Just moved to Tyler. Took a load of home decor and dishes to donate this morning. We had a small 4’ brand new Christmas tree in an unopened box. The gentleman taking the donations said you don’t accept Christmas items. My husband said that was no problem and he would bring the tree back home. Then the Goodwill representative said the policy is if one item is rejected you can’t take any of them! We had no other holiday items, but he refused our entire load. He didn’t want to look in any of the boxes; he just refused everything! We had items from Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Rae Dunn - items that would have quickly sold. We had no problem with the one tree being refused. I don’t understand the policy to refuse an entire load, though.

I went to check out to buy a drink dispenser for $9. 00 the lady said that's cute but let me check something she took it in back and put $20. On it then wanted me to pay more!

I'm from a different state, so the layout of this store was much different than I'm used to. No big deal. I came to Texas to do some hiking and see a friend. I found 2 decent pair of hiking shoes and couldn't believe it. When I got to the counter, neither pair had a price sticker on them. I was told they couldn't be sold until they had gone back through processing which could take 2 days. That's absolutely ridiculous! If they can't be sold, they shouldn't be on the sales floor! I will not return to this location.

Love this store...bought myself and granddaughter alot of clothes and only spent $45. This store is clean and very well organized just like a regular dept store..prices are amazing. They even have wedding dresses and Coach handbags. Alot of baby items and some things are brand new with tags on them. I could spend all day in there because of so much to look through. I will be going back and on Monday if you're 55 or older you get a 5% discount off total of purchases!!

A unique shopping experience alright. If I could give no stars I would, not that the employees are horrible but policy's there really need to be changed. So I heard over the announcements many time for parents to be watching their kids. This is one thing they never have to worry about with my children, they are really respectful, quiet, and they always try to find something even if it's a small thing to help goodwill support the community. So my youngest who is 10 years old she found a hat, not a big item and didn't find anything else that caught her eye in here, but was willing to buy the hat and help good will. When brought to the counter the item hat no tag, and was told by the manager that that item could not be sold. We expressed that the hat is the only thing she wanted in there, and the hat is all she asked for. Instead of the manager taking a minute for the 10 year old child who's part of the community that this store thrives on, and going back to the back to the office and making a tag, which they are perfectly capable of doing because this is how they price their items at this establishment, she sent a 10 year old girl out of the door in tears and denied her purchase. And was told they do not have time to go make a tag for her, that I'd they treat her special they have to treat everyone else the same. Basically telling my child that she was not worth the time. My child left in tears and they lost about $30-50 worth of sales, and I garentee that I will be sure to leave a review everyday on this establishment on what they have done to my child until someone from corporate calls me to apologize to my child. I run a reputable business if I was to treat my customers that way my business would suffer tremendously, I look forward to informing the rest of the community about this establishments policy's, and customer service towards children everyday until my daughter gets her apology. They may contact me through here to receive a number to where they can apologize correctly.

I found a Dell computer in excellent shape. I also found a filing cabinet. Both items were what I was looking for. The ladies tops were in good condition, and there were a variety of styles. The store is well organized and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This is the worst goodwill I've been to. This hat my little sister wanted didn't have a tag (it's the only thing she picked out) we were told they can't sell without a tag,so we asked for the manager. Got told the same thing then told my little sister they said no we couldn't get it. The Manger only decided to see it after my little sister started to cry and walk out the store with my dad, the Manger said, "oh no I can't have that" and tried to selling to us. Worst goodwill to go to. I hope everyone with kids understand that even tho this is supposed to be a family place they truly don't care. They had no intention or care for my sister until she started crying and walked out my dad left about 30-50 dollars worth of clothing in that store bc they had no remorse for a 10 year old child's feelings, and sent her crying out the store.

Way overpriced for used, filthy items. Wanted $10 for a ridiculously well used 5 gallon terrarium. It's $45 new and I'd rather buy new and not have to clean off 3 inches of filth. Outrageous prices, poor selection, and very filthy items. I don't recommend shopping here.

Honestly sometimes the employees can be the rudest, but for the most part they aren’t. One time I found a couple of chairs for $30 each, and let the manager know I’m buying them for the church, she gave them both to be for $30, it totally made up for my previous visit where everyone working seemed to be in horrible moods (none of which was there again). Have a bad experience? Try again

I've been in much nicer Goodwill stores. I found a frame my wife liked and when I went to buy it, I couldn't. There was no price tag on it, guess it fell off somewhere down the line. Cashier said she couldn't sell it to me. It had to go back through processing again. So I went to hangers of hope and found a much nicer frame.

The whole atmosphere of this store has gone way downhill 😣Attitudes are stressed and not friendly or helpful. Too warm inside to shop comfortably or try on clothes. The prices for things are higher than the other stores like them, and they stopped playing music in the store (which was partially why I enjoyed going there). Used to be fun, pleasant, friendly, and upbeat.......now none of that.

