Please do yourself a favor and go to ANY pharmacy in town but here. I came to pick up my daughters medicine at 5:45 PM after leaving the ER, the lady at the window tells me it will be done in around 15 mins and to come back so I stay in the parking lot. I come in at 6:01 to a closed pharmacy, every employee still in the pharmacy, but refused to give me my child’s medicine despite me coming back when they said (with no mention of them closing at that time) and them showing me the medicine filled/bagged. The rudest, most inconsiderate employees I’ve ever encountered.

I spoke over the phone to the pharmacist and was trying to ask if I could get a replacement Covid card. He proceeded to tell me that after looking my name up that I wasn’t in his system, and I told him I may have gotten it done at another location. I then told him the location that I thought was correct, and before I got another word out, he just abruptly hangs up the phone. The worst customer service I have ever received from a healthcare provider, has no empathy, and definitely is in the wrong line of business if your patience is that short. 0/10 do not recommend this pharmacy. If you need clarity about any information without rudeness, this is not the pharmacy for you friends.

I rarely give a negative review. I can see why this location has 1.9 stars. The automated service can never find the information and 27 mins on hold with no answer. I would like to have an easier time obtaining my prescription. The young lady in the pharmacy was less than friendly, yesterday and today the service, when you call, is equally as poor.

If I could give a negative star I would, worst pharmacy in Tyler nor do they know how to communicate. I've been trying to get my prescription transferred for 2 days now and couldn't get any help . Went in on Friday to pick my prescription up and was told that it was being worked on still just to come back 2 hours later and tell me they don't have it in stock !!! How is that possible??? Somebody make it make sense!!! I call to get transferred and whatever disrespectful creature they have answering the phone kept hanging up in my face!!! I will never return to this CVS ever again and I suggest everyone stay away from here!!!

You can’t make this up. This is my fourth trip to this location. The first three times after receiving a text that prescription is ready, only to be told the are out of stock upon arrival. The fourth visit I explained the all of the details and asked to have my prescription relocated to another store. She had me wait and came back to tell me that they would have it ready in 30 minutes. Hmm interesting all the sudden you’re not sold out? I came back in 30 minutes and sat here only to be ignored, finally after pressing the bottom over and over they came on the phone to tell me they are closed. I told her their website and Window both say 8:00 p.m. she asked me to come in, I explained I cannot due to having a disabled person with me. She asked me to pull back around so that she could let the other people know. I did and then she again ignored me. Finally came back on and told me it is going to be a while. I’m sorry how long? I’ve already been here for over an hour and still nothing. If it was not life or death to get this medication tonight, I would have just called the Doctor and asked to move to another Pharmacy. By far the worst Pharmacy I have ever came into contact with. I will never use this location again and will be contacting corporate.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy in Tyler. As others have said, drive-thru time is ridiculous, absolute lack of communication concerning your prescription, especially if there is a delay of some kind. The majority of the employees don't care or don't want to help resolve problems. Store Manager must be clueless about the daily operation of this store.I have moved my entire family's prescription needs out of this store and CVS to a different pharmacy. If enough people walk away and the financial loss is seen by CVS, then maybe someone will start to address the issues.

Had not realized I called the “high” end CVS and I don’t know if I got talked to the way I did because I’m Hispanic … I asked a simple question and a no mam was fine , then called to cancel and she goes “NOT A PROBLEM” and hangs up didn’t even ask for a name , didn’t even give me a chance to say Thank you! I’m sorry you can tell right off the bat I’m Hispanic by my last name I’m guessing . Called CVS on 5th street and did not get this attitude this lady gave me!!!!

An abomination of a pharmacy. Called before to get my son's prescription and they said no problem it will be ready when I get there. I get there and all of a sudden the pharmacist had only arrived at 2pm and they are 200 prescriptions behind. None of which was said over the phone. A little communication goes a long way. CVS, you need to revamp this location or shut it down and turn that area into backstock. It's that bad.

