The reason for one star is because there are never any lumber karts available. Every single time I need a lumber cart I have to scour the parking lot and usually never find one. I don’t see why it’s so hard for them to gather the carts so when I walk in the store there are carts available? Why is it such a problem? I feel like there are only 10 lumber carts for this entire store. It’s so incredibly frustrating wandering around the parking lot looking for the cart I need. Get more carts and get people to go out and gather them.

I love this location to shop for all my home hardware goods. The staff is always friendly. The store is always busy but there's never a long wait in line. There's self check out and customer service. A large garden section which is my favorite. Very nice selection of paints and flooring options to upgrade your home. Any and all repair needs. Curbside pickup and delivery is an option just in case you you cannot leave home.

I'm a maintenance manager and it's a rare day that Home Depot doesn't have whatever I'm needing. I recently needed to rent a trencher to put in a French drain. I had no idea that they had a rental department. In Tyler it's tucked away up front so you have to looked for it but it's there. Loads of stuff to rent even stuff you wouldn't think. Perfect for the do-it-yourself guy. (I see a wet tile saw rental in my future.)I walked in and rented my trencher that I had reserved a day earlier. I recommend reserving since the supply may be limited. The attendant came outside and walked me through everything I needed to know. Kind of idiot proofed it for me. The trencher even came on it's own trailer. No need to borrow or get charged a trailer rental fee. It got the job done with no issues and since I finished it before I expected, I took it back early. Since thefts are high these days the deposits can be up there. Mine was $300 but a step up in size and mine would have been $1000. Be prepared..

Tyler Texas home Depot store.. I could go down a list of things wrong with this store and the laziness of the workers especially managers that let this go on...but I'll let the picture at 4:00 p.m. friday of shopping carts in the parking lot do the talking of just how lazy these workers are and how the managers don't make sure anything's done right..no carts inside two cart workers both on their phone.

Fake sale prices? Yes. Helpful staff? Yes. Will I shop elsewhere next time? Yes. In spite of the helpfulness of the staff in helping me find the Ryobi batteries that I found "on sale" "in store and online", the checker informed me that the store will not honor their website prices. The item page stated to check the store for quantities available. I won't pay $50 more, I won't order them online, and I WILL SHOP ELSEWHERE.

MISSING ITEMS - Never order anything on line. They don't track the product well. This is the second time it has happened, and the store give not help what so ever. That is if you can get a human in the first place. POOR SERVICE!!!!! I have not had issues with Lowes.

Jack and Sasha did a great job of assisting me with my questions and planning my projects within my budget. Kiya was extremely friendly and helpful, as well. This Home Depot Team has a positive customer interaction level I have never experienced at 5 other locations ; San Antonio and Corpus Christi Texas; Loxley Alabama; Pensacola, and Ft Walton, Florida. Those locations' managerial executives need to get a training program like this Tyler Team produces. Best I have ever experienced. Great job.

Bad customer service at the front desk as you walk in the door. I was wanting to buy a $400 item so I waited at the counter and got no help. So I moved to the end of counter where 2 ladies was standing and got no help and was told if i needed help i need to go somewhere in the store. So I left and went to Lowes. Love Lowes Great Customer Service

Can't ever get anyone on the phone if you call. Can't get anyone to help you in the store! Why the hell do you hire people if they aren't going to help the customers. NOW HERES THE STRAW THAT BROKE ME!!!! No more VETERANS DISCOUNT. WHAT is the matter with you people. Did China buy you out or what??? You're not making enough profit already. Do you even pay the zombies employees you have. This place is more problem than its worth.

Bought 1k worth of lumber and 20$ worth of it came broken, lady in pro was rude and wouldnt replace 20$ worth of broken boards on a 1k order, she asked me why i had an attitude when it was obviously because i was an unhappy customer because i couldnt get the broken boards replaced. So then i go to customer service and they say oh no problem you can just have the 2 boards. So the whole 20 minute argument with the rude lady in pro was just waste of time. She needs to study up on the stores policies and not be rude to customers when they are upset

Mother purchased a refrigerator and paid for installation. The installers do not move the fridge to another room unless you pay an additional 50.00. So for now, she will have two refrigerators in her kitchen until I can find a dolly and come move the old one. I understand if it has to go upstairs or something, but this is the same house, same floor. It is a shame that Home Depot provides only these services at a cost.Also, called the store to ask how much it is to have it moved, the lady Phillis working in appliances told me that it is 50.00 and too late, then hung up.

