Good for grabbing last minute items or something you forgot while at the grocery store. Typically only 1 checkout with cashier is open in addition to self checkouts. Pay close attention to prices on self checkout. Frequently will not give the on sale price and has to have an override. They have a little bit of everything and stay open pretty late.

Awesome clerks and superb selection of items. A different kind of store similar to a small mom and pop convenience store with a small selection of fresh produce and frozen/refrigerated items as well.

I'm very grateful for this store being out here near our home because there is not a grocery store for miles. And it's the only public place I've been in since the pandemic hit 8 months ago.The only reason I took a star away is because there is always one employee who wears their mask on their chin. However, they are always very friendly.

Usually has good produce in stock, and it's a great place to grab snacks and drinks. Super convenient location and always has good deals.

I really am glad this store is here. My experiences here as a consumer have always been good. Let me tell you, in a land where grocery stores are desolate, this Dollar Genersl is a breath of fresh air. The people are friendly and it's always clean. I have yet to find expired food on the shelf and as far as general items, they always seem to have most everything we need.

I like the space, not small and squishy like alotta other dollar general. They have a huge clothing section at this one. Workers were very friendly, store was clean. I feel it has a bigger selection than most.

It's nice having a smaller catch all kinda store to get what you need without having to go all the way into a bigger town. The cashier's are nice & get you out in a timely manner.

This store started out as a wonderful addition to our community. It was clean organized and well stocked. Of late, it has become trashy, dirty, and extremely unorganized and not well stocked. I'm not sure if they have changed management or what the problem is.

So it's a dollar general so for most part it's normal and just there. Why did I bother to write / give a review? Why 4 stars? The staff. The employees here are super nice and have always been chipper.

The employees are rude and you never see the same person twice. That had a big sign for sale on tools half off went to ring it up came up at full price like all their sale signs. They said it wasn't on sale anymore pulled the sign and wanted to charge me full price. I can't wait for a good store to open in China Springs.

I really like these stores, especially this particular one. They are always friendly courteous and helpful however not to the point of being stalkers. This is one of the bigger franchises so has quite large selection of refrigerated, frozen and dry good groceries. Wide choices for frozen meats meals and ice cream. Beer and wine selection good as well..in addition to that can fill your needs with clothing, dry good product, household, decorating, crafts, gifts, cards, hair care, personal care, over counter meds, baby gifts and everyday care snacks, gifts, entertainment and even assists if you need a phone. No long lines always several registers open. Clearsnce also and many times closer yet more conveint than large grocer lower prices accepts coupons

Everyone here is great except there store manager- he's grumpy to the point of being rude. His employees make up for it by being sweet and helpful. VERY clean for a Dollar General!

The manager is a dirty nasty man that cant keep any help. The store got really dirty but they finally cleaned it up some. I feel sorry for the help he treats them poorly and they have a high turnover rate. They dont take their sale price off items so when you go to pay its more than advertised. They dont care.I tried to buy a shovel on sale just to find it that it really wasnt. I called corporate office and they didnt do anything.

Updating to one star. Masks are manditory in all businesses in the state, yet this DG has chosen not to require their employees to wear masks. I sometimes see one with a face shield or with the mask under their nose, but today the young lady checking me out didn't even bother to wear a mask at all. When I asked about it even siting the sign right in front of the register saying masks were required she just scoffed at it and pushed me long so she could get to the next customer. I know of a few who have made similar comments about this DG. Please follow the mask mandates... it only takes one person to infect many, and if these cashiers get infected they could spread it to countless others -- something wearing a mask could help prevent. This has been my DG of choice for years, but I will drive to Target or HEB instead now.

Didn't run in for much today. One thing about this particular Dollar General is that it is almost impossible to walk through the door without being greeted by an employee. That's a rare thing these days and I appreciate it very much.

The dollar store was okay messier than most but all of them are messy they do do a good job of putting stock in front of the shelf where they're supposed to be they also give you time to use your digital coupons at the register which is very nice

A decent place to pick up some necessities. Some things are pricier than at HEB or Walmart, but it's worth it for convenience. Pricey items, and so-so customer service drop it a few notches.

By far the best Dollar General I have ever been in. You could do a full on grocery shop at this store. Definitely makes up for not having an HEB in China Spring

Dollar General in China Spring is friendly, stocked well, and easy to navigate. Lines are often long and the overstock items clutter the center of the store making it harder to get to items.

This place is not like most dollar generals. The staff works hard to keep the place neat and organized. Prices are good but items are sometimes poor in quality.

All Dollar General stores are not created equal and this one is an exceptional store is very well organized always extremely clean and you seem to have them more and better stuff I highly recommend it
