My friend asked me to find a place to stay in the middle of the night because he was too tired to continue driving to CO. I saw the reviews & called to get eligibility. The lady was courteous & had great customer service. When my friend finally arrived & checked in, the moment he sat on the bed, the headboard fell over, there were body fluid stains on the covers. He immediately went to the front desk & was given a 2nd rm...that one had flying bugs & possibly fleas bc his legs immediately swelled from insect bites. I sent an email asking for a full refund. After a few days, I was informed that they were keeping $50. to sanitize the linens that were already soiled with bodily fluids AND the response to the flying insects in the room..." that's just the way it is here." Needless to say, another hotel nearby didn't have those same insects in their room.Mind you the lady was only doing what her Manager told her to say.UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

Checked in late on a summer day. Rooms was hotter than outside. Bugs filled the room at night. If you called ahead and if they could run the ac before you got there to cool the room down the maybe be alright. Rooms wasn’t terrible if your a working man. Room took 5 hours to cool down with a good ac. Some wasn’t as good. Wouldn’t bring my family here. Cheaper motel for a company, doable if the rooms are pre cooled. Parking sucks.

Great place to stay on a budget. Really nice folks and they serviced my room every day. Older hotel but they really go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay.Will definitely be staying with them again next time I visit the area.

Unfortunately this was our favorite older motel to stay in, however this time the room was infested with crickets...... They actually were jumping into the bed with us. And when I went to the bathroom there were 10-15 all over the floor...... I peed elsewhere!!!! When management was told of the situation, there was an "I'm sorry"...... No refund or voucher of any kind was offered. We will NEVER stay here again!! Sorry you've made your own bed "Lonestar Inn"

This location is not disability friendly. We were turned away and not allowed to check in because of our service dog. We explained he was a service dog, and they acknowledged they knew he was, but still refused us service. They had rooms available, but the rooms that “pets were allowed” were not available. We told them that is against the ADA, but they ignored us and refused to give us a room. If you want to run a business, learn the law first. We eventually got a room at Hotel Vernon, and are very happy with their service.

Will definitely stay here again! The rooms are big, super clean, smell great, cold A/C in middle of summer. Friendly staff. Pet friendly. A great find in Vernon, TX. I’m glad the Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn were booked because we otherwise would not have found Vernon’s hidden gem.

Excellent hotel for the money. Would give it 5 stars if it weren't for all of the noisy long-stay residents, the dog barking in the room next to us and the super hard pillows. Cleanliness of the room would get 5 stars, however. Our 2nd stay here and will always stay here when we visit Vernon.

Okay, there are good reviews here and clearly someone associated with this place is trying to do good. The rooms were cleaned, but that doesn’t over come the disrepair. Our room had water damage on the ceiling and Sheetrock tape was hanging down. Lots a traffic at night, with lots of really loud bass that kept us up until about midnight (it was, to their credit, a Saturday night). Office was dirty and the “business center” was missing the computer monitor and was dusty as all get out. The online advertisement and the signage outside stated “hot breakfast.” The person working the counter told me that they were not serving the hot breakfast “cause COVID.” It’s been two years since COVID started…maybe you date the advertisement materials? Finally, there was what looked to be long term housing in the back. Broke down cars, feral cat, and all.All in all, we will not return. It just wasn’t much of a family-friendly place. That said, it may work for others and, as I said, someone is trying here, but they have a mountain to overcome to make it a place where I would be comfortable staying in again.

There's a room on the lower floor towards the back that smells like cat urine right as you walk in. It doesn't go away. Thank goodness the front desk gal was kind to change our room. We were given a cleaner room. Thank you. The front desk gal was nice.

Old property that has not been upgraded. Room walls, furniture and mattresses were were stained and our room had a strong smell, probably a smoking room previously. Continental Bkfst was ok, all carbs. Location was convenient being right off the interstate but with exterior doors, thin walls and single pane windows the road noise was bad all night long. Had some rooms to sleep six for our family. Service was very friendly.

Quite surprised for a Days Inn, I know it's not the Hilton but property is not appealing at all when arrived. It feels like a hotel off the highway stuck back within an industrial area The pool was empty and also no appeal whatsoever...off to the side with just fence around it and a over grown mess. The room was extremely outdated...furniture and all...stains on the furniture...furniture nicked and scratched up...just a "very dark dingy outdated room". Room has not been freshly painted in years...obvious!!!Air conditioner did not work right...I did not have it on "auto" I had switched it to just the ON setting so room would cool...run for a few minutes...shut off...run for minute...shut off !!!A Friend stayed 1 minute away at the Holiday Inn Express...she paid $92 a night and the room was like a room at the Hilton...I paid $70 a night and was disgusted with the property...

Good place for the price. Large clean rooms. Air conditioning is ok. Very close to Walmart. Free WiFi. The only negative thing I have to say is the breakfast is horrible. The orange juice dispenser hasn’t been cleaned since I’ve been here, a week.

Mr clerk was extremely nice and professional. Quite helpful. I was able to wash clothes, get my quarters and laundry soap, anddddd even print out a paper I needed for business. Very convenient. Thanks so much for making this my one stop shop!!! And be sure to visit Rays fish n wing place next door, (go in on the bar side)

The place is ok, but we were looking forward to a nice dip in the pool arriving in 100 degree heat. Once we got out to the pool we found a dilapidated structure that looked like it hadn't been used since my eldest granddaughter was born and she is now 11 years old. The six year old started to cry. The website lists and shows a picture of an outdoor pool. Very disappointing!

For a Days Inn, this was the most disgusting place I've been in.The bathroom was filthy with grime not only on the floor, but the walls as well. When i tried to turn the hot water on in the sink, it was short of a drip. The ceiling in the bathroom looked as though it could fall in at any time, the carpet was a bit sticky.... NEVER AGAIN will we stay here. I wish i would have taken pictures to share.In the future, I will ask to see the room before committing!

We didn't even take showers the bathroom was so dingy the tub was dirty there were three pillows on each bed one of them had hair on it didn't look like the sheets have been changed will never stay there again. Slept a few hours an left

Clean room, low price, but the requested non-smoking room still smelled like stale cigarettes. Close to hwy. 287, but with earplugs the noise didn't keep us awake.

It's an ok Days Inn. The rooms are alright. There clean. I guess you can say it's just somewhere to lay your head. The Internet speed is down right awful! They need to work on that for sure! I slept on the bottom floor and if there's someone staying above your room be prepared to hear a lot of squeaking from where pple are stepping upstairs. Aside of that ain't much else to say.

Location of days in has a magnificent view over the beautiful horizon of the outdoors. Its located perfectly between shopping stores gas and many restraunts. The rooms were very clean and well nice tooken care of. Service was never to be asked due to them always knowing when to service you at the right time...

Overall a great place to stay, the room we got was excellent with one minor issue the shower head was for someone that is 4"2-5"0 tall 😁
