Pharmacy is terrible and has ungodly waits. Takes 4+ hours to get a simple prescription filled. I no longer use them unless it’s the weekend. Store closes at random times due to lack of staff. Company pays the employees poorly and treats them terribly. The company keeps buying out other local pharmacies, but cannot keep their current ones staffed and stocked. Seriously the company needs to reevaluate their management and processes.

I have never had a good experience with this pharmacy. Everytime I need a prescription refill, they tell me it will be ready on a certain day… but when I go to pick it up it’s not ready and actually takes several days to get filled. I had a prescription for an eye drop that they didn’t have in stock and they weren’t willing to even order it for me. Employees are really unhelpful. They are ALWAYS understaffed. Always be prepared to spend 30min-1hour in line waiting. I had to have all my medications transferred to another pharmacy because it is always such a hassle dealing with this one.

So many bad experiences at this store.Rude pharmacy technicians at the drive through.The pharmacy tells me my Rx was never sent by my doctor, but tells my doctor they're out of it when called. Never have I ever waited less than 45 for service. Drive up lane, vaccines, & counter walk up. I have tried going at different times, and making appointments. It matters not at all. If you can go, ANYWHERE else.

The doctor sent my prescription on Friday morning, I come to pick up my prescription on Sunday and I was told it wasn’t ready. Why? Well idk is what she said at first, then turns into well it was your insurance. Which is a lie, I use them all the time, my insurance is on file with them as anthem BCBS through my employer. Then she tells me I can have it ready in a few minutes but you need to pull around. Why am I pulling around on a prescription that should have been produced for pick up as early as Friday? Never once apologized for the inconvenience, even had a snarky tone about it. I know it wasn’t her fault as I kept saying but there shouldn’t have been any waiting or making a circle and definitely save the tone for someone who isn’t in the right

The worst pharmacy, filled up my partial prescription because they were out of the medication and told me to take it next week. When I went next week to take it they’re telling me they don’t have the medication and that I would need to go to another pharmacy to take it. Tyler pharmacy is telling me they can’t fill up the partial prescription and I’ll have to take it from the same pharmacy. Very rude staff they don’t know what they’re doing. Now I might miss the antibiotics dose because of them.

I consistently get over charged for items marked on sale. In the last month I was charged and extra $17 and didn't receive the advertised rewards of $10 twice on a $45 & $82 purchase. That's $37 more than was advertised.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy in East Texas. Very poor customer service, and now that Brookshire's has sold their pharmacy division to Walgreens, we're stuck with this.

The only good thing about this pharmacy is that it’s open 24/7. Other than that, the customer service is POOR and the Pharmacists hate their lives. They lose your insurance information then try to force you to pay egregious fees for medication that is needed. Choose another pharmacy.

The WORST pharmacy in Tyler tx . I stayed in line for 40 mins just for them to hand me someone else prescription. Not to mention they lost my son prescription. Trashy , trashy very unprofessional .

Horrible experience. Went to have a prescription transferred and pharmacy said it would be 30 minutes. Given the store was busy, I returned a few hours later to find that the pharmacist has not yet spoken to my pharmacist. I told them I would sit and wait until he called. He finished it in five minutes, but said the prescription couldn’t be transferred. So, as this was an essential medication, I was off to the ER on Christmas Day. After that I returned to Walgreens and they said it would be 30 minutes. I told them I needed to pay out of pocket because it was refill too soon. I had left the meds at home in Atlanta. I then left and later got a text saying they needed my insurance information. Called the store waited on hold again and they said they couldn’t take my insurance information over the phone. So I returned to the store. At the store I got my prescription and the tech called for a consult. The pharmacist came over to the register, swiped his card and didn’t even look at me. Not sure what a consult is for. When I was there earlier and had waited in line for a total of 1.5 hours, he spoke to each customer. Never again Walgreens.

My wife and I, have visited this location, on many occasions. My last visit, pretty much ruined any chance of a return. They are, OUTRAGEOUSLY, priced. I bought a bottle of CoQ10, it was $64.00. I can get the same bottle, at drug emporium, for a 3d of that. To me, that's price gouging.

Wow.... I've had a bad experience with this pharmacy twice in one week. I had a major dental surgery last Friday, an apicoectomy, and this location has been extremely slow on filling the medicine for the pain I'm in from the procedure. At 11:30 am January 29th, 2023, I called in to check on the prescription. The person I spoke with said the medicine would be ready in 2 hours. I got here approximately 2 hours later, but they were out to lunch. (Tell people when you're gone) Therefore, I decided to wait. However, when they reopened, it still wasn't ready. A lot of people seem to have a bad experience here. I would go to another Walgreens or just go to Walmart. I'll only go here as a last resort since they are the only 24-hour pharmacy in Tyler.

Other reviews about the slowness of getting your meds are spot on. I was second in line at about 5:03 PM on a Tuesday and still waiting to pay at 5:29 PM while typing this review.What happened? Prioritization of drive-thru over in-store customers, unwillingness to deal with long lines, lack of care and customer service, and for me specifically gave me generic when I had asked for brand and when the prescription was for brand.It is 5:34 PM, and I was just told it would be another 10 minutes until the right meds would be ready.Do not come here if you have another feasible option.

Slowest pharmacy and sadly the only one open 24 hours. Came around 12 pm to pick up a prescription that has been ready, and had a 20 minute wait time for assistance (their were enough people to man 3 registers.) Came back at 10:30pm, and the drive through wasn't receiving assistance at all. The workers inside told someone in the drive through to come inside becausethey were too short staffed. Stood inside for over 30 minutes and only 2 people successfully received their medications. Do not ever recommend using this pharmacy location unless it's not avoidable. Not ideal when you have a sick baby or family member.