Absolutely awful service and lazy/rude employees. Waited in like for about 15 minutes to get up to the window and they told me they were supposed to go to lunch 2 minutes ago and wouldnt let me pick up my ready RX. That was all the time I had that day to go pick up a very urgent medication. Worst pharmacy in tyler without a doubt.

I’ve been filling RX here for yrs now. I switched from Walgreens because of such a long wait time there. I’m usually pleased when visiting but I deducted stars because of the rude checkout lady in pharmacy today. Not sure that she realizes how short she is with every customer but I’m a nurse I can take it if necessary. What I do not appreciate is when your short with our elderly population. If any customer has questions or ask for additional help old or young we should be treated kindly and respectfully. I know good help is hard to come by but CVS please monitor how your customers are treated.

Like other reviews I would give zero stars if I could.Rude employees at pharmacy drive thru. Have had issues in the past and again today. Asked Precious the manager for district managers information she refused to give it to me and said they weren't allowed to give me that information. I asked Lori again she wasn't willing to help. I was willing to give my information for them to pass on to the district manager for a call back. Sara slammed down the phone and her and Lori proceeded to walk off laughing. Refusing to help me. Today was not the first time I have had issues with this location. But this was the first time I tried to speak to someone at a higher level.SHAME ON CVS THAT THEY ALLOW THEIR EMPLOYEES TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT AND UPPER MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE AND DOES NOT WANT TO BE BOTHERED!!

Most unprofessional Pharmacy ever. Texted me saying my prescription was ready for pick up so I immediately drive here only to find out they are closed. Day before they texted me saying it was ready, but when I came to pick it up they said they put it on “back file”. When I asked why and what back file was, no one knew or could answer. Bunch of idiots. Not sure how they passed pharmacy school. If you don’t want to fill prescriptions just shut your pharmacy down.

I'm changing where I fill all of my prescriptions because of the insanely long drive thru wait times. I want to support CVS as a company, but cannot continue to support thus location. I have had to leave before being helped more than once. They must allow patients to sit here stopping up the line while they fill prescriptions. I've sat behind one car in the line for 30min before. I'm sorry, but what can possibly take 30min!?! Don't make everyone else wait! Tell the person to drive back through the line and help others while their prescription gets filled! It's absurd. I've also had to wait while they re-run insurance or they tell me I'm going to owe something and I ask them to check again and then magically it is covered. I'm actually sitting in the drive through line while I write this review with a grumpy toddler because we've been in this drive thru line for 40 minutes!!!!

This has to be one of the worse CVS pharmacies. I called at 4:49pm and they finally picked up the phone at 6:18 only to tell me they couldn’t send my prescription to another CVS even though they texted me at 4pm telling me it was out of stock and if I would like it transferred to call them so that’s what I was trying to do. This place needs new management and to have people working there that actually care!

Got my Rx's here for about a year. Only 1 pharmacist is competent @ this location. Repeated horrible experiences with various pharmacy techs. One gave out medication advice that was none of her business. This advice should have only come from my doctor or MAYBE the pharmacist. I waited 20 minutes on hold for a pharmacist on 2 consecutive calls. On the 3rd try I waited 15 minutes. I was NEVER allowed to speak w/the pharmacist on any of these attempts. STOP HIRING INCOMPETENT CLERKS CVS!!!TOTALLY DONE WITH THIS ENTIRE COMPANY. 100% LOSER.

Went to purchase nausea medication. Could not find anything on the isle so went to the pharmacy to ask at the consultation counter. A woman looked up from her computer and asked me what she could help me with. Apparently I was suppose to yell to her because she couldn’t come to the counter. I asked her if there was an otc antiemetic. She looked at me like I was stupid and said she didn’t know what that was. She works in a pharmacy and doesn’t know what an antiemetic is. I asked her for anti-nausea medication. She said they don’t really make anything for that. Then she offered to sell me something for dizziness. Her coworker told her they were out. So she told me I could go look around. I said, either you have something or you don’t, are you saying that you don’t have anything? She again offered to sell me the “dizziness” medication that she is out of stock on. All the while she couldn’t even have the professionalism to come to the counter. I left angry. I just looked at their website and found CVS brand anti-nausea medication described as an antiemetic. There are also 2 brand names that this store is supposed to carry according to their website. Five stars for the kind fella that assisted me at checkout, but they lost 3 for the incompetent woman at the pharmacy.

for a while I could not understand why this pharmacy was rated so low. I do now. Today there was only two people there, and one told me that they could not answer the phone because they were too busy. They had listed my medication in a text to me, but when I got there it was not prepared, and the lady said I have to come back tomorrow. This has happened before.

