Just the best! All of the staff is very friendly and so knowledgeable. We’ve never had a question they couldn’t help us with immediately. We booked a tour to see all of their private animals and our experience far exceeded expectations! Absolutely would recommend. Each of their animals receive great care and lots of attention

I would highly recommend Yox2 for your reptile needs. I purchased a veiled chameleon this past weekend without knowing a thing about them. The owner and staff patiently answered every question I had. I also purchased the enclosure as well. The next few days I would call and have more questions and they took the time once again to answer everything. I feel like I’m part of the Yox2 family now. This will be the place for my family and our reptile needs moving forward.

If you want a reptile that has been handled, well cared for and socialized, YOX2 is the place to go. Almost a year ago now, I got my precious beardie Rango from Shaun and Ty and I could not be happier. Ty handled her daily before I went and purchased her and out of the 4 I have, she’s my absolute favorite. Although my other 3 were rescues, she has the most relaxed, tolerating temperament of them all. They are hands on with their reptiles and that makes for success stories for the new owners.

Yox2 is THE place to get your reptile, arachnid, and/or invertebrate needs. Not to mention the staff there. They maintain their customer service while also making sure the animals are put first. We have made several purchases and never ONCE had an issue with the quality of species nor customer service. They also do tours for those who don’t have reptiles to enjoy a one on one encounter. I could go on and on.

Truly some of the most incompetent people I have ever trusted to care for my frog.I set a pickup date for Monday at 1 Pm. I confirmed this with the employee I paid. Come Monday, no one was at the store. They had decided to take the day off 6 hours early, and way before the time I had scheduled to pick up my frog. They did not leave anything on the door that said they were closed early. They made a post on Facebook and that was it. I waited for an hour and a half outside, hoping that maybe they were just on lunch break and I had just missed them. I finally got ahold of someone on their Facebook page who let me know I could come by the next day.I picked up my frog to find that her container looked like it was hosed down. There were mud puddles and clumpy soil. It looked like there was little to no care.Taking care of a frog is easy, and I would not trust them to do it.

All together the shop is good. Only issue I have are the hours and some attitudes and not know how to communicate properly. If it says you’re open till 6, stay open till 6. I see this shop at most as a mom and pop shop. For those who work past 3pm, you’d be better off going to Petco. One nice thing about a franchise, they’ll stay open later and on schedule. And if you don’t have social media, you’ll never know when this place closes till you pull up. Rather annoying when you pull up and it’s closed early, for the 3rd time in a week.. really? More often than not when I get off work, the shop has closed before 3pm.. Which sucks because I enjoy the shop and it was extremely convenient because it’s less than a min away from my jobs meeting location everyday. I’m very loyal, if I’m treated right, I’ll treat you right, and only shop there. Sadly, I’m sticking with a franchise. Would love to support a small place like this but in this situation, the franchise does a better job at catering to me.

I have seen many reptile shops over the years and this one is one of the best. I have collected reptiles and amphibians for years and have bought many healthy animals from this store. The staff is always pleasant and animals look great. They stock a variety of unique reptiles which I like.

If you're looking to get into exotics or just expanding upon your collection. This is the shop to be at. From an excellent selection to a staff that treats everyone like family.I've gotten quite a bit of the merch.They have some awesome cleaning products top quality feeders and all the reptiles are worked with on the daily.Absoutley a hidden gem!!

Since they moved from where they were originally located, the interior of the store has gotten so much better, BUT on now 3 different occasions within the last month they have been closed by at least an hour when their posted business hours say they should be open. I have also noticed other comments for the same thing has been noted. I doubt me and the other commenters are here at the same time on the same day.That is why i have only given 2 stars

Staff is amazing, super knowledgeable, I go there every week to get a feeder rat and end up leaving smarter. Good selection of critters and I recommend the reptile tour, great exhibit with awesome animals.
