Great place to stop shop and rent a movie in the redbox kiosk that is infront of the store. My vehicle has tv/dvd screens. This place makes it a good combo out in the middle of nowhere to return or rent movies for your long trip and get a few things you might need.

Well here I am again. Do not use the self checkout unless you are willing to pay for full price on items you select due to sales. Forget getting help from Renee, store manager, she doesn't even know what she is doing around that thing.

This store is ridiculous I didn't get part of my items that I bought went back they watched video told me I had my items well I looked again nope sure don't I believe my items went to the person behind me but basically I'm feeling like they are accusing me of lying!!!! Really!!! It was only 2 items that were small and was under $10 bucks I spend hundreds here but I won't step foot in here again. Sorry you lost one damb good customer. Not a liar thank you check your bags!!

Very polite, friendly and helpful employees. I'm handicapped and they have walked me out to my car and put my waters and other purchases in my car for me. Truly, kind and thoughtful staff! I appreciate them very much.

Nothing in stock. total chaotic merchandise throughout on ground and thrown about just unbelievable girl checking out on cell phone texting the whole time with a line of 7 people not even paying attention to us or what was going on absolutely the worst store experience I've been in will not return upper management needs to do some serious changes

This store is a hot mess. Product in places it doesn't belong. The shelves always look so empty. Customer service is okay. Some associates aren't really friendly. I would continue coming here for emergencies only. I will be doing my major shopping in El Paso.

I was only in town for 2 days but this was the most helpful place in town. The staff was great always available and more than just 2 employees unlike some of the dollar generals I've been to. Great deals.

Well I work here so I know what actually goes on and how things end up. Despite that were always behind on rolltainers, I wouldn't shop anywhere else. We have to big of a selection to ignore. I personally go to El Paso to shop for bulk for the month, it's a good way to hold you up when you only need a few things. Also the prices, while still a little high it beats going to Porters across the street. Now they'll clean out your pockets. That's my honest opinion of the store.

Clean, spacious sites easy access off the interstate. Cable t.v. available along with internet access. Laundry room could be updated and washers and dryers are well used, but gets the job done. Staff welcoming.

I love the store it local but.. Please check all single drinks of $1.. I really love the horizon organic milk drinks and when i saw the vanilla i said yes!! But it expired july 2019 its jan 2020 now.. So yeah..

Very convenient cause I drive a semi- trailer and there's a parking spot for trucks. Easy on and off I-20. Very friendly employees always helpful and courteous.

I have to say I appreciate we have a DG here in Van Horn. The employees are all awesome and hardworking men and women. The only thing is that I think they are over worked and need alot of help.Maybe if DG was to pay better more people would be interested in working there.

Staff is remarkably friendly... Rooms are proportion adequately.... wonderful higher end luxury room and amenitiies...hypo allergenic linens for those who don't like feathers...nice place!

I had to put a 5 because there wasn't a 10 as far as that this Dollar General is concerned these people that works there treated me and my husband like human beings and like family they did not look down upon us they were friendly answered every question and they made us feel like they actually cared other than McDonald's every single human being including the sheriff deputies the ladies at the Super 8 hotel and every individual in between made us feel like scum bags treat us like we were murderers or thieves and made it almost impossible to get out of that town although the sheriff department daily made sure to tell us that we weren't welcome there and we needed to go we were stranded in the middle of the night 3 in the morning pointed towards the Greyhound bus station that did not have anything written outside that damn Hotel and the hotel staff made us known that we were not welcome we could not sit there in the lobby without a bus ticket and we couldn't get a bus ticket without a credit card that we didn't have now that's just wrong and I certainly hope that every single person in Van Horn the treated as so terribly has the same thing happened to them through Karma and every time someone treats you people bad I hope you remember how you treated Gypsy and Mikie while we were there but as far as the Dollar General General is concerned those people treated us very well and helped us tremendously and we will thank you from the bottom of our hearts forever

The best cheap food store in town probably and one of the few ones that accept EBT closes 11:00 p.m. great hours on top of it close to bus station at the freeway and Sam's travel Center

One of the only stores near freeway . Has wide selection of goods. We got stuff for the drive the next day and some 75% off after Xmas decorations.

There is no reliability of merchandise. The town relies on this store.. but the shelves are almost empty. Whenever a new manager comes in then the merchandise seems to change. Most of the employees are very friendly.

you guys dont restock anything and your workers are slow if you would actualy restock your phones and steam gift card things then you could be better but you are one of the only stores in town so its either go to el paso or pecos or here or order it online *sighs*

Very good prices, best selection I have ever seen at a dollar General. I was driving through staying at a hotel near by. Was a great comfort to have at least one place that has everything I needed in one place.

Cereal mark wrong on self 3for $6 family size showed Management Barbara she refused to honor listed price. Telling me that a costumer probably did it I would be surprised what customers do.