The pharmacy at this location is beyond pathetic. Long line, each person in front of me was told their prescriptions were filled and were not. Each given a 20 minute ETA. When it was my turn, they lost one of mine and said it needed to be refilled. The pharmacist was calling a Walgreens pharmacy for a 'consult' ON SPEAKER PHONE.

Sad experience. Drive-thru is an hour minimum wait and I watched 3 people behind me give up and leave. There's no escape once you get trapped in the line and the staff could not care less. I waited almost 2 hours after my scheduled time to test and when I get to the window, I was told the testing hours are over and that I waited in line for almost 2 hours for nothing. I got called a liar by the pharmacist, Donald, who refused to listen to me and proceeded to whine about how no one would read a sign if they bothered to put one up when I suggested it. Overall a poor experience - you'd be better off going to Walgreens because this location is a sad mess with a sorry excuse of a pharmacist.

Maybe I’m the exception to the rule, but my wife and I live right down Shiloh Road from here, and I can’t recall ever spending over MAYBE 10 minutes in the drive thru line. Now, IF I happen upon the drive thru and I can clearly see there are half a dozen cars ahead of me, I DO have enough sense to park my car and walk inside for faster service. I DO also have enough sense to move my prescriptions to a different pharmacy if one didn’t meet my expectations. There are dozens of pharmacies in South Tyler. And I can honestly tell you that CVS is generally better than Walgreens. I’m certain that a pharmacy from hell is better than the Walgreens at Troup and The Loop. I wouldn’t go back there is they offered me free prescriptions for life. And oddly they have 3.4 stars on Google Reviews which is a passing grade. I dare anybody to use them and tell me they’re better than the worst CVS on the planet.

This pharmacy couldn’t care less.I had an emergency where I didn’t have my blood pressure medicine because I was unexpectedly out of town and when I realized it I call at 7:55pm and they close at 8:00pm. I was minutes away and ask if he could just wait a couple minutes for me to get two pills. I showed up at 8:03pm and the pharmacy was empty and locked up.I was in great need and they couldn’t even wait 180 seconds for me to get Me my much needed medicine.What a shame.I hope I’m ok tonight.

This pharmacy should be closed down ASAP!! They make lots of mistakes even when you tell them your prescription has changed and they have an order from the MD, they still drop the ball. They will tell you there are no refills when the doctor has sent them over months ago. You have to tell them and they will then look and realize you do have refills. Amy has a very aggressive tone and is very rude. My directions were not on the prescription bottle, but on the very last page of informational literature and when I asked for the directions, Amy didn’t want to give them to me although I already read it, but my medicine count and number of days to take the medication was different and this was the reason for asking. She was so rude. I asked her to change her tone because this is not how you treat anyone. This place is a joke!!

This place is still 10x better than Walgreens. Pharmacists should call you back when they say they will (and sometimes they don’t) scripts are usually filled quickly and without issue. They don’t run out of supplies, etc. Overall you get the impression that they want to take care of you just might be understaffed is all. Call times have gotten longer over the past few weeks to a month. If you’re in a hurry, I’d recommend going up there versus calling. By far the best pharmacy still in tyler

You will be lucky if you get your prescription before your car runs out of gas. Seriously slow, 30 minutes wait in the best of times. People pull up to the drive thru and only then hand them their Rx, then wait there for them to be filled, rather than call ahead or go inside, and the store let's them do it. Brookshires is across the street, Walgreens around the corner. Just choose any place but this.
