My rating is based upon my interactions with the owner, Honey. I was already in the store when she came in the back door. She was extremely unfriendly. It sort of shocked me. I was unfriendly back. She then had a seat at her desk near the front of the store, never once even asking me if she could be of any help. I do not know how this very small store stays in business. I engaged her in conversation about Joanna Gaines and Fixer Upper. This got her attention. She apparently despises Joanna Gaines. She spent a lot of time making nasty comments about Joanna, including telling me that the only thing Joanna is going at is self-promotion. Without regurgitating all of the nasty comments, I will say that I was stunned. It would serve Honey best to say nothing at all than to tell a complete stranger such nasty things about someone else. It only came across as jealousy and showed a lack of good character. It told me every thing I needed to know about this business and its owner. I certainly will never go back.

On a visit to Waco, I went to Honey's Home+Style and found quite a gem in downtown Waco. The store is elegant, and exciting. Truly a classic. The owners, Honey and Jeff are professional, knowledgeable, and informative. It is pure quality furniture, bedding, lighting, and so much more for the home. There is also an impeccable selection of jewelry by artisans that would seek out stores of this quality. Their helpful decorating advice actually can transform ideas into reality while adding touches you did not know you wanted. Friends I have sent there could not say enough about what they found. I look forward to my next visit.

I just went to this store and I was greeted by a very rude middle aged lady, she should be fired and if she is the owner you will go out of business Waco is a very small town and there are far to many choices just like your store with the same furnishings. I said I found lamps for my night stand but did not want to spend as much as they were asking, I never said the price, and her response to me in her words "Then you probably do not want to shop here" and boy she was right when someone is that rude I would not give them a penny. Ladies do not support this behavior and shop else where.

YOU HAVE TO GO TO HONEY'S WHEN YOU ARE IN WACO. Hands down THE BEST store in Waco. I will personally guarantee that you've never been in a store like it before, nor will you regret going in there (besides the fact that you'll want everything in there and you'll probably be sad your house doesn't look like that). The store is amazing, Honey and Jeff are awesome, and you'll leave much happier than when you got there-- most likely with something pretty to show for as well.P.S. They're dog friendly-- in case you didn't think it could get any better, it just did.

My favorite shop in Waco on my visit there. I was so inspired by the owner of the shop. Her story impelled me to continue with my dream even though I too, am starting later in life. Her pieces are like art and everything in her shop is beautiful! Well done!

Honey's Home+Style is a must see in Waco if you are shopping for the finest home furnishings. Honey has an incredible selection of quality furniture, rugs, bedding, lighting, artwork and décor. Honey played a vital role in helping me select interiors for our new home construction. Honey and Jeff provide excellent customer service and have always helped me select items that fit our family's lifestyle. Honey and Jeff personally delivered our furniture and fixtures to make sure it was perfect in our home. The store is hands down the most beautiful store in Waco for home furnishings.

I agree with all the one star reviews. I kid you not, as soon as we entered the store, the owner Jeff quizzed us on why we were there and made fun of us for visiting Magnolia Market, calling it and I quote,”A big WalMart.” Then we were asked how we heard about the store and we explained through a blog. Jeff said,”Well we don’t get on the internet, we don’t read reviews, we aren’t on FB.” But they are....hmmm? They preceded to follow us around like we may be thieves. 🙄 They need to practice kindness and get rid of all jealousy that was obvious when referring to,”The Big Walmart.”

Empty promises, owners are rude and condescending. Practically everyone who's been in Honey's knows Honey is rude. Unfortunately Jeff Rader is no different. The sad part is Honey tried to be nice the first half hour we were in the store, but her true, rude personality came out the last half hour -- and that's with us making several purchases. Jeff needs temper control and customer service training. When we called two weeks after a product was supposed to have arrived, he jumped down our throats saying, "I cannot control Fed Ex...what do you expect me to do?" Really, Jeff. Funny you cashed our check before the product arrived, but you did not initiate any follow-up. Oh, by the way, Honey's is closed on Mondays, and Jeff proactively volunteered this information to us more than once, "I don't work on Mondays, and I don't check email." Good to know, Jeff.

My fiancé and I found this store while looking for a particular style shelf for our new baby's nursery. When we first walked in, the gentleman up front would hardly speak to us. We walked around and after not finding anything similar, I decided to ask him for help. I asked if he had ever seen something similar and he WOULD NOT SPEAK TO ME. The woman working in the store came up and said that she had not seen one in her store and the gentleman STILL would not acknowledge that we were standing RIGHT in front of him talking to him.I'm not sure if it's because we are young, if he assumed we didn't have money, or if it is because we are interracial but I have NEVER felt so out of place and so humiliated. While they have beautiful products, I would discourage anyone close to me from shopping there. It was humiliating to be around other customers and to be so blatantly disrespected.

I wouldn't know if the store is nice or not because I was asked to leave simply because I had a small drink, with a lid mind you, in my hand. Also keep in mind I am 40 years old and had come two hours to purchase something. Needless to say I won't be back and I did not appreciate the nastiness with which I was greeted upon entering. Get over yourselves!

Beautiful store, but the individuals/owners(?) who were working were so rude and followed me and my friends around like we were petty thieves. Will never return. We had a lot of money and were prepared to spend it - took our business elsewhere.

I am usually not a person to take the time out to write a negative review. But.... Wow! Me and my family walked around the store only to be monitored by the workers/owners. I have never felt so out of place. Very disappointed. Everyone at work talked so highly about this place.
