The cashier was very friendly and helped us find the iPhone cord we were looking for. As far as Dollar General goes this one was surprisingly tidy. Most of the ones in Amarillo are a disaster with things looking like they were just thrown on the shelves but this one actually seemed to have a place for items and looks like the employees take care to keep things clean and neat.

Easy in and out for simple items. Not overly priced too, but some things are more expensive as you would expect for convenience

The staff is great at this location. The store is decently clean—it’s hard to be stock clerk, cashier & security guard all in one with several shoppers in the store. Keep up the good work!

I am surprised what they had to sell in this store. Snacks, some groceries, cleaning supplies, toys, gift cards, some clothes and more. Its like a compact Kroger. It looked small on the outside but when I got in it was pretty decent in size. Overall a great experience with the products and service.

Each Dollar General is not the same they all have different products in there so if you're looking for something special or want to find something different you're in luck it just may and may not be there but the people there at this Dollar General were friendly and nice they greeted the customer as we walked in felt welcomed

Not ran properly!! When you have a price up for a product. You should pay that price for that said product. Wanda & hunter do not know what they are doing. It's very easy to give that product for the price that it states and write it down for the main management fo see. You need to get better workers with better personalities and who will serve the customers in a more professional manner. Also get all you products put correctly into the systems. I've ran many stores and it isn't that difficult. J.s. I will be contacting corporate and making a complaint. Of in have toncall every day so these two will get the understanding of how to run a store. I will. One unhappy unsatisfied customer!

When DG in Van Alstyne first opened it was a cute little store run by awesome Ladies! They had adorable little items, were super friendly and always had great deals! But when the remodel happened all that changed. It's now crowded with too many items and you have to dig to find anything. They overstock so there is always too much of the same items on the shelves. They are also one of the only stores that stocks Holiday items months in advance when no one wants to think about it! Halloween in July? Thanksgiving in August? Too early! I wish they'd go back to being the cute little store they were! I go to Walmart now because for less I can get the same items without trying to navigate the tiny isles. If you only need one item DG in VA is ok, otherwise just go to Walmart.

I dont know how true this is....I have a card that strip is fading ( foodstamp card) so that it made it hard to readI asked the employee could i manually type it in because of the strip and he said that machine does it.I tryes to explain thats not true because i shop at Dollars General regularly and i know there is way for them to do that.I dont know if he didnt know how to do it and probably didnt want to learn. Or he just didnt want to do it because i had another card in my hand. I dont know.I just know til i get a new card. I wont be going to that one

This is my favorite DG EVER!I love the staff, they're the best! Super friendly and very helpful!The store is clean and organized, I know exactly where to find the things I need.

This Dollar General is more clean than other's in my opinion. I do wish they had a bigger selection of crafts and party favors.

They have a great selection, and are clean and usually not cluttered. Staff is friendly. Restrooms are clean and stocked.
