Good stopping point from Monument, CO to Houston TX. The area seems pretty safe, as the hotel sits away from the road with plenty of light and cameras around. I would say If the hotel is packed, parking may be a problem... For us there was plenty of vacancy, so there was plenty of parking even for us towing a uhaul. Area has a couple things to eat near by, and it's not far off the beaten path.Rooms were setup a bit different than most hotel rooms. We kinda liked the headboard of the bed on the wall with the bathroom... Means you face the window if laying on the bed. Space of the room was good. It was just us 2 adults and 3 pups. Yes there is a pet charge, but it's one charge vs Holiday Inn being per pet. Rooms were clean, TV technology was pretty neat. Lighting all over the room, even inside the wall units around the window (desk, and TV) were a nice touch with the lighting. Bathroom was clean, and liked the shower and a decent shower head.All in all... Good overnight stay. Desk clerk was friendly, staff around building were very friendly at night and in the morning. Plenty of places to walk the dogs around the hotel as well. One thing to watch for... This area has sand burrs like crazy... Your dogs will pick them up in their feet, so be careful. The hotel can do a better job removing the burrs around the grounds grass... But that only affects us with fur babies.

We experienced car trouble unexpectedly and had to find a hotel quickly without any prior research. We were greeted by a gentleman at the front desk who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress-free.The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise. It was impeccably clean and had a wonderful, inviting fragrance throughout. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a long and unexpected journey.One highlight of our stay was the complimentary breakfast. It exceeded our expectations with a variety of delicious options to choose from, making our morning even more enjoyable.While our stay here was the result of an unforeseen circumstance, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The exceptional service, cleanliness, and overall pleasant experience made a difficult situation much easier to handle. We can't thank the staff enough for their kindness and professionalism. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area.Thank you for turning a challenging night into a memorable stay. We'll definitely keep this hotel in mind for future travels.

We really like this particular Hampton Inn.The people are very nice and the rooms are always clean.We sometimes use this for guests and have never been concerned about how they would be treated.

Great Friendly staff. Dolores very helpful, checking in easy fast... Rooms are always very clean and comfortable. Breakfast area A Plus! We've always return to this location. Safe security camera well lighted up parking lot.Safety: Well lighted up parking lot, camera's. Local PD seen driving by .Food & drinks: Fresh coffee even checking in late Dolores offered fresh coffee and mini items on there store.

We had a King room. It smelled stuffy like an old smell. We bumped the AC and went to dinner. When we came back, we got Fabreeze from the desk and sprayed. While taking a shower, I realized the bath soap was empty so had to use shampoo. My husband went down to get more bath soap and they did not have anything but these little bottles that were half empty. We were provided one towel each, one wash cloth each, and one hand towel each. The coffee was in the bathroom. I don't want my coffee in the bathroom. Terribly unsanitary! The refrigerator was small with no freezer AND it wasn't very cold but never found out how to make colder. AC worked great and the bed was comfortable. Never used the small microwave.

The service here was beyond abysmal. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I am a disabled veteran and I have a service dog. I was told I had to park a truck that could easily fit in a regular parking spot off the road and walk a quarter mile to my hotel room. Then this morning I went to have breakfast and was pushed away and told I could not have breakfast with my service dog at the breakfast area. They are non compliant with ADA laws and Francisco was extremely rude. He is the manager. If you want to discriminate against peoples with disabilities or veterans that are wounded from combat, you should stay here.Noteworthy details: See my review.

Spent a couple nights here for a family gathering. The lobby has plenty of seating and the pool area is spacious. The rooms were clean and updated, with nice air conditioning. The place is located near some decent restaurants and the staff are friendly and helpful.Rooms: Clean and bright.

Stayed here twice in the last two months. First time was uneventful and no reason to talk to front desk. Second time was been a hassle. Neither time has my diamond perk been offered. The problem the second stay is the quadruple parking of trucks with trailers in the parking lot taking up all of the parking spots. 5 trucks with trailers taking up 20 to 25 parking spots. Street parking is available for truck and trailer parking. Dogs were also left on the first floor with out attendants. Front desk seemed to be inattentive to the problems. I am a Hilton rewards costumer for the convenience and hassle free stay. Not getting my money’s worth with this stay.Safety: Dogs left in the hallway without attendance of their owner.Noteworthy details: Lack of parking enforcement.

I booked this hotel about a year in advance for summers last blast on expedia. When I arrived, I was told that my credit card on file was declined so they canceled my room. No one made any attempts to contact me or expedia to let me know there was a issue, so it left me and my family 3 hours from home at 10:30 at night in a town that was completely sold out of rooms. And the real messed up part is I was supposed to pay for the room when I got there so I had no idea that I needed to update payment info on a credit card that got stolen from me.

Room- clean and spacious- great bathroomBreakfast- phenomenal! The chicken and waffles were a very nice addition to the regular Hampton breakfast!Staff- friendly and professional. I overheard several of them engage with a couple ‘regulars’ that must stay there often. Shows they are high quality people that care about the customers and not just mindless drones sitting at the desk.

The breakfast was good. There is an outdoor pool but I didn't go in so don't know how nice it was. There were about ten cats outside of the hotel just sitting around. We thought that was adorable. The room was nice.Safety: You needed a card to get into the hotel (in a certain door. Not the main entrance.)Food & drinks: Breakfast. Waffle maker, orange, apple, and cranberry juice. Toast, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, etc.

Nice, clean place to rest after a long day of driving. Better and safer than many of the places I’ve stayed at in Amarillo. I liked the all glass shower door over a shower curtain because it feels less dirty.
