I am very disappointed with the pharmacy clerks. They don’t smile and are not very friendly. I’m surprised, being in the Brookshire’s family. They frequently do not have items ordered by my doctor in stock. I do like the refill reminders.

EDIT: Rating raised considerably since I started shopping at their bakery. Easily the best grocery store bakery bread, hot dog and hamburger buns I've had. The french bread is also very inexpensive.The base prices are a little high and the atmosphere is a little warehouse/Sam's Club (concrete rather than laminate floors). Used to carry Fordhook lima beans, but now only seems to have inferior baby lima beans.Sometimes has CRAZY sales. I've gotten stuff as much as 80% off. It's like video game prices for food, I've never seen the like. Definitely rewards the careful (or flexible) shopper.

I ran out of gas and stopped at the gas station and paid at the pump. The pump broke after only giving me $1.15 of gas AND THEN they put a hold on the rest of the money on my card so now I'm stuck out here in the gd heat with no gas OR money. I hate this trashy place. That's literally stealing.

i dont understand, on the weekends, its like,they ignore customers i have called q super 1 foods for the deli and no one answered, i keep getting forwarded, but its not like that on weekdays,are their teenagers only on weekends!!! kids not taking business seriously

This past Saturday we go to this store and wanted to place a cake order and the worker was saying they could not take our order even though it was 6 days in advance order claiming they did not have a decorator. Got one of their on duties managers over to the bakery and he had the worker take the order. Call today 7/17/2023 and the bakery worker was like we can't do the cake order because they don't have a decorator. I am glad I hadn't paid for it yet. Just a waste of time

I don't shop here regularly but the store is arranged well, clean, and offers good sale items. The $19.99 meat mix and match is often a good way to stretch your budget for meal planning.

This location is on the other side of town. So with that said, I don't shop here often but I have family members that do. As for this trip, I went in and grabbed a few groceries that I needed. I was able to find everything that I needed. The store is neat and clean and the staff members are very friendly and helpful.

Great store. Haven't shop there is almost a year and disappointed they have self checkout. I really don't like checking myself out and being watched like I'm a thief.

Usually our go to store for meats as they usually have good selection and sales.Brookshire's needs to get on the same level as Walmart in the self checkout because that is mind numbingly horrible and I would prefer self checkout.The self check out is so horrible their own employees go to the other lanes.

I’m normally a five star reviewer, however yesterday I was sorely disappointed in the Super1, Troupe Hwy. After filling my basket and proceeding to checkout, checker informs me that it is cash only, because system is down. I usually use a credit card so, I was outed! I can understand a system going down, but what I don’t understand is no signs or other warnings. Letting folks fill their baskets and then losing out at the checkout is unacceptable ! I’m an 83 year old shopper and have not much spare time to waste.

Store was very clean. The prices were great. I went there to get my friend and I Pittsburgh hot links. I had told him paying a dollar a link was way too much because I could get a whole pound for $3.69 and they would taste just as good if not better and they would be fresh. He was very excited when I bought them home.It was after 5 but they were very fresh. The whole steam table looked great and fresh at 5. I ended up spending over 120.00 there it was so quiet and peaceful I just didn't want to go to another store and shop. I ended up getting everything I needed at one store. The customers were just as friendly as employees.

I stopped by to get gas because they normally have some of the best prices on gas.If you buy groceries at Brookshires, you can use those points for your gas at Super 1
