Have been to this store a few different times over the past year for a few random things. Every single time the front desk woman has been rude (even over the phone). Unprofessional to the point that I will no longer be a customer unfortunately……Update to owners response - This was not regarding a chicken sale So that must have been a different customer. However, I don’t believe it’s acceptable to be rude to people because your short handed. Also, the times I was there in person there was no other customers in the store. There was no reason for the attitude from “being busy”. Being polite and helpful goes a long way. Thanks.

Very rude people working here. I had pointed out to the young man the parakeet that I had wanted. I had showed him twice. He put the bird in the pet box without me getting the chance to make sure he had grabbed the right one. When I got home, and got the bird into the cage, I was able to see that the incorrect one was given. I called and was rudely told that I could not return the parakeet nor would they give me the right one unless I purchased it. It was their mistake. To reach a solution, they could have offered the right bird or offered a discount on behalf of their mistake. I called the owner and he said the manager said she was there the whole time. That was a lie. The owner himself admitted that there was no way for the box to be opened to view the bird once it was sealed. Unfortunately, the manager kept stepping outside to play on her phone. Very unprofessional. The young man appeared to be autistic and slow. He should have had someone there helping him. They didn't even give me a receipt for the purchase I made so that I couldn't return the bird if it gets sick. They put the mistake on the customer so that they don't have to fix it. They have lost a good customer because I have purchased hamsters, degus, and ferrets from here. I'm better off paying more at PetSmart because they are honest, true, and helpful.

This is the most friendly ag shop in Victoria, the Owner/manager is very helpful and informative and goes above and beyond to meet her customers needs! 10/10

No curb appeal....what's outside tells you what it's like inside. Blah service, blah products, blah I had to come to work today, get what you need and get out kind of blah. At least have someone yell out welcome! Even if they don't mean it....by the looks of this store, they wouldn't have to yell it out that many times. A little more pride in what they offer their customers could go a long way. A smile would help also.

I purchased a bunny on Saturday April 18. I was assured she was in good health. She was very sweet and not skiddish like the other bunnies. On Monday night, April 20, she had dark orange urine, which can be normal. On Tuesday, April 21, I realized she had a slight bleed from her vent. I called several vets in the area and no one does "bunny care". On Wednesday, April 22, she was still eating and drinking, she was still hopping around and playing with me. She had two small amounts of runny poop, but considering she was still active and not having any other problems or changes in behavior, I thought this might be due to change in enviroment and the fact that I was adding green leafy veggies to her diet as she had been on pellets at the store. At lunch today, I was holding her and feeding her. She had a seizure. I went out to the van, got their number and called. I told the lady who answered who I was and that I had bought one of the bunnies on Saturday and told her what had happened. I asked her if she knew of any history with the breeder. I was told the breeder is reputable and has show rabbits. I asked her if she knew of a vet since I had called and no one could assist me. She said no and to try to give Kaopectate or Amoxcillin to her. I went back into the house while still on the phone with her. When I walked in, I saw my bunny had died. I told this to the lady on the phone and she said she was sorry. There was no offer of anything to replace the bunny or anything. I do not want the money back nor do I really want a different one. I liked this one and bonded with her. If you are considering purchasing a live pet from here, make sure you know the live animal return policy before you purchase.

I bought feed from them. Went home and the the feed was FULL of MOLD. Went back to tell them their feed is full of mold and they were extremely rude and refused to do anything about it. Do not buy feed here.
