Max really likes this place. They are not pushy for sales/ appointments. They are very caring and compassionate about your dog.Unlike Greener grooming, Max hated going there not sure what they were doing to him.Anyway I highly recommend this place.

I love this place. I have been taking my 3 dogs here for around 7 years. The staff is friendly and patient with my little ankle biters. They take great notes so they know how I like my dogs hair cut. All I have to do is call and make the appt. The dogs always look great. They also take great care of my dogs while waiting for their cuts. They take them on potty breaks and give them snacks. I've never had an issues with nics or cuts. That was a huge problem I had with my past groomer. The facility is clean and the prices are great (that's important to me cause I have 3 fluffs). I'll never take my dogs anywhere else.

So amazing! I have a fussy and dramatic Husky Malamute mix that absolutely hates to be groomed! It takes a lot of care and dedication to groom him, that's for sure. He's almost 10 years old and this is the best grooming team I have ever met! Amazing! They are so nice, truly listen, really communicative, and Shawn rocks! Jamie rocks! Everything was perfect! I really cannot express how 10 out of 10 this place is and how confidently I would recommend it! I see dogs of all shapes and sizes and ages coming in and out of there, everyone seems happy! I would never go anywhere else!!!! These people care about your dog! As a husky owner, it is really hard to find someone who understands my dog's coat and the necessary ways to care for it. They freaking knew everything without me even explaining! If you own an undercoat dog, this is your place!Update! I have locked this in as my all-time best groomer! I just cannot express how good of care they take of your pup. Plus they give great advice! Don't look anywhere else!!!

Absolutely amazing! The staff was super sweet to my baby, Cali, and she immediately took to them! They took the time to get a brief background and even asked if she had any triggers. They did an awesome job grooming, bathing, and cutting her nails! We will definitely be returning! I 150% reccomend!!!

I absolutely love this place.Found it by chance and took it.They definitely take care of my Labrador Retriever.The people there genuinely care about how they groom the animal.They are very gentle with every animal they groom there.My dog always looks really awesome when she leaves there.Wonderful People.I will always recommend their fantastic great service.

I was looking for a place closer to home to have my poodle groomed. When I arrived to drop off my fur baby, they were ready for her (well organized system). Staff was extremely friendly. When I picked her up, she looked great. They were able to accommodate her special skin issues with bathing product that left her clean, shiny, and itch free! Pricing was very reasonable.

Great groomer and good price. They have never done me wrong, I have been using them for about 5 years. Price has never changed. They have remolded and really changed up somethings for the better. I drop off Daisy at noon and pick her up at 5. They take her outside so she can take care of that and are great. Daisy loves going there. A few times she has been the last one there to be picked up and they just let her roam around the shop witch is much better then being in the little kennel. Don't go anywhere else, you will be wasting your money.

The groomers here are are all very nice and do a good job. For some reason they never seem to understand how to cut my dog's tail. It seems like each groomer has his/her own interpretation of a short cut. But I do highly recommend them because the prices are fair and they all care about your dog and treat them well.

