Excellent facilities and friendly, attentive staff. This place has been a haven for us when traveling from Dallas. I was impressed from my first (unscheduled!) tour of the place. It is clean, with real grass, and pools and fresh water in all play areas. The facility is diligent and vigilant with seasonal concerns for heat, cold, viruses, and selecting play groups.The care our two dogs have received each time has been consistently great, and the pups are always happy and calm when we drop them off and pick them up. The staff coordinates and communicates well and professionally without fail. I have been grateful when they accommodated last-minute scheduling, extensive medication needs for an elderly pet, and last-minute pick-up and drop-offs within their scheduled hours. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves their pets as much as I do mine. Thanks to the wonderful staff and facilities for several great stays!

They always do a great job on our standard poodle's bath and grooming! We also use Tailwaggers for boarding services when we go out of town. Our family has been receiving excellent care and services for years. The facility is very nice and well maintained. There is so much outdoor space for the dogs to run around when boarding or in daycare. Oreo highly recommends! 5 Paws! 🐾

I have always had pets since I was a young girl, therefore I’ve had numerous trips to kennel my pets. Tailwaggers is my favorite hands down. The friendly atmosphere, a quick check in and check out, and the comfort I feel knowing my pets are loved on. I enjoy reading my pet’s report card too. It is more like an upscale hotel for pets. Thank you Suzen for providing a wonderful place for my furrfamily.

Update: 9 months and 4 stays laterWhen I first came to TailWaggers, it was my kids (Harley & Billie) first time boarding anywhere. I was hesitant to drop them off. Now, I can't imagine leaving them anywhere else. Every member of staff I've interacted with has been so patient and kind at every turn. They always come home happy and are excited when we pull into the parking lot to drop them off. Thank you guys so much for all that you do ❤️

FALSE ADVERTISING – READ BEFORE BOARDING YOUR DOG AT TAILWAGGERS. For those interested, also read Pam's 1 star review where you'll notice a pattern at Tailwaggers.Picked up my Australian Sheppard today at Tailwaggers after a 9 day board. I checked in at the front of their picturesque dog farmhouse where an attendant was told to get my dog in cell A4. I thought it was weird when the attendant left the facility I was in,with two dogs in tow, and drove out of the facility, down the country road. When I inquired why this was the case with the staff (which by the way not friendly that could be an entirely separate review), they let me know my dog was boarded down the street because that is where dogs go when Tailwaggers is "over capacity." I found it interesting because no one mentioned "over capacity" at the time I booked my Suite with a Veranda. I waited 20 minutes for the attendant to return but when he arrived I was surprised he didn't have my dog. The staff told me he forgot the dog and was sent back to retrieve him. When he finally returned with my dog, I asked to see the other location and specifically where my dog was boarded. He agreed and told me to follow.What he took me to is not as advertised on their website nor what is featured in Suzen's promise of a great pet resort vacation, so I wanted to include pictures which are attached. I have many problems with what I saw. The kennel isn't airconditioned and hot as hell only to be made hotter with the dogs being on top of one another as it was packed in the tight quarters and the size of dog did not matter. There were extremely large dogs jammed into these tight spaces. I was told NOT to send any bedding or toys with my dog because Tailwaggers would provide bedding and toys in the "suite." As you an see there is no bedding or leftover toys in suite (cell) A4. The pictures I took of the other "suites" with the dogs stuffed into them looked the same.Needless to say, I was fuming and quickly cruised back to the main location and demanded 100% refund to which they quickly agreed. This is the only positive thing about the whole situation.What I would say to those reading this, go back and read the website while taking a good look at the pictures and read the Tailwagger promise. Then, take a look at the pictures posted and ask yourself if you trust this company enough to take care of your loved one.

This was the greatest place. Full green grass spaces for the puppies to run in, pleasant, kind, patient staff, super clean facilities. I'll be taking my fur babies here for a long time!

