I found this gem on my way through to az. I was so tired and couldn't drive any longer. This has been a very comfortable relaxing nice stay. The room is really nice and the bed made me go into a coma (good thing). It's very quiet and right next to a convenient store. Thank you to the owners. I really needed this to recharge my batteries!

This is the halfway point of our trips. We stayed here a few times on are trips. We like it because of the Wyndham points. Each time we stayed here their still needs to be work done, the rooms need updated and more of a selection of rooms instead of two beds the room has about a foot of walkway between the bed and bathroom entrance and the breakfast and lobby area could use a good update. The last time we stayed about a year ago the drive way and parking lot needed repairs and they got it done. Still need to update one hole side of the property and this could be a really nice hotel.

Don't stay here if you can help it. My room continues to have flies. The hot water does not work. They did not leave toilet paper in my room after cleaning. When I tried to call to get a different room, they told me I could just find a different hotel, because they can't do anything about flies. Then offered a fly swatter. This is horrible.

Even though the room was non-smoking, it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. I had to run the A/C all night to try and lessen the smell. Room furnishings, bathroom, etc. we're fine. The price was reasonable. Front desk clerk was very nice and helpful the night I checked in, but the next morning when I went to check out, no one was there. I wanted to tell them about the very smoky room. I went three times to the front desk over the course of an hour or so. I called out, knocked on the door, motioned and spoke to the Ring doorbell, but no one answered. It was very frustrating.Rooms: Non-smoking room, but smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. To the point it likely would have bothered someone with allergies or who gets headaches/migraines from the cigarette smell.

Special thanks to this Hotel and staff. Coming from Florida we stayed here for a night to stay safe from a winter storm on our way to Vegas. We had a few dogs and they were accommodating and understanding. We called several hotels in the area and they either said no or wanted to overcharge. Place is clean, lots of towels and great TV. Safe and comfy and dog friendly- you can’t beat that. Thanks Again

I had booked a room through Priceline, and somewhere between A and Z it was booked for the wrong date, I called the day after booking to try and speak to someone about getting this changed, canceled or what all my other options were and Super 8 was very unforgiving and would not do anything to help me correct the issue so we were out the $$ for the room, and still had to rebook. I did first reach out to Priceline and spoke with them, but ultimately they said it was in the hands of Super 8 and they would have to be the ones to correct the issue. Based off customer service alone, since with the wrong booking date we never actually stayed, I would not recommend.

We came in room, I spilled drop of water, wiped it up, wash rag was black! Wyndham motels customers service is really starting to go down hill!no one cares about the pride of their customers services. People not doing their jobs! We’re truckers, wyndham is where we stay most of the time! Sorry to see you going down hill!Rooms: It’s gotten to the point where they’re all disappointing. Can’t walk barefooted, dead flies on floor, crickets in the bathtub! Just a place to lay head. Better than hot sleeper in the summer!

The stay was nice. The room was clean and sanitized. Check in was simple. The bed was super comfy. The shower pressure was awesome. The hot water lasted for 2 showers. The room included a microwave and mini fridge. I had a trailer and was assigned a parking space by the clerk. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because someone hit my truck😢😢😱.

It really needs better upkeep. Staff were very attentive and prices were appropriate for the condition or would have given it a one. The ladder into the pool was at the deep end and needs to be at the shallow end. If I could have gotten into the pool, I would have added another star. The food at the restaurant was awesome.

Great room for its price point. Very clean, modern flooring (no nasty old carpet), recently painted, very hot water, fridge and microwave. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk employee. Exactly the room I needed on a long trip.

This hotel is in a low budget area of town, so beware of that, but the room itself wasn't bad.There was a needle (drug use) in the parking lot, and "very friendly" gal hanging out in the parking lot seeking out a male companionship.The room is not bad, honestly, but the area, curb appeal, and town location leaves something to be desired.(Mind you this was $71 plus tax in the summer of 2021, so in the world of hotels, this is, yes, cheap..... 🤷🏼‍♀️)

Checkd in late during a cross country trip. Was super tired and just needed to get some rest. Paid for room and went to park the car, parking lot was full so had to park the car (a rental) in a bit of a precarious place. Was a bit nervous about that, but didn't have much choice. Room was decent and clean. Basic, but usable. My main issue was the beds. Tried both in the room and just could not get comfortable. Beds were lumpy and creaky. Granted I did not have a reservation and just stopped in, so could have gotten the last available room. Was a guy drinking and yelling over the phone in the parking lot around 1 am. Pass through the area a couple times a year travelling and will look elsewhere for a nights stay in future.

