Great place for unique pet stuff they have a large selection of pet foods. Alot of cat trees, ferrets, birds, fish, anphibians and reptiles. They even have frozen feeders pinkies, mice and rats. Live bugs like mealworms too. Nice staff very clean. They support a local cat rescue as well called the catty shack often have adoptable cats you can adopt through catty shack.

I took my little cockapoo, Serenity, for a grooming appointment today at Petco in Tyler. It was our first time using their grooming services. Kristy and Tyler did a wonderful job! Excellent customer service and they took great care of my fur baby! Serenity feels and looks so great! We'll be coming back to Petco for our grooming needs for all 3 of our dogs from now on! Thank you again to Kristy and Tyler!

The employees here are always polite and helpful. I visit monthly for the grooming services, Rachel is fantastic! The only visits I have had to wait, it is obvious that people are busy working. I appreciate this locations cleanliness as well.

This place is ok. I mean it's nothing special. I went there when they were doing inventory so it was a bit messy. The staff was nice and they had a couple of clearance items. I have nothing bad to say about this place it's just ok. Update 8/6/23I changed my rating from a 3 star to 2 to mostly because how nasty the men's bathroom was. I have new pictures to show everyone but geez Petco clean up your bathrooms. Everything else is fine.

Will never try to use @Petco again for grooming services for Luna. My night schedule makes things difficult when trying to get her to a groomer so thought we'd try them out being they're open on Saturdays. 2 weeks ago just to make an online appt for 430pm in which the other get a message that day that they canceled the appt because their online appt scheduler shouldn't be making appointments at 430pm. So I make an appointment for today at 3pm, got the confirmation and then 2 days ago they message that I'd need to bring her in at 2pm so they can have 3 hours with her instead of only 2 hours. I tell them that I work nights and sleep days and need at least a decent nap when I come in but reluctantly agree to the 2pm slot. They message me today and ask if I can bring her at 1pm which I didn't get until (sleeping) and then proceed to send another message saying "unfortunately Luna's groomer had to go home sick and we've canceled your appointment." I'm done with these idiots! Ugh

Horrible customer service. The regular price posted on the store's website was $5.00 less than what was reflected in store. Told the cashier, and he argued and charged the higher price. Contacted store manager, and he hung up on me. Returned the item and went to Petsmart. Will not return to Petco for any reason.

We always use the same Petco when we are in Tyler, Texas. The staff is wonderful, the store is always clean and smells great and we always find the Merrick cat food in pate form that our cat will ONLY eat. :)

I take my furbaby in every 6 weeks for grooming and they take good care of her everytime. Everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them for all your grooming needs.

Very disappointed with the conditions that your sun conures are living in. As a avid bird owner I was appalled to see feces on their play toy, that’s right just one. The bottom trays were full of droppings and food. I clean daily for my birds as a responsible pet owner. You would think if your going to try and demonstrate proper bird care you wouldn’t allow such a illness risk to exist. Not to mention for birds that you want to sell for $1200 each the smell as soon as you walk in the door will make you want to turn around and walk out ..I have never been in a Petco that smelled so awful.

Shopping for fish. So many of the tanks are so dirty. Lots of dead fish in the tanks. They did have a nice selection. My daughter bought some Guppies and Mollies, they started dieing the next day. Petco tested her aquarium water and determined it was perfect and promptly issued a refund. She went to Petsmart and all the fish bought there are doing well.

The young man working at Petco yesterday evening on August 17 around 645-730 was fantastic! He answered all our questions about feeding lizards to talking to us about the ferrets. He was a wealth of info and took time to answer questions.There was also a volunteer who was taking care of the cats and she was incredibly nice as well. She comes in once a week to clean the cats' area and let them out for about an hour. She was very kind and let my children in to visit with the cats. She told me her volunteer role and my kids are asking if we can care for the cats too. We will be moving in a couple of months so I am not sure it will work out. But we were happy to have had the time to visit with her and the cats!

Found the perfect insulated, water repellant jacket for my service dog. Being a chi-weenie she really needed one with the upcoming cold snap. $20 well spent with food, $30. A one stop shop for all her needs, ..... Priceless.

Went in today to ask for some advice about my comet goldfish. Zach was in the aquatic department and was immediately willing and able to help me. I had a ton of questions, which he had no problem answering. He didn’t beat around the bush and gave me straight up advice. I currently have a gold and black comet goldfish who I thought was sick. Turns out he just needed a friend (in the picture) that Zach helped me pick out. Zach, you’re awesome at what you do! Thank you for being so helpful, polite and kind!

Haley is a great worker. She has helped us get our aquarium up and balanced, put the correct fish together for a happy environment, and made this an overall fun project that my grandchildren are enjoying. It's wonderful to deal with knowledgeable, helpful, friendly staff.

I've been looking for a better litter for my inside cat's that I've rescued over the years. I'm elderly and it's very hard on a fixed income. I ran across y'all's litter that looks great and is very reasonable in price and I can take the 2 20 lb buckets back and refill them each month when I go to Tyler Texas for my monthly pain management doctors appointment. I'm hoping they will like the new litter because it's going to make my life so much easier. Thank you Tyler Petco.

My daughter was there tonight between 9-10pm (Saturday night August 19th 2023.) She stood at checkout for several minutes. She and her boyfriend could hear employees talking in the back room. Made a comment about wondering if anyone was ever going to check them out, heard that the conversation paused. She said, “oh maybe now they are coming.” The conversation resumed. So, They put the stuff up and walked out. Still no one showed up at the registers. We have 4 pets we buy for. Lost a sale tonight and possibly future sales. Not acceptable. I get it’s the end of your shift, but pay attention.

Good luck getting any help in aquatics or crickets. Stood waiting for over ten minutes, three calls went out for assistance and the when the woman came, she helped a woman and her rowdy children that came after me, then continued to ignore me. I will take my business elsewhere because this is not even sort of the first time. I jokingly said to my husband "see you in an hour" when I got out of the car to go inside. Thank you for your horrible service, whoever is "working" in aquatics today.
