Great place to have your truck service, we got stranded with eletrical problems, Roy was quick to diagnose and find the problem, unfortunately we had to spend a few nights waiting for the part to arrive, no problem staff was very accommodating, we stayed at our truck in the parking lot. In the day the have a great lounge room with comfy recliners, huge TV, free washer and dryer, clean restrooms and even a shower, those guy thought of almost everything.....vending coffe machine.Great job MHC !!

They were able to get me in quickly, I had to wait until the next morning for a part that had to be ordered but they had me on the road the next morning. The Service Manager was an Owner Operater at one time so he knows what it means for "the little guy" to be down for repairs. Great group of guys!

I came in with a volvo truck with Air conditioning issues.Volvo trucks jacked me around for 2 days waiting for ac compressor.I came into Kenworth Abilene texas and they got on my problem right away.Britney ordered me a compressor over night. Amazing service at this garage.

Super Nice Team! Ron service manager went above an beyond to get me back on the road. Stacy service writer was extremely helpful. Scott in parts made sure my parrs where ordered the day before to get them there in a timely manner to be installed. I was under a hot load. Great service and they helped me on the prices. I had a major air leak and arrived late in the afternoon. Although Kenworth did not have the part in stock , they were able to order the part I needed and it arrived the next morning as promised… I was rolling shortly after that. the staff here are good people and the Technicians are knowledgeable and thorough with their work. I can trust them to do the work correctly. I highly recommend this shop!

Called ahead because I was in full derate, pulled in and was immediately taken care of. Hooked up computer cleared derate updated computer and was on my way within a couple hours. Bonus was no charge.

I was heading to Fort Worth from Phoenix on 1/13/22 and my truck went into limp mode just before Abilene. Stayed the night there and called MHC when they opened in the morning and they said to bring it right in and they'd see what they could do. They diagnosed it was a NOX sensor but didn't have one in stock. A few calls later they found one locally, went and got it, installed it and ran a forced regen. Engine light wouldn't clear but the said it would as i drove, which it did 50 miles later. Made it to Forth Worth 28 minutes before the yard closed on Friday for the weekend. Had it not been for MHC going above and beyond that Fridasy, it would've added 2 more days to my run.The girl in service along with the service manager Ron really got things done.Thank you again!

Went in for a blinker on my trailer not working I've sat out side here for hours with my pet. I told the service desk guy I had limited funds available and he told me not to worry they would work with me. At noon I call em and am told to get a room. So I walk in and ask what the deal was he explained they wasn't sure still so I asked how much I owe at the moment and he tells me 780$ 4 hours worth of work...I was watching the guy there is zero chance he worked 4 hours on my yruck even close to its I told em to put it back together now 595$ later my blinker still don't work and I still don't know what's wrong with it! They are crooks I highly recommend not to come here

I took my 2017 T680 to Yall on 25 July due to the VGT Actuator being faulty. The VGT was replaced and I came to get the Truck that following Saturday. When I picked up my Truck the Engine Light was on. A mechanic check and said there's a code they couldn't cleared. He cleaned the battery terminals connectors and I went on my way. By time I got to Big Springs I had both Check Engine lights on. I ran Sands loads that night and the next day. I noticed I was using alot of DEF Fluid and losing Horsepower. I took the truck back to MHC that Monday. They took 4 days and said I needed a J3 Harness and a Aftermarket Control Module. They changed both parts. I show up yesterday 23 Aug to get my truck back nearly a week and a half to do a 10hrs job. I did my Pre-trip and found the Truck a Gallon low on Oil and the Check Engine light on. The Mechanic said it could be a bad ECM but had no way to check it , then stated the EMC could be good because the Codes were interment or the Software could be corrupted. They don't hook to the Truck. I added the Gallon of oil and Bob tailed back to Odessa. Before I hit exit 200 traveling west on I-20 both Check engine lights came on again. I called and talk to the Mechanic asking if the New VGT could be faulty and he said not likely. The Truck is using DEF Fuild and Oil. They never showed my the J3 Harness they removed from the truck. If I didn't know what price i was given on J3 Harness I was going to be Ripped off over $1k.I want the VGT Actuator Check and/or Replaced and not have someone tell me that is not possible that New VGT actuator can't be faulty.Also when a Owner Operator's Truck is in the Shop don't send the Mechanic on Other jobs or doing a PDI on New Trucks.

Incredible ice cream and toppings. Large scoops with many delicious flavors that you can mix and match.Delicious hamburgers 🍔 😋, fries, and other hot food for enjoyment.Several Braum's are also Mini grocery stores with fresh fruits and vegetables along with snacks, milk, orange juice, and, of course, delicious Braum's Ice cream in to go tubs.

