What a great experience!! We won a tour & tasting through our church and were so pleasantly surprised! The grounds are beautiful and Jazmine did a great job with our tour--she was so friendly and answered all our questions. We even stayed after for about an hour and enjoyed the charcuterie and nature along with our wine. We will definitely be back!!

Highly recommend!! Beautiful view and amazing service. Valerie was our tour guide and host for me and my friend. We went for a birthday outing! Valerie did a great job and was very informative with our wine tour! This was my first wine tour so I learned a lot. She offered information that is usually questioned by others. There was no rush to get inside even in the hot Texas heat!! She happily took pictures of us outside and inside. Even though it’s a workout, I absolutely love the stairs coming in from the gorgeous double doors downstairs! Very spacious with tables inside and outside. They also offer bread & charcuterie boards to go along with your wine! The bread is delicious so we did an order of it by itself after our board. We both purchased bottles to bring home and we will be returning soon!

We were in Valley Mills and came to this vineyard on a whim. So glad we did. The staff was super friendly. I highly recommend the Muscat. Perfect glass of wine to enjoy the beautiful views. We were told going up top was one of the best views and it truly was.

Beautiful and spacious vineyards. The views are pretty. The place is clean and staff is nice. We tried a couple of wines they were fair. Wished they had wooden barrels instead of all steel tanks but those require much more upkeep and tradition.

We had an amazing experience and really enjoyed our time at Valley Mills because of Milyssa! She completely turned around our opinion after having a not-so-great experience months prior due to an associate rushing us and forcing us to tab out long before close. Milyssa was knowledgeable about every wine's tasting notes we were interested in and had a very kind, warm, and hospitable demeanor; we're eager to come back and visit again!! I like white wines and roses, I like the entire range from very dry to sweet. I enjoyed the Rose, the Vermentino and the Muscat Cannelli. All of the wines I tried had a nice mouth-feel and a great aftertaste. The rose and vermentino are drier whereas the Muscat is much sweeter, but the flavor is worth trying it! The venue is gorgeous, and is especially beautiful during sunset. The property is well maintained, clean, fresh and esthetically pleasing. We had such a great time and we mostly have Milyssa to thank for it!! Great job Milyssa, you're appreciated!

What a surprise on the northwest outskirts of Waco. After learning of this vineyard at a farmers market, we drove the 20 minutes from town to visit. Tucked away on a hillside, other than the sign, it's pretty easy to miss. Once there, it was peaceful and beautiful. The staff is open, inviting, and very helpful. There was plenty of outdoor seating. The weather was beautiful for us. We were so glad to have found this place and look forward to our next visit.

Before I get to the actual review--NOTE FOR ANYONE WHO HAS TROUBLE WITH STAIRS: Seriously, have someone drop you off at the handicap entrance if you don't have a handicap placard to park there. I have knees that like to act up sometimes, but I was like "Oh, I'm sure it's only a few stairs, it'll be fine!" THERE ARE A LOT OF STAIRS. If you have trouble climbing at all, just take the accessible entrance. (None of this is a complaint, by the way! I just don't want anyone to be caught unaware like I was!)This place was beautiful, even in late autumn! I only discovered its existence a few days ago, but my boyfriend and I have already decided we'll be coming back for Date Night from time to time. It's not too far outside Waco proper, and the (comparatively) hilly landscape reminded me pleasantly of my northern roots. The only thing we did this visit was taste a few wines (the ruby port is EXCELLENT) and buy a few bottles as Christmas gifts, but sitting out back at sunset was almost magical. The woman who helped us was so friendly and helpful, too! Just a great time all around!

Valley Mills Vineyards is one of our favorite places to go when we are in the Waco area. Love the owners and the staff! They know their wines and love discussing them. They can make recommendations for you, if you need a little help. The wine is awesome. The quality is excellent and there are so many great choices, everyone can find an award winning wine that is sure to be loved.Check the schedule as there is often live entertainment on Sunday afternoons. Join the wine club! You get a discount on purchases but it also opens up the monthly wine club dinners. I can't describe how wonderful these events are. Creative chefs from the region create sumptuous multi-course meals which are perfectly paired with the wines. Come help pick grapes during harvest season, or just enjoy the Texas hills, a magnificent estate, the beauty of nature, and excellent wines.

My husband and I did a tour and tasting for my birthday. The tour was awesome. The guide was so knowledgeable, and we loved learning about how the wine was made. The scenery from the winery was beautiful, overlooking the vineyard. All of the wine in the tasting was delicious. We stayed after the tour to enjoy a bottle of wine and a snack. The Narra Cabernet was one of the best tasting, smoothest Cabernets I have ever had. The bread and pesto were phenomenal. Overall it was an amazing experience, we can't wait to go back!

The place is very beautiful. The staff was very friendly and knew about their vineyard. Came in the winter so all the vines and greenery was gone but still made for a good time. The tour include about 5 tastings. It was a bit pricier for the tour length and what you get to see but it was still nice and they show you the three main parts of the vineyard. They had a live jazz band which made it cool to drink your wine and enjoy the music.

We visited end of December 2023, very nice facility and outdoor seating with a view. Charcuterie board was good. The wines were OK. Taking away one star because we’re red wine fans and they served all our reds COLD. As a result, we were not able to fully experience the bouquets of flavors. They need a better temperature control for wherever they store their red bottles that are meant for tasting.

Great place to take someone for their first or fiftieth winery experience. Beautiful hidden gem with wines as good as you'll find in the more well-known areas. I also can't say enough good things about the service and staff; this winery is the founder's labor of love (you can see him working the grounds on weekends) and it shows in the customer experience.

We just recently joined and this was our first trip back. Marissa was who helped us this weekend, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She definitely enhanced the experience. As far as the winery goes we never knew we had such a great winery escape right in our backyard. This place is beautiful and their wine is fantastic. We have been going to Fredericksburg for years, and Valley Mills Winery is no slouch by comparison.
