We went to have our battery checked. We did purchase the battery at this store, yet several employees asked us where did it come from.Usually they come right out with a tester, and tell us if it's good or bad. This time they said they didn't have any testers to use and that we would have to come back another day.This is not a good experience if this store wanted repeat business.I won't go back

Been to both stores in Waco in the last 2 weeks. My experience has been less than pleasant. Poor customer service, poor response to questions, no knowledge from employees. The employees even comment about the cashier's knowledge of product and lack of training. I have no intentions of shopping at these stores again. My time is very valuable to me and I do not want to spend it waiting on someone to help me. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I love this place! I wish there was one closer. Really great place to find things you just can't find anywhere else. From their boot clothing selection to items for the home and garden it's a great place to find things you just can't find anywhere else.

We shop all the time at Atwood’s but not anymore. There is a young lady, (red head/nose ring) cashier that might be the most the most unhappy on the planet. She is put out if she has to help someone, if you have a question, or if something goes wrong at register. Today I watched her rudely tell a man with a return “get in line”. Every time someone ask to record your purchases she is put off - “there’s no tax!” (Feed stores offer this as a record for the farmers for tax reasons)On the other hand there is a lady in clothing, a man in guns and most of the young men are pleasant and helpful.

We shop here for our ranch needs. Atwood’s has just about everything we could need for cows, horses and our dogs. Prices are competitive and the people are always friendly.

Nice store, they have a lot of good stuff. The staff is nice but just not in a hurry I have been to two different locations in both times. It took about 25 minutes for someone to come. Help me in the gun section I still give them a good review because of everything they have and they are nice.

02/02/2024; stopped into Atwoods for two things- purchase honey bee supplies and ask a question about a rifle. The shelves in the bee section were in disarray with several items not marked or priced. I went to the register to ask them to send somebody to help me- the young clerk had the deer in a headlight look. I am waiting nearly ten minutes and still no help. I decided to take my business elsewhere.In looking at the reviews below, there is a constant theme of poor customer service at this store, and that was exactly my experience today. I can see why many customers use TSC instead, they actually provide customer service.I don't blame the employees, this is a management problem; who has not adressed others complaint about poor customer service.

I dropped 3 chainsaws off the middle of Oct. I was told it would be 3-4 weeks before they would be looked at. I decided to not contact them about the saws until the 1st of Dec. The first part of Dec I drove over (35) miles and when, after a long wait, an employee went to the back. Came back out and told me they were being worked on and parts ordered. He took my number and told me the tech would not be back for two days but that he would have the tech call me. I waited 5 days and did not hear from them. I contacted corporate office and laid out my problem. I got a call the next day. Employee Freddie, began pursuing getting my chainsaws ready, I recieved numerous phone calls keeping me up to date on my saws progress. Freddie has my appreciation, and the store should know that Freddie is the only reason I will continue to have my saws serviced at ATWOODS. !!!Kenneth Forrester

Service is terrible. Stand in line for 20 to 30 minutes and won't open another cash register. Love shopping here, but I hate check out. Christmas season is not the time to be short cashiers.

I’m not just bashing Atwood’s. This is what really happened, I’m not just bein a jerk.Terrible experience. Had to wait at the gun shop for 20 or so minutes just for an employee to show up then waited another 30 mins for background check that got flagged. Ok not there fault. So I wait for a phone call to come pick up the gun.Update**No one ever called to let me know my gun was ready to be picked up. I had to call Atwood’s 3 or 4 times then finally someone got back to me after 2 weeks of waiting. They tell me I’m clear to pick up the gun, at this point I’m out of state and can’t get there. Today I get a call inquiring about if I still wanted to pick up the gun I said yes… I drive an hour to the store and now my background check is expired and they can’t even run another check because there computers are down. This overall has been the worst experience I have ever had buying anything.

My husband went this morning and he saw this item for $159.99 and when he went to pay it rang for $399.99 but I think it was there mistake for putting it on the wrong place plus he asked one of the employees if that was the price and the employee said yes so I feel like they should’ve honor the price they had on it there excuse was that customer move things around but it didn’t looked like it was on the wrong place.

They miss the customer service part of business. I commented to an assistant manager that products all over the store did not have pricing. I asked if there was a pricing manager or person that handles stocking. His comment was "I don't know what to tell you". And yet they succeed anyway! Nothing changes!

These Kennels@ ATWOOD'S ARE SO EASY TO DO no tool's and about 30 minutes each and Sherry Scholes of Zeus and Friends canine rescue, put's the finishing touches on on her first kennel's.