Not only does this location have horrible customer service , now they are closed at night due to staffing . So the only positive thing is gone . Please shut this store down and replace it with a department or shoe store . Anything !

Watch out they will mess up and not send your script thru your insurance. They won’t own up to it and send you around in circles! Even went in person to complain since my calling wasn’t getting me anywhere. My Husband picked up my prescription for me since I was I’ll and he didn’t know any different.The next day when I looked at my prescription the cost was twice as last same prescription. I started trying to call and I keep getting put on hold and cut off. I gave up and started calling again talked to the manager and they said they would handle it but I never received my refund or a call back.I went in person to complain and they gave me a sheet of paper stating it had been turned over to corporate, what a joke they don’t care! It’s been over two months, I will not use them!

My 5 yr old son started getting sick on Sunday 02/20/22. Went to the Dr and decided he just had something viral so we went home. He had fever for 4 days and was fever free and back to normal by Thursday 02/24. Friday evening, 02/25, he started to feel bad again and started running fever. It was after normal business hours and I was able to get a hold of his Dr who was on-call and she decided send in a prescription for an antibiotic. It was already 6:30pm and my regular pharmacy closed at 7pm. So we decided to have it sent to the only 24 pharmacy we have, Walgreens. She sends it over and about 10 minutes later I call Walgreens and the girl tells me "oh, we don't see those electronic prescriptions for 2 hours after they're sent. Call back at 9:30 to check on it". Seriously!?? That's ridiculous! My son will definitely be asleep by then. I want to be asleep by then AND I am not going to ask someone to go pick up a prescription at 9:30 or 10 o'clock at night and bring it to me. That's 100% insane that they supposedly don't get their prescription requests for TWO whole hours after it's sent over. What if I actually NEED it earlier and they are the ONLY pharmacy open?? I will NEVER use this pharmacy again. I find it hard to believe what she told me. Every other pharmacy gets their electronic prescriptions quickly. Isn't that the whole point of sending it electronically?? I just decided to wait and pick it up in the morning and my regular Walmart pharmacy.

I’ve used this pharmacy over 10 years due to 24 hr convenience. I’ve transferred all prescriptions due to rude, lazy, inefficient employees. It took me 2 trips to get an RX that they for unknown reasons cancelled and wanted me to wait 90 minutes for it. I waited and low and behold, another message stating it was delayed and I was delayed 24 hours taking medication for COVID because by this time, there was no one open to fill it. Terrible service. I’d give a zero if I could.

The worst pharmacy ever!!!! Horrible service, extremely bad attitudes. They took all day to fill one bottle of eye drops. If there was any other choice on the weekend I would never use them again. So sad that Brookshires sold out to them.

BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE! Went to pick up baby shower photos before a doctors appointment (to share with my doctor after delivering my still born son last week). Upon arriving they were not ready so I had to sit down on a machine & reprint them. I called several times before arriving to see if they were ready. NO ONE in the department answered the phone ! When I arrived there were 4 women in the department ! Yet none of my calls were answered! The workers had no sense of urgency and one even slammed her pen down and walked away as I was standing there waiting & didn’t offer help ! I called to speak to a manager & I was HUNG UP ON !!! This is obscured! I’ll be reaching out to corporate. When someone is spending money at your store you don’t treat them like I was treated.

I called to refill my prescription at noon and was told that my medication would be available to pick up in 90 minutes. Since I couldn't make it then, I waited until after work. I got in line at the drive thru just after 6:30pm and waited patiently to get up to the window. I got to the window and they tell me my medicine is in Dallas and wouldn't be there until tomorrow. So she offers to supplement until it gets there the next day. I'll take it! I'm still keeping my cool because at least I'm getting something for waiting in line for so long. She comes back and they don't even have that!!!! I left the line at 7:45pm with nothing! 1 hour and 15 minutes of my evening I could have spent with my family was gone because someone couldn't be bothered to call and let the customer know that they didn't have what they needed. You can get on a ride at Disney World faster than you can get your prescription!

The cashier up front was rude. I didn't realize she was still waiting on that one customer and started to tell her what we needed and she point her finger at me in a harsh way and tell me that she was still waiting on the customer in front of me. I said well I didn't know sorry. I haven't been in your store in over a year. She possibly had a bad day yesterday but we can't be rude to anyone. My daughter was buying the cigarettes I just said what they were and she said that she would not sell them then because I said what brand. My daughter was purchasing everything that I had put on the counter. Hope not to ever come back to your establishment.

Go to Super1 for your Rx's.Super1 works great with Medicare but the greatest plus is there is never a line, inside or drive thru.They administer vaccinations and keep good records.Never a problem with Super1 Pharmacy.

The wait is always long evenings and late nights included. Prescriptions were transferred from the pharmacy on Troup Hwy without my consent. My prescription was sold to my husband at full price without explanation other than the insurance didn’t cover it. I had to raise Cane and return it. They called the doc for the refill but did not change the instructions. They did not call to tell me I needed to have a new prescription called in to change the dosage. The tech did not resolve the problem and made haste when I was willing to get off of the phone. Customer service is poor and I am extremely bothered by the fact that they filled a prescription that was far too soon without questioning if the drug was being misused! To the extent of their knowledge and their miscommunication this is exactly what occurred and if the pharmacist allows this then what else goes by the way side. Not ok!
