I take both of my dogs here. One of my dogs is very pet aggressive due to trauma from previous owners; he is a rescue. The staff here is very understanding and accommodating. Friendly, concise, and always willing to answer questions. My pets love these people, you will too.

Since I moved to Waco in 2019, this is the only place I will take my 4 kitties. Dr Bruce Cox is amazing, caring and attentive. So is the office staff! They are very sweet and care about your pets. They called me numerous times to give me updates on my kitty while he had to stay for 2 days.

Northside Animal Hospital has great Veternarians technicians to take care of your fur babies. The Veternarians are knowledgeable and work out the best solutions and treatments. The technicians are caring, gentle with the animals. They also do follow up calls after a visit to see how things are going.

We had to have our precious toy poodle, Bella put to sleep. She was 15 years old with a failing heart and other age related problems. She was suffering and no hope for a quality life. Our doctor there is Dr. Bruce Cox. He is the most wonderful, kind, sensitive doctor we have ever known. He was Bellas doctor from her 8 weeks to her last breath. I give this animal hospital and all their staff applause for being there when needed. For being their with advice when you are worried about your babies. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. 💯

I have now been to this clinic 3 times and each time I fall more in love with the entire staff. Everyone has been so caring and supportive.....I believe they really care about the animals and their people and not just how to make the most money ( something I have experienced many times at other clinics..even though I definitely understand this is a business and profit it major...just shouldn't be the primary reason for being in my book anyway). Sorry I didn't discover them sooner.

Great vets, but hard to get an appointment for same day. They will work you in if they can and the entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The Drs are compassionate making quality of life versus treatment decisions for older or seriously ill pets.

Let me 1st say I have a high anxiety dog that gets very scared at vet visits. I explained this during the appt set up. I said she likely needs meds before going. I don't think they took me seriously and didnt try much to get on her level to calm her. They chose to take her to the back to administer a sedative as they felt she would be calmer away from us. A vet tech got nipped on her pinky finger and they reported the bite but NEVER told us that was happening until animal control called today saying my poor dog has to be quarantined at the humane society for 10 days. Never once did Northside tell us to expect that call. They laughed at the nip and the girl was like oh it's no big deal it was barely a bite. Now my poor dog has to be around new people alone for 10 days. Why was I not told the severity of the situation at the office? I never saw blood. The girl had the tiniest bandaid and blew it off when I asked her about it. Please be mindful if you have a high anxiety animal.

They provide exceptional vet care and boarding. Recently, our dog red snagged his ear on something that kept bleeding. They were able to work him in, and now he has stitches and a cone. I am grateful.
