounds like love).

If I could give them 100 stars, I would. The team here is extremely supportive and compassionate.We recently lost our beloved dog, Honey, on New Year’s Day. They were so kind to help guide us through the process.On the day of her passing, they gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye and explained the process well. They have gone above and beyond and I’m extremely thankful Honey had wonderful people who took care of her through this.Recently, we received a wonderful letter with lots of sweet notes from the team. My family is extremely thankful for this and I know Honey is also thankful too.Losing your best paw friend is hard but the amazing team at Rockwall Urgent Vet are the most compassionate and loving group of people you’ll ever meet. I took my sweet Bella (Shih Tzu) in today. She was sick to her stomach at both ends. I'm beyond grateful I took her here. The staff is excellent!!Christina checked us in and explained the entire process to us. We filled out paperwork, paid a deposit and were told after the doctor sees Bella we would be provided a plan of action and costs. I appreciate this. You know pretty much what you will be charged.Also if a pet emergency walks in the doctor would have to attend to that patient. This is great, I would want that for my pet if we would be in dire need.Lupe was our tech,we went over Bella's history and her symptoms. She took Bella to the back and brought her back.Dr.Lomeli walked in and we went over a treatment plan.This place is amazing! They are so caring, I can't sympathize that enough. From the time we checked in to the time we left everyone is friendly and professional.Thank you so much for taking care of my sweet baby.

An absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you to this clinic for being exceptional. Our one-year-old cavapoo, Claire, ingested dental floss. With induced vomiting the dental floss came up and the entire experience from the time we got there until we left was no more than hour. The high level of professionalism and expertise is greatly appreciated.

My sweet Winnie is sadly a regular. She's a serial counter surfer and is usually here once every 6 months. I'm forever grateful to the entire staff for being so accomadating and swift anytime we need to come in. Christina is a sweetheart. She is so calm over the phone and informative, the technicians are highly knowledgeable. I think this time Karma and Sam took care of Win. And, anytime I speak with Dr. Lomeli it's like talking to an old friend. I know my babies are in great hands. Thanks again to the entire staff! My family and I are forever grateful for this facility. i took my dog to this place after he was hit by a car. the receptionist was perfect, and so was everyone else i talked to. my dog had to be put down, and the woman who euthanized him was very kind. it was one of the most difficult times of my life but she made it easier. definitely recommend going here if your pet needs to be euthanized.

Brought our Spicy Meatball to the clinic first thing on a Sunday morning. Reasonable prices for emergency care, sweet and kind staff that had my spicy little guy purring. Different treatment options and they let you decide and see the prices and give you time to figure it out and ask questions.Definitely helped me feel better too, knowing my sick little guy is going to be OK.

I took my dog there because he was attacked by another dog. He was tore up pretty bad. They came in and gave their spiel about doing this little surgery and that he should be fine. Never did tell me that after the skin could die and cause him an infection or anything like that. Three days after surgery, I had to take him back because this had happened and I had no idea what was going on. If I would’ve known before hand, I would’ve opted to put my dog to sleep, then put him through the pain trying to get him to recover. I paid out all this money for to pay even more money to have him euthanized. I feel like this and did not give me the information I needed to accurately make a decision on my dogs care and what would need to be done. On another note was very humane and I was happy with that. They need to do better about communication, letting people know what the chances are, and the odds are of the dog, making it or not making it and be honest.

After my husband and I picked up our dogs from the dog sitter (Keisha Turner of The Service Dog Team Academy) to find our golden retriever Brighton incredibly weak and dehydrated, we rushed her to the closest emergency vet we could find. I am eternally grateful we brought her to Rockwall Urgent Vet. ❤️ Despite Brighton having a temperature of 108, she survived thanks to the life saving measures by their incredible team of doctors and nurses. They answered all of our questions, sent us photos and videos of our sweet girl, and even let my husband and I camp out with her in the exam room for hours on end before they officially opened for the day. One of the staff members even held Brighton’s paw when she was anxious overnight 😭❤️ Thank you all again so much for saving our baby and showing her so much love until we could bring her home!!!

Had a scary moment with our Dutchie and these guys were great!!! Got us in quickly and were so calm and reassuring even with our high strung pup. Really appreciated the way they handled our concerns and explained all the options.

We came in Saturday evening, April 6, 2024. Our dog was in extreme pain. She was 14 and the entire staff were helpful and caring. She couldn’t be saved from all her tumors. We appreciated everything that they did. So much kindness and compassion from everyone. Highly recommended them for your animals needs.

My sweet boy was bitten by a copperhead snake while we were hiking on a trail. I called the nearest vet clinic to me, Rockwall Urgent Vet, and they immediately told me to come right in. They hospitalized him and got him the antivenin he needed in an efficient manner and short amount of time. They then kept him for a few hours to monitor for any reactions. My baby boy is home and safe with me now thanks to them. They took care of all of our needs and concerns and I am just so thankful they were there to save my baby. Thank you Rockwall Urgent Vet.

