A great JCPenney to shop for whatever you need that JCPenney happens to sell. This location is clean, organized, and has friendly service. I couldn't complain about this store if I tried, nor do I have much more to say about this, so I'll share a story about this store:Once, back in 1991, I was shopping with my dad in this store. We were in the jeans section, and there was a little TV playing a Levi's ad, on loop. It was for their large style jeans, and the commercial had a reggae song about "livin' large". Fast forward to the modern era, and I am able to find that ad on YouTube. So, what I do is I enter Penney's from the north entrance and cue up the ad on my phone so I can share the joy. I do this every year at least once.

A shout out to Ali in customer service. She always has the most positive attitude and takes the time to engage the customer. She asks how your day is going and then actually LISTENS to your response! She’s a pleasure and such a rarity in customer service. Even with the long lines and busyness of the holiday season, she makes returns and order pick-ups as pleasant as possible. Fantastic job, Ali!

Extremely unprofessional. I went there today to get an outfit for an upcoming interview. I went to check out and the women were rude to other customers around me. An hispanic women didn't want their membership point system or whatever, and the employee helping her was rude . The customer repeated she didn't want to sign up and then looked at my cashier for assistance (due to the person ringing her up acting aggressive ) the cashier helping the woman (who wasn't hispanic) said "You're looking over at her as if she speaks Spanish, but I speak spanish". Although the hispanic woman speaking was speaking English, and my cashier was of asian decent .I have no idea why the woman ringing her up said that , but my cashier said "I am so sorry I think she misunderstood ,but you're good. " I heard the customer say "oh he'll no . " I wanted to get my business outfit and leave, but I couldn't let it slide because the customer service was so GHETTO !! Jcpennys isn't supposed to act like they are a dollar store. I felt so embarrassed shopping there. I even said " YAll are getting Crunk on your customers man" .. in response my cashier said " We get Crunk everyday . They work with us, we help them." Idk , so freaking low class and ghetto . I will never shop here again . Embarrassing , so embarrassing. THEY ACTED LIKE WE WERE IN A WAFFLE HOUSE IN DOWNTOWN HOUSTON .

Stopped in JCP for black Friday sale in Tyler,Texas great prices on men outerwear, clean store neatly organized great job! If I could the only thing need more checkers or cashier's other wise great experience

Shop online. Everytime I go in there the lines are long. Only 4 registers open. 2 on opposite ends of the store. Even the senior citizens was upset. I put my stuff down and went to a different store. Even asset protection is old. The only thing missing from this store is the smell of moth balls. Do better JCPenny.

We been here for hours trying to figure out which window curtains to buy for our house. The staffs here are highly friendly and are helpful. I enjoyed picking out which curtains for my room. They have really nice designs here. This JCPenney’s is clean as well! Mostly everything is affordable! I will come back soon!

Great store with lots to buy. Too big for me to see in a visit. Very friendly staff. I went today to find something specific that said was in stock. A lady helped me look for it for about 15 minutes and then another person said they just ran out of stock. So no big deal. Thankful to the worker for not giving up and doing a great job searching all around and in the back for me. I will be back. Thanks!!

I have been going to this JC Penney for my whole 47 yrs of life, you can get all the shoes and clothes your family needs and appliances bedding, linens, hand bags , jewelry, love JC Penney for the quality of the merchandise they carry on I forgot perfumes and Cologne so much

This store is too hot. Dressing room is stiffling. Customer service is bad. Spent an hour trying to get help in men's suits. Finally found a lady who said she was in shoes, but would send someone to help us. Waited another 30 minutes & finally left. The only reason I gave more than 1 star was the exceptional service at women's check out, Brandon who was helpful & friendly but not in a position to help in suits.

I haven't shopped here in years, and was pleasantly surprised. I found the perfect wedding rings, and the price was great. There was a wide variety if styles and prices. They sent mine off for resizing, and it didn't take long to get it back. My husband found a very nice casual jacket at a great price too! The staff was friendly and helpful!

Great Black Friday Sale, BEFORE Thanksgiving!There were excellent sales in every department and plenty of merchandise to choose from.Also the check out process was much easier as there was one central counter with many checkers instead of one or two customer check out centers with only one or two checkers.Very pleased with my purchases so much so that I came home and ordered more online!

I went to buy a pair of tuxedo pants. I looked at a few racks and found one in my size. I tried them on and they were a perfect fit. Once I found what I needed I was a bit disappointed I had to search to find a register to complete my purchase. But I understand some of the new changes. I applied my online discount coupon and got a great deal on my purchase. I live shopping at Penny's. It's my go to store

Visited during my lunch hour today and found some shorts and tops. Needed to try them on because I'm in the process of loosing weight so I'm usually not sure on size. I walked past at least 10 employees and not one even said hello, they were busy chatting with other coworkers, working on stock, or just leaning against a fixture. Finally found a dressing room near lingerie, it had a closed banner on it. Went around passed the clearance clothing found another fitting room, also had a closed banner on it. Went around to the men's side found another fitting room with a closed banner on it. Finally found an open fitting room in ladies dresses and the employee doesn't even say hello, just states "there's a line". I asked her if there was another fitting room available in the store and she pointed to the end of the line, which there was 6 ladies sitting in chairs and standing with hands full of clothing. I just told her I can't wait. I decided to just purchase the items and take them home to try on. Went passed 2 registers that were closed, came up to the register at the front entrance that had one cashier and 9 people in line. I asked the lady at the end of the line how long she had been waiting, she said 15 minutes NOT including the 30 minutes she had to wait to try on items. I just placed my 12 items on the nearest table and left. Don't use the excuse of not having people there, because there was plenty of employees there, just no one in the right spots to take care of customers. I won't be back until they can get their stuff together.

I was at the Tyler location on Saturday. The store is in the process of getting remodeled I understand, but doesn’t mean the store can’t be customer friendly. The store was a disaster. I over heard 2 associates even talking about how bad the store was. The fitting rooms were filthy. I didn’t even want to take my shoes off to try on anything. I had a hard time finding anything because fixtures were so closed together I couldn’t even shop. Fixtures were blocking the aisles, so it was like a maze to walk through the store. Definitely won’t be back.

We had a wonderful shopping experience. The store was fully stocked with quality fashionable merchandise. The store was organized and had a great layout. There were wonderful items to choose from and array of colors and sizes. The checkout line was long but moved quickly. Destiny was so professional, polite, and courteous. She neatly packed my purchases and was attentive. She was checking out customers twice as fast as other associates while remaining professional. We didn't feel hurried and she was so patient with us. I wanted another item in a different color and she recommended online purchases. Destiny is a champion for senior citizens. She entered my info and product info with amazing speed and accuracy. She greeted us with a smile, she made eye contact, handled our purchases with care, and she thanked us for our purchase. Destiny treated us like valued customers. Upon arrival, other customers in the parking lot hurriedly entered the store and I now understand why....the sale prices were fantastic!!!