UPDATE: it has now been months since this happened and I was told I was going to get a check in the mail by the owner or manager or whoever. Weeks went by and I was then informed by check got sent to the wrong person. It has now been MONTHS and still nothing.So, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. It seemed so much better online and by the niceness of the front desk staff. The first time we boarded here, my pup came back with big wounds and sick. I tried sending photos on Facebook asking if they know where they came from and was never acknowledged. With her being sick, we thought maybe it was trachea irritation from her pulling on the leash, they use the tightening loop instead of her harness which causes damage. But no, pretty sure it was kennel cough. Fast forward to yesterday, picked her up and she is hacking/honking again. I ask the guy at the front desk if she's sick again and he goes "oh no not at all, she's just excited to see you guys". She continues to cough and get sick all last night and is very sick today. For being as expensive as it is, they should be paying better attention to the dogs, keep sick dogs in quarantine and actually cleaning! Despite having the kennel cough vaccine every 6 months per their request, my dog has gotten severely sick TWICE now. Wish I could get some of my money back to pay for the vet visits 😩

I have been using Tailwaggers for boarding for a few years now and I love them. They take such good care of my animals. My dogs have always seemed happy when I drop them off and when I pick them up. They have a special room for cats and our cat seemed to be happy to interact with other cats. They take great care of my blind, diabetic min pin. They take him outside on a leash, so they can ensure he doesn't walk into things, and I always see them give him lots of love when he arrives and before he leaves. The staff are friendly, caring, and most seem to be experienced pet owners themselves. Pricing is reasonable and they even offer a pickup and delivery service. Grooming is also available so your pets can be nice and clean when you bring them home.

Last minute trip.. Staff was precious! They got me scheduled for next day drop off! I was impressed with the facility and the staff - everyone I interacted with was really sweet! Got pictures, report cards, and didn’t mind my calls to check on them 💝 Picked up the babies tonight and the staff included bones as a gift! They provided wonderful customer service to me and took great care of my babies! We’ll definitely be back! Thanks Tail Waggers!

My dogs love it here. Previously used them several years for my other dogs until we moved away. And started using them again for my new puppy and they are great. Chandler loves it there and her behavior is slowly but surely improving with training sessions with James since she does the "Train and Play" daycamp/training combo. All the staff is amazing

Staff was unbelievably unattentive when I arrived to pickup my dogs. Several staff came up to the front desk and basically acted like I wasn't standing there for about 8- 10 minutes. Eventually one asked if I was picking up. She wasn't very friendly to me because I picked my dogs up a day early which seemed to be a burden. She seemed very short with me and distracted. I was surprised to see my dogs initial reaction they looked terrified when the door opened They had been brought out front of the building in a vehicle from another part of the facility. The phone lines were also poorly managed when I tried calling for an update it took several calls, listening to recording, disconnections, and about 20 minutes of not giving up to talk to someone. I didn't feel welcomed during my visit hopefully they improve their customer service skills and work on engaging with their customers. During my wait time they were also preparing goodie bags for the dogs getting picked up and since I was early they didn't offer to make my dogs one which is rude and off putting. They had the stuff out they could have offered. I hope the manager sees this and talks with staff to implement better practices. Sad

My sister was the first to board her 2 medium hounds over several years during Christmas. Their mental & physical conditions were great upon pickup. I now board my pit mix with play time. While I see some strain on services during hectic times (holidays, summer), my experience upon picking up Redbud is finding her in better physical condition and a good mental outlook. I take advantage of the grooming for an "exit bath". Suzen comes from a customer service background and her staff replicates this. She is careful of her charges. An example: with 100+F temps, there was a notice on the door of no play time, only walks for pee/poop purpose. The "Stay" Report Card is a tool I like. Yes, it has mostly positive selections, but there is usually a memo, and all together confirms what I know of my 10 year old dog. It gives me confidence in this establishment. I continue to choose TCI with four exercise sessions, which I have seen in better weather as I pull up the drive, over a vet pen with only 2 x 15 minutes breaks in 24 hrs.

I boarded my two dogs for the very first time at Tailwaggers inn; so kind, professional and took care of my girls like I would. They answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable as they could tell I was uneasy for leaving my dogs for the very first time. I was also able to watch them with their camera set up. Dogs came home alive, but not on the right day. They didn’t charge us for transportation because of the mix up. Dogs were wild eyed for about a week. I wish they had cameras there.

