I’ve never been able to trim my Natasha’s nails. My friend suggested sedation. I spoke with Autumn and she insisted I bring her by and give it a try at doing it without sedation. Autumn was so wonderful with Natasha. She was able to trim her nails with almost no problem at all. She is a dog whisperer and I’ve been back already and will keep going back.

I just want to give a big shoutout to Carol and Carie! They were extremely helpful and so sweet to my boyfriend and I. We came in yesterday shopping for our 2 new snakes we were adopting later that day. We were on a budget and needing tons of supplies for 2 tanks. Carol and Carie were knowledgeable about what was needed (feeder/accessories) and what the best deals were. Carol took the time to explain in detail the vital care program. We signed up for the program for both of our snakes and it saved us tons of money and we were able to stack the vital care coupons on top of the store discounts available. They both spent a lot of time with us to make sure our snake babies were taken care of. You don’t see this kind of customer service anymore where employees try to connect with customers and their needs. I feel blessed that we stepped into this location I highly recommend shopping here. You will not be disappointed! We will be coming back in the future.

I would like to thank Carie for her help. My cat has been struggling with Stomatitis and every time I went in there, Carie was there to help and give me good recommendations.She is a very kind and affectionate person. She recommended a vet clinic to me in Temple and that saved my cat’s life. Thank you so much Carie. You’re wonderful and we need more people like you at pet stores.

I wish I could give no stars. I had a dog grooming appointment I made 2 weeks ago. As I was in the parking lot of Petco ready to take my dog inside to get groomed. I get a call from a manager stating the groomer never showed up to work. I asked if they could still accommodate my dog since we were in the parking lot and this was 10 minutes before the appointment. I was told the only thing they could do is reschedule me for another day. Not very professional and I will not be rescheduling with them.

This is the most discusting dirty store I've been in. I tried to return a dog collar too big for my new puppy and was told I could only get store credit. I didn't want credit because in addition to being dirty it was poorly stocked and didn't have the right size. I asked Rod the General Manager for his bosses number. He gave it to me and I called. It was just customer service. I went back to Rod and he said he couldn't give away personal information. I said I didn't want personal information I wanted a regional manager's number. While waiting to talk with customer service about getting a refund I started taking pictures of how dirty the store was. Rod told me it was against Petco policy and I asked where that policy was stated. He didn't answer and I kept taking pictures walking through the store. A few minutes later, security walked up and asked me to stop. I told him I was on the phone with c/s and he went to check with Rod. He came back and said I was asked to leave the store. I did and waited outside until c/s said taking pictures of a store was not against Petco. I asked a clerk at the front of the store if he could call Rod outside. He showed up and I told him taking pictures was not against policy and then he said I was kicked out because I was being vulgar. I had not been being vulgar and security never once said anything about that being the reason why but Rod decided after being caught to change his mind. Well I then decided to be vulgar to him and then walked off. Security then showed up again as I was walking to my car. Rod is a lieing POS and runs the most discusting store ever. Petco should be ashamed at having their name on the outside of that place and I hope the regional manager sees how dirty and I'll stocked it is and fires Rod. Goto another store where you aren't afraid to let your pet walk.

Carol (Nutrition Specialist) @Waco location provided above & beyond not just educated us in choosing the right food products, but also in savings. We really appreciated it. Her knowledge in food nutritions was phenomenal. Look for Carol if you're @Waco store, she can answer you pretty much in everything. She is awesome blossom 😊Thank Much Carol 🙏

Watch EXPIRATION DATES!! Time after time after time, beyond EXPIRED CAT FOOD! check pics with date n time stamps vs what Im seeing on the shelf. To many to pull off the shelf this time! Shame on petco! I'll be reaching out to petco corporate this time (3rd time seeing beyond expired food at THIS location. When everytime I see it I tell them and they never ever fix it. I used to manage a pet store years ago. This is absolutely unacceptable at other pet stores. So why does this location keep doing it??

Buddy, our fur baby, loves it here so much! He's been getting the puppy spa package since he arrived and I have never had any problems. I was warned to not go to another well known competitor in town for grooming services. I did not know for myself where to take my precious little baby English bulldog pup. I have been very pleased with the service and the groomers' handling of #Buddy and feel very good about sharing our experiences with everyone.

Aurora is my dog Biscuit’s favorite groomer! She is kind and patient. Very attentive and gives detailed reports. I appreciate her so much! Sam, in grooming, is also wonderful! PETCO and local pup parents are so lucky to have them care for our “babies”.

All the reptiles are in terrible condition. Watched them slowly kill a tegu. Their live feeders for reptiles are all over a month old and dead. All the ball pythons are skinny with stuck shed. Extremely low humidity. All their reptiles are also extremely skinny. Wouldn’t recommend buying here.

The bettas at the store are horrible. The cups aren't full they aren't clean at all, the bettas are life less, some are dead, and some are to big for the cup.

Nice store and friendly workers. We purchased a $20 beta and all the necessities to go with it for my son. The fish 🐠 was dead by morning, but I called the store and they said they would replace it. Glad to know they will take care of their customers.

It was great a employee recognized me walking into the store because I have had three surgeries on my shoulder and I always ask him to pick up my45 pound dog food bag for me and before I could ask for help, he ask me, how can he help me?

What a day! VetCo clinic was very accommodating and hassle free to get shots and everything done. They usually have appointments but were able to get me on the wait-list to get it done today.Everyone was really nice, and gave some great advice on products I should be using, and nutritional advice on what I should be feeding my little furball. Shoutout to Carrie and Carol for all the help.Definitely going to be my go-to place, now that I found myself being a pet owner out of the blue!

Went in looking for socks for my pitbull woman was very helpful and showed me that they should fit his foot with no issues. Needed them to cover a sore on his pad until it heals. Amazing staff very friendly

This complaint is for grooming. I’ve been in between on getting my pet groomed between Petco and Dogtopia. The last time I took him to Petco, they shaved him bald. He’s a miniature goldendoodle. All of his pretty, curls were gone. The cut was inconsistent all throughout, in which you could see where they went alongside him with the clippers. Some spots were long, and some were short. Extremely sloppy and low quality cut. Not the consistency I’ve received with them previously. I left a review relative to this, and would you believe they said they “blocked my capability” to schedule appointments going forward for this? So, if you leave a bad review, they do this out of spite. Oftentimes, you’d expect a company to give you a call from a manager, etc. we are vital care premier members and I will not renew, nor do I intend on utilizing their services again. I only wanted to book this last time (upon discovery of being blocked) because I’m on my 8th free grooming with them. Extremely ridiculous (and concerning) that a store would block a paying customer (considering I have the monthly subscription) on the basis of a review. Aurora H. was the groomer, by the way. Again, she had always done great before this time, but the last cut was extremely low quality, lazily executed and disheartening for a pet parent. Lost me as a client.

Usually I love going into this Store & stuff and checking out the new stuff . However om this VISIT there WAS VERY LITTLE NEW ITEMS , hardly any pets anywhere and even the fish tanks were low on stock. Even the sale items were either way Overpriced or mismarked/ I'm not sure if this particular store was waiting for new shipments or just wanting to clear old stock. Regardless I was disappointed.