I was referred to this place by my mother who has been using their services for many years now. We just recently moved to this side of town and using our old groomer was going to be a hassle due to distance. My dog was brought in to have a bath and have his nails cut for $20. The sole purpose of this service was to have his nails cut since I have been very short on time lately due to my hectic work schedule. I figured having him bathed was an added bonus. When we went to pick up my dog he appeared fine and was put into his crate. There was a lot of commotion going on because we were also picking up my mother's dog who can be a handful. When I arrived home I tried to let my dog out of his carrier and to my dismay realized that it was damaged, which was upsetting since the carrier was $70. I do not know how this happened but apparently happened while we were in the store. Also I noticed that my dog's nails were barely cut which was the main reason for the service in the first place. When we discovered these things, we called the store and asked to speak with the owner Karen. First we tried to explain that the carrier was broken and that I was not happy with my dog's nails. Karen was not apologetic about the issues and kept trying to give excuses as to why they couldn't really cut his nails and that the carrier was fine when it was there. I tried to explain to her that I was not upset about his bath but the whole reason for the service was to have his nails cut. All she kept saying was that they are not responsible and being very rude and ugly for no reason. I never insulted this woman or her business but she was extremely unprofessional. I have worked in the pet business before and know that you cannot be demeaning and ugly to customers without repercussions. Then my mother went over to this establishment to show the owner Karen what had happened to the carrier. Karen was so insulting to my mother and demanded that she show her a receipt for the carrier. I am sorry but who carries around a receipt for a carrier that they purchased a year ago; that is pretty ridiculous. Also originally she offered me a refund on the phone but of course in person when confronted with the truth she back out on her word. I really hope that anyone looking for dog grooming services steers clear from this place because clearly the owner is unprofessional, unapologetic, and has a total disregard for proper customer service. Oh and to top it off she actually had the gall to tell us that she was offended which is pretty laughable. This place is Awesome. We have been going to Karen for many many years when she was at Polly's. Since she has opened up her own shop it is even better. The care they show and quality grooming they provide is astounding. We have a standing monthly appointment and as long as out 14 year old dog can go we will keep it.

Was inform over the phone our dog would cost $35-$45 who weighs 36lbs. Upon seeing the dog they informed us because of amount hair the cost would be $45. Upon picking our dog up, we was informed that our dog would cost almost $59. Because we mentioned that we had been told during the drop off that we would be charged $45, they would charge us $45 this time, but next time the cost will be $59. NOT SURE HOW GO FROM $35 TO $59 BECAUSE OF HAIR? Initial customer service (Karen?) was very good. Customer service upon completion wasn't good. This was a first time visit to see if a cost savings would be worth our visit. It was not so we will take our dog back to our original groomer who we have been with for a number of years. Recommendation to the owner: your future business can be reflective on a customer's first visit.

This is my second time taking Tobi here. The first time was his first cut, I had no problems. But today was a frustrating day. I dropped him off at 9 in the morning and was told he'd be done around 1. At 1 I called them to ask if he was ready, they said not yet. I said okay, can you just please keep an eye on him and make sure he eats a little because if he doesn't, his blood sugar gets low. By 3 o'clock I still hadn't heard from them and I had to call into work. I was worried about him, since this was only his second time. I called again at 4 to be told he had been ready since 12. I get to the store within 15 min to meet with the Owner and two other employs at the front desk who insisted they had called and left a voice mail. I never received a message. Needless to say my 4 month old puppy sat in a kennel and had not been given and food. I was told they gave him water and potty breaks. 8 hours without food is pretty upsetting. Especially after I specifically asked them to make sure he got food. The owner did not apologize, just kept insisting that they called and left a message. I will NEVER be visiting again nor will I ever recommend them to anybody.

They do an amazing job on my dogs, but they are expensive, and I don't like that my dogs are there all day. I'm also a little uneasy with the guy who works there, older guy with a grey ponytail. He was grooming a dog there when I dropped mine off, and sharply told a dog to "stop" I think the dog was wriggling a bit, but even so. It made me very uneasy about leaving my dogs there. I don't want him handling mine. I haven't been back since.

I have been searching for someone who knows how to groom a golden retriever for many years. Dog Stars was recommended to me by a friend in Sonny's Agility class. They do an EXCELLENT job! They also do an excellent job on my Molly who has NEVER had a good groom until Dog Stars. I live off Blanco Rd. and gladly drive to Universal City for a groom. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

My mom's poodle mix loves going to see her friends at Dog Stars. She used to come home traumatized at other places but comes happy and adorable now. Which is saying a lot considering when she finally gets there she looks like a red hot mess. Will never go anywhere else.

I have had dogs all my life, and have delt with groomers in 5 states.You will not meet a more caring, professional and wonderful place than this. They treat your dog as if it was their own. I can't say enough good things about them.