If keeping your dog alive is your standard for a kennel, then this one is for you. If you are like me and want your dog to have as much fun on his vacation as you are having on yours, you should look elsewhere. My 2 year old lab and 9 year old mini dachshund were returned to me looking very sad, not excited, just very reserved. Just sad. I thought something was up so I asked if they’d played well with other dogs. I was told that they “ran them as singles”. For four days my dogs sat in their room together with no socialization with other dogs. When I dropped them off I talked at length with the young lady that checked us in about how they play, and was assured that they would have group play. Never again. If our usual kennel doesn’t have availability, I’ll hire a house sitter. At least then they’d get to play and have someone love on them. Not to mention paying a sitter about half of what Tailwaggers charges.

Do NOT board your dogs here. There is not group play do not be mislead by the beautiful photos. Your dog will be stuck in a kennel and let out 3 - 4 times (who can verify this???) per day, supposedly. Mine came home without being fed their evening meal (left in their bag) and my normally happy go lucky dogs were not just tired but exhausted and depressed. I board them regularly at a much smaller business and they come home tired but happy.My gut tells me something is not right here and without public access cameras in the kennel areas we cannot know what really goes on ...do not board here!!

We moved to the area over the summer and started looking for a local place to board our two Neapolitan Mastiffs, of course most places were completely booked for the summer. We were down to three places we wanted to try but when I had an emergency trip come up to attend a funeral, the staff at Tailwaggers were incredibly helpful. It was the end of July and when I told them I had to take an emergency trip I was placed on hold while India talked to the manager to figure out if there was a way to help me. After a few minutes she came back and told me to take them over (same day) and they would work something out so I could get to the funeral. We’ve boarded them a few more times after that and we honestly wouldn’t take them anywhere else. The entire staff has been amazing and super accommodating, our dogs are a handful (plus they are 150 and 140 lbs). Thank you, Kevin, Tammy, India, James, Lindsey, Chloe and Paige, just to mention a few of the crew that have helped with our crazy pups and accommodated our requests.

We love Tailwaggers Country Inn! We have been taking our dogs to Tailwaggers for many years. From grooming to boarding to doggy daycare we are always impressed with the service and staff. Suzen and her team go the extra mile to make sure our dog-kids feel loved! Our Irish Setters have a lot of energy and we have found that doggy daycare is our saving grace. The dogs behave so much better for us in the evening when they have had the chance to run and play all day. It really changes the dynamic of our household for the better! And when we need to be away overnight we never worry about leaving the dogs for an extended stay at Tailwaggers. We recommend Tailwaggers to friends and family all the time!

I used their services for the first time recently. I was able to view my puppy’s room via camera and the smartphone app and caught the staff playing and letting my puppy love on them. It made me happy that they were playing with him and he was happy.

This is by far the best boarding place I’ve ever taken my dog to. I wouldn’t let them stay anywhere else. Everyone is beyond nice and go out of their way to make you and your pet feel comfortable. It’s always hard leaving your fur babies somewhere but taking them here put my mind at ease. And best part was when I picked them up I could tell they had enjoyed themselves. Especially my golden who got to go swimming whenever he wanted! Highly recommend tailwaggers country inn!

I’ve been taking my boy there for 2 years and recently started taking my little one there. The staff is great. The facility is always in order. My dogs love going there and are always tired and ready to relax when I get them home. The groomer is absolutely fantastic. Does a great job on our Maltese. I can’t imagine taking them anywhere else. And I won’t. I feel very confident when I leave them there overnight that all will be fine. Thank you girls and the other staff for the care you give my boys.

As much as I wish I could give more stars, I cannot. On the good side, the workers are fantastic! They seem to be attentive to the pets that come through the door! And, when we accidently left our dog's bag, a week later (we live out of state) we were able to pick it up without worry about it. They knew which one it was and were able to get there hands on it immediately.The only "con" we have witnessed twice now is that my dog has developed Kennel Cough after being boarded. She is not around other dogs typically, and has definitely not been around any other dog in the past 6 weeks. We were surprised (especially 2 times) since the shot for Kennel Cough is required, and she has had her shots. It's disappointing to have boarded her both times at Tailwaggers and her to come home sick. We have never boarded her any other place and used Tailwaggers at the recommendation of a friend.Unfortunately, we will not be using them again.