The worst Super 8 I have ever been to. Bugs all over my room. Housekeeping has door open to clean, which allows bug to crawl and fly into the room. They didn't vacuum or sweep dead bugs out of the room or even the ones in front of door. I was checking on availability and was told we already booked your room. Now I wasn't due to check out yet so I should have had opportunity to stay before telling I had no options. This place is falling apart, needs work interior and exterior look bad as if no one cares. For super 8 standards this is so far off the mark.

I almost never give bad reviews. We called 30 minutes ahead of time for a room. We arrived about 8:00 p.m. When we got up to the room it was a hundred degrees in there. They turn their ACS off when nobody's in the room. It took until midnight to even get the room cooled off. I was happy they had a chair in front of the AC that I could sit in. Then at 8:30 in the morning the maid knocks on my door I jumped up because it was a seady part of town. She said she thought we had left already. What are they doing cleaning rooms at 8:30? They only have about 30 rooms at this hotel. Do they knock on everyones door to get them out faster? The GFCI in the bathroom was ripped out of the wall, barely atached i found out when i tried to make coffee. They did offer 10% off. Thanks $10 bucks totally made me feel better. I could have gotten that if I showed them my AARP or good sams card. $100 bucks a night with my dog. So i paid $90 for a hot run down room and a wake up call i never asked for.

Would highly recommend this place! Clean rooms, bathrooms were very spacious, they have the Texas Waffles for breakfast!! :) Overall you can tell they genuinely care for their facility. If coming back through this way again, I would go out of my way to stop here again as my stopping point for the night.

I have been traveling for weeks and stayed at many hotels. I was going to say you get what you pay for but I paid the same price for other hotels while traveling and they were very nice. I only gave them a two because they haven’t done much to improve their rooms, the hotel is not kept up. The bed was ok. The breakfast bar was sparse with little options. If you have dietary limits good luck with this place. I wish I had traveled a little more down the highway to The next town.

Check in was simple and fast, I had no reservation, just decided to get off the road for the night. My room was super clean! Very nice with lots of space. The tv was not working at first so I called to the front desk and a lady came down promptly and fixed it in less the 2 mins! I am very impressed to be honest. Paid $80.00 after tax for 1 night. This seemed very reasonable to me. The only downfall is, you can hear the noise from the main highway and I heard 2 trains so far. But it's ok with me personally because I'm from Denver Colorado so I'm use to noise. But to some this could be a nuisance.

Very nice and clean. The young lady at the counter very pleasant and helpful. She even came to our room to help with the remote. Although the room was hot when we arrived, it didn't take long to cool off. It was over 100 outside.

First off we are rv type folks, very rarely staying in hotels. Recently a trip to Denver from Houston came up unexpectedly, an with rv in shop it was hotel time. After passing through Amarillo we started calling hotels,,,At 6 pm all hotels between Amarillo and Vernon were booked,,,we fely lucky to get last room at stop 8. The room was great, good choices with movie channels on tv an quick bk in office....what makes the 5 star is the staff...we left our very favorite pillows there an did not realize till we got home that night. Night person said they were there when we called,,,the manger called us next morning an 4 days later the pillows were home....she was great an we can only really appreciate her taking care of us,,,,if ever in Vernon with out the rv we will stay here

My friends and I were deadbeat after the long drive and needed a place to rest. Luckily, we stopped at the Super 8. A nice, cool room welcomed us and despite the aged look of the building, the room itself looked fresh. Though there could have been a little more variety on the Tv. A fair place to stop for the night, would stay again.

Only place available on our way through town. For the price and location it was perfect for just the night. The parking is horrible, though. People parking on curbs, in handicap, on the grass. Air conditioner is from the 80s. Beds are comfortable though and, once again, perfect for the night.

I walked in to a hot room and immediately turned on the AC. I turned to see my dog chasing crickets in the room. I went to take s shower and there were bugs in the tub in the wall. I tried to wait for the room to cool off but it didn't. So I called the front desk, the woman was very friendly and said can I come up. After she checked it out she asked if she could bring a fan to sit in front of the AC. Sure, I said ( I was so tired) well that didn't work and as I was laying there I noticed sprays of something on the wall next to the bed! I packed up and ran out of there! Horrible dirty nasty!

At check-in they couldn’t find me in the Wyndham rewards program. Room A/C was unplugged in August so the room was hot. Room had many live and dead bugs to include roaches, crickets and flies. I had to flush food down the toilet that got compromised and remove my other food and trash before going to bed. The hotel caters to weekly utility workers.

This budget conscious option for lodging had a few rough edges. Yes, it was cheap. The AC was very slow to cook the room. There was body hair on the floor in my bathroom. Besides the breakfast being meager, the bread to make your was very hard and stale.

A little to much money. It's more like a $50.00 a night room. But it was spacious, clean, ac worked great. Beds are older but comfy. Staff very friendly