We've visited RUV twice since January. The first was very sad since we had to help our dog cross the Rainbow Bridge. This visit was for our new puppy and again, the staff was just great. They are kind, compassionate and professional. I can't say enough about trusting their knowledge and it's obvious how much they all love pets. I would highly recommend.

We have a boy with a lot of anxiety when it comes to going to the vet. He was having some upset tummy and our regular vet office couldn't get him in for an appointment for over a week. We brought him in and everyone was so nice and caring. He was a little morr anxious than usual being in a place that was brand new to him. But they were very patient and kind and made it very easy for him and for us! I highly recommend this office!

We brought our dog in because he got a thorn in his paw. We couldn't get it out and our vet was closed for the night. Everyone who worked there was efficient and friendly. Kept us informed on every step. Nice touch the voice message I received the next day to see how our dog was doing. The cost to remove just a thorn/meds was over $200. That is a bit steep, however, it is a business and we understand.

They took care of my Italian Greyhound after an allergic reaction to vaccines. They were friendly and helpful. Just know it will cost $160 minimum to see your pet before services will be rendered or any advice. After googling and YouTube the issue I saw it was normal and could have saved $230. But the peace of mind was cool.

I hope you never find yourself needing their services, but if you do this is a team of pure angel’s 😇. We lost our sweet Tigger last weekend and the help, guidance, and attention we received from this staff was like none we’ve ever experienced…from the first phone call until the moment they kindly let us out a side door to avoid the main waiting area. During our time of such loss and pain they treated us like we were their only priority. Today we received the sweetest card with individual, personal messages and words of comfort from each of them. We just don’t have sufficient words to say how much this touched our broken hearts 💔 😭

I had the unfortunate experience of having to take my baby girl Mia to the emergency room last night after she was attacked by another dog. I have to say that this process although was heartbreaking, and heart wrenching the staff at Rockwall Urgent Vet were warm and attended to my baby girl with what felt like this was there animal. Outstanding care for my Shiba Inu, Nori. She was treated with kindness and given lots of love overnight. They have a wonderful system where you can text for updates overnight about your pet they have in their care and they reply quickly. Will even send you a picture! I have never been more confident that my girl was getting the best care, especially for an emergency, in my life. Fantastic communication, excellent discharge information, and they even followed up with a phone call 2 days later. I am so GRATEFUL to the amazing emergency care provided to my little fur baby, my heart! Thank you so much from the very fibers of my being.

This place sucks. Got there around 11:15 pm. They dont close until 12. We were told they might not see us because “they were about to close”. Meanwhile my dog is having issues breathing as she’s saying this… There was also no one else in the waiting room. They reluctantly see us. They provide my dog with a steroid that suppose to solve his issue. I ask what to do if it doesn’t and I’m assured it will. As soon as we get home the issue returns and has been as such all night long where both pup and I can’t sleep. I knew as son as they rushed us so they could hurry up and close this was going to be the biggest waste of money. $200 later and the issue is worse than when I arrived. Dont take your dog here if it’s 11pm they are not going to pay attention to your actual concerns for your dog!

Our King Charles Spaniel, Ivy, snuck out of the gate as guests were leaving our home. She returned soon, but with a bad limp. We took her to Rockwall Urgent Vet and could not have been more pleased. The entire staff, from check-in to our departure were professional and very kind. Dr. Falen did a full check of Ivy and reported her condition to me in terms that were easy to understand. Choices on her treatment were explained without pressure. Costs were clearly stated, and there were no surprises. We left with meds and a good understanding of her injury and the treatment protocol. While I hope to never need an emergency vet again, it is comforting to know that Rockwall Urgent Vet is available.

No one wants to have to visit an urgent vet, but I highly recommend Rockwall Urgent Vet if the unfortunate event arises. They took great care of Kasher with his surgery, and you can tell they care about all the animals that come through. Still wish I could have gotten the picture I requested, though :p

My kitten got spayed in the afternoon from a different vet and they sent her home with a cone that was entirely too big. It was 10:30 at night and I was calling every emergency vet I could find just to get help. Rockwall answered and told me to bring her up there and they can put a surgical suit on her that I could just have. If it wasn’t for them, I have no idea what I would have done because my kitten kept chewing at her stitches all night long. These people truly care and I thank y’all for that!

My dog was pacing and panting (it was cold out) like something was bothering him. Nothing seemed visably wrong. It was a Sunday so I took him into RUV. Turns out that pets can also get a slipped disc or pinched nerve like humans.They took excellent care of him and got him feeling better immediately. I was so pleased to see him comfortable.