The young lady that was workinh at the checkout was extremely rude and confrontational. She tried to charge me full price for scrap pieces which I've "never" paid 30.00 for scrap for 4 pieces of garbage wood). I told the lady it was from the scrap bin 4 times and finally because of her attitude I left with nothing! I wasn't rude or disrespectful at all so for her to come at me because she had to do what she was being paid for was crazy.

The only thing I didn't like is they only have one cashier. That cashier is for contractors. The rest of us have to check ourselves out. We have to do all the work. They should at least give us $5 off our bill for doing all the work. Fire the Artificial Intelligence and put people back to work.

This place has come a long way. It used to be disorganized and impossible to find what you need or someone to help. I always shopped at Lowes. Lowes changed management a few years ago and became an absolute dump. Ever since Home Depot stepped up their game and is by far the most organized of the two. Plus, you can actually rely on the app and maps to be accurate with what they have and exactly where it’s at at least 9/10 times. Their prices are very competitive and they offer a wide range of options. I wish they had a better military appreciation program, it is really one of the worst things about their company.

Prices too high on some things, they seem to have trouble keeping their sale prices correct. Signs not in order with the product stocked. When I asked for help in the garden section she said I don't know, only one lady there. Told me they were short handed and made up excuses.... so I'd say 3 star.

Friendly and helpful place. The down side is being a costed by a sales person the moment you walk in. I have never been to a Home Depot before that has a person pushing windows or some service. It’s such a turn off.

First of all, their customer service is horrible. My wife and I built a house last year and used Home Depot for our cabinets, plumbing fixtures, and other miscellaneous things, spending almost $15,000 in about 6 months there. The only person who ever gave us any kind of good customer service was Sasha, the cabinet pro. Still, between things not being delivered on time, delivering the wrong items, the apathy and rudeness of the plumbing pro and service desk staff, and the difficulty of finding help in store, we will be taking out business elsewhere.

Good luck on finding anyone to unlock the cages for power tools. What use to take 5min now takes 30min. Everything is locked up and need a store employee to unlock it. When you ask a store employee in-person they give you an excuse as to why they can't help. I had to call the store just to get someone over here to unlock the ryobi cage. This place is atrocious!

The key duplicator machine was broken and there was a sign that said a technician was going to be there on the 20th of October and it is the 21st and it is still out of order so 15 minutes of my day wasted will be going to LOWES FROM NOW ON.

Am missing something here at this home Depot? I mean has customer service and lack of organization in the store is getting from bad to worse every year? I say this because to me that's how it is. Go ahead and buy something at home depot then return it and first off wait and wait for someone to help and then look at the employee who just hates being there because they are dead inside. After viewing this get asked why your returning it and then finally getting your money back. I have always had issues at home depot and not just in this store but in others. There is just a vibe you only notice if you pay attention. As for the organization of the store some areas are not kept clean. Meaning there are boxes around, items in different areas, or it's just dusty. I'm not saying it should look perfect because after it is a place where you buy tools, wood, plants, and more but come on. Lowe's is not as bad but they are trending to this kind of laziness. All I am saying is that employees are not happy with themselves or customers it reflects on how they treat and maintain the store.

Horrible location!!!.BUILDERS BEWARE.Almost everything I get from this location is damaged.I can never find lumber carts because the staff load them up.The store is always out of stock on important items.The store never has enough employees working the floor.The store leaves aisles and bays cluttered and unaccessible. It is very hard to get materials when it is blocked by a backload of inventory.I wish there was a closer hardware store that I can go to.

I go with my husband and ride a riding cart due to handicapped, and bring my dog with us. Able to get assistance when needed but sometimes must wait.

Buyer's be aware when Home Depot claims to offered no financial interests if you make a purchases over certain amount. I would suggest everyone review your billing. You willed find out that it's all smoke screen.

We didn't know where to find the stuff we were looking for and the employees there were very friendly very helpful the line was short the cashier was very friendly and very helpful I would go back and I would I recommend anyone that looking for tools tool accessories or home repair things

I really liked the helpfulness of the floor employees. Whenever one of them came by, they always asked if they could help. They were always courteous too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, was because the ladies restroom had a sign saying that it was closed due to running faucets and to use the employee restroom. When I went to do that, an employee told me I couldn't. When I explained why I was, though, he said it was okay.They had easy self checkout.