I was shopping in your store when I was rudely told to put my mask on before I could even get in to the door way I did have it around my neck and it was very rude to tell some one from the parking. Put on a mask before they even had a chance to enter the store and put it on if this kind of behavior continues at your establishment I will no longer come to your store I will take my business somewhere else please make a point to your employees to be courteous to others and respectful give people a chance to put their mask on before they walk into your store don't just assume that they're notThank you

Went here today with my Mom. Grabbed some dirty Care Bears plushies. These bears were cute, but very very dirty. One was even falling apart! The stitching was coming undone on the belly symbol, and elsewhere around the bear. I did not mind. I buy dirty/used plushies all the time, and clean them up. I get to the checkout, and my total is nearly $30. Im like whoah whoah!! How much are these bears? Because I only had 2 other items that were just a couple dollars. $10.99 and $8.00 😮 what the-?!!! I told the cashier to take them off. DIRTY TOYS FOR BRAND NEW PRICES. Now these were NOT VINTAGE. These were care bears from the newest series. Probably only like 5 years old. That is waaaaay to much. We saw many items we would had loved to brought home but priced too high. I will not be shopping at this location anymore if these are the kind of prices they are going to go with. Better off buying the items not used elswhere. Goodwill is a secondhand thrift shop. What is up with places price gaulging???

Employees worry more about who is wearing a mask than doing their actual job. Tried to buy a pair of jeans that were on their racks but had no price tag and she tells me they can’t sell them to me. Instead of calling a manager to ask for a price she kept my purchase behind the counter and refused to check me out.

Had an awful experience due to one cashier in particular by the name Phoenix Slater. I don't know what had got you in such a careless mood but my family and I didn't appreciate the "care" you took to our glass ware and ceramics. Be better and be nicer to people.

Okay selection of merchandise. Valued customer program still down. One floor team member kept giving me unsolicited advise on Covid 19. He kept coming very close to me--within a foot and leaning down to share his wisdom. Also, his advise on heat strokes were completely inaccurate and dangerous.

Starting to get overpriced with less quality items when you consider hangers of Hope which have much better items and prices and you can negotiate on them if they've been sitting on the shelves a while. I will still continue shopping there though because sometimes you do find some really good deals but overall, I do not enjoy it the way I used to. Tired of seeing the new junk kind of items that they have the cheap kitchen things and that sort of thing that they sell

Probably the largest and cleanest Goodwill store I've ever been in. Great for my Mom who is mobility challenged. Staff made sure EVERYBODY had there mask on 100% of the time. That was important toe.

Always love going to Goodwill. You can get designer things that have been worn maybe one time for just a few dollars. They pretty much have everything. Clothes, furniture, books, Bibles, sporting equipment, anything you want. And the staff is always good and friendly when I go here. I will keep coming back as long as they keep treating me friendly.

I go to alot of Goodwills and this one was sparse and organized poorly. Clothes are not organized by size. Shoes are on racks on top of clothes, also not organized by size.

The organization skills that were placed within this store is not at all well to say the least. The inside looked like a tornado just went through everything. But, other than that there were some friendly workers that were presented to me and my family.

Nice place! I was able to grab a great deal on a file cabinet and get a great deal on a used toy for my kiddo. was impressed the toy worked and had a full battery for only 1.99!

Its a good store, they always have a lot of people in there. They don't have a good selection on furniture like they used to before, but I may just come on the wrong days. They need more cashiers when u check out, they generally only have two lines. That's not a lot for a big store.

They claim they test electronics. Bought a dvd player with the Blu-Ray emblem. The start screen reads Blu-ray. It will not play them. Does test mean it powers on? Don't buy any electronics here. Their "test" is negligent.

Never been inside but a very convenient way to donate products. You just drive right up a circular drive and unload. The worker is very helpful and asks if you want a receipt. Everyone benefits from repurposing old and unused items.

I have been shopping here for over 15 years. I absolutely know it has only become a better place every year. Every store has its problems but this place has unlimited designer clothes. I personally know alot of the employees and they are always so nice. And helpful.

Went in there the other day to shop and was told I needed a mask. I asked if the city of Tyler was asking good will shoppers to wear mask and was told no, its a store policy. I was then told that if I wanted to shop that I would have to buy a mask from them, $ 3.00. I told them that it is very "convenient" that they decided that they want shoppers to wear masks and they just happen to have some for sale. I asked if the mask were n95 and a blank stare is all I received. No doubt the mask were donated to the store, shame on you for hustling your customers

I don't understand why they sort clothes according to color instead of size. I bet ya'll got clothes in there from 5 years ago still on the racks...nobody wants to waste time going in a store "hoping" to find the right size, so you look through a whole isle of a certain color only to find there isn't even anything in their size. Well u just wasted 30+ minutes in that case. Instead of walking in, going right to your size and seeing automatically weather something is there or not. I dont even shop here for clothes because of this. It can sit there before I attempt to look back through it.I'll give 5 stars when I see the clothes sorted by size. 👍