Trucks break and when it comes to Kenworth, it often has a hefty price tag.My aftertreatment system ended up being my problem, which is very common. When they perform the work they did an excellent job, probably some of the best quality work I've seen in a long time. Ricky is a stellar mechanic in a very cool guy. The price I was quoted ended up being tripled due to the fact that they performed work without notifying me or getting my authorization to do so. Under normal circumstances this could be really problematic, but I totally got the sense that they were actually just trying to get the work done quickly to get me out the door and back to work.When I called to talk to the service manager voicing my concerns and to see where we miss connected he ended up not being there and was instead handled by the general manager Nick. Nick is a true professional and he did take the time to help me out any shaved off about 8 hours of Labor to help me out.All Things Considered truck repairs are never found in you're always going to lose a lot of money in the process. Even with communication challenges the experience was still very positive. Dealerships are always going to be more pricey no matter who the dealer is or the make of the truck that's just how it goes. All of my concerns were addressed, my truck was fixed, and the end result was I got back to work in just a couple days thanks to these guys.

I got a check engine light near Tyler TX due to a bad injector. I called every Kenworth along I-20 and none of them could take me in till after the new year,-9 days later... I called and spoke with Ron and he said bring your truck on over and we will do our best to get you back on the road. I pulled in to the lot, dropped my trailer and he opened a bay door and waived me in. Diagnosed my truck and said he would have 2 injectors replaced and have me back on the road by lunch time. He showed me to the drivers lounge that has shower/bathroom. Ron made me feel like I was at home, Ron is very professional and him and his team are nothing but awesome. I highly recommend this Dealer to anyone and everyone. He even gave me a christmas discount! I am one happy customer as Ron turned a bad situation into a not so bad situation for me, thanks Ron!

Independent shop owner here. Horrible experience with Stephen and Brittney and this specific store multiple times. Quotes one thing, charges another. Parts were suddenly higher the next day. On a step! Picking up parts at the counter from Brittney, tells me its 85 shipping and puts 150 on the invoice. Was quoted 60. Call her out on it, shrugs her shoulder. Always too busy talking to coworkers to help paying customers. Ended up paying hundreds extra that I had to eat as I quoted the job. Buy your parts elsewhere. I sure will.

This Kenworth deserves way more then 5 stars, my husband and I would like to Thank Everyone there at the Abilene Texas Kenworth, especially Ron Hanna, Roy, Taylor, Stephen, Kyler for the awesome customer service, mechanics, hard work, and turn around time to get our truck done. It all started when we had an issue with our DPF system and among all things under a hot load, they worked us in even though the shop was busy, after diagnosising the problem the mechanics worked very hard to get our truck done. We only had to wait on one part which would be next day, Stephen our mechanic made sure to get the parts they had on the truck so we could stay in our truck and with our load until the other part came in. When the part came it was not the same, only because the original part was discontinued, the service manager Ron went above and beyond to get the new replacement part by driving all the way to Odessa TX which is 2 1/2 hrs. away, 5hrs round trip. Once Ron returned Taylor and Kyler worked hard at finishing our truck up, only to run into an update issue. Roy another mechanic came back in to help solve our computer update issue with Taylor, they all worked late which they did not have to, but they did to get our truck done and get us going due to the load we were under, in which my husband and I are very grateful and appreciative for the best customer service ever received by any Kenworth. We would highly recommend this shop, reasonable prices, awesome customer service, awesome work, keep you informed, go aboveand beyond and actually care about drivers. First, I want to apologize for my bad review to this MHC location. The staff haven't the fault that my truck got broken in the weekend.Yeah, I did a bad review, because, nobody said anything to me,yes I'm just the driver,But I have the right to know how long will take my truck to be fix it, you can't just ignore us, at least as a courtesy. Service department has gotten better. Parts has gone to pot. Tried ordering clutch rod said I had to make my own. Needed wiper motor insisted I had to buy assembly. Got just motor at a different MHC.. live 10 miles away go to FW Beaumont or Houston Rush x i20 is usually cheaper also

A simple primari fuel filter $24 dls down Houston and any other place same same filtercost from $11 - 14 dlsAir filter $109 each same filter anywhere elseWorth from $49 to $55 definitely this place have crazy price to high👎🏼

01-14-20 UPDATE,Once the branch manager, Mickey Houk, became aware of my situation, he reached out to me and apologized and informed me of the mishap in the ordering process. He informed me that the part had been ordered and it was installed and out the next day.THANK YOU MICKEY!!Service department was quick about checking me in and finding the problem. This was Friday 01-10-20. Call back this morning 01-13-20 and a gentleman in service says, part doesn't show to be ordered. I call again 30 minutes later and lady in service can't tell if part has been ordered.

Had a torsion bar replaced and a year later it failed the DOT inspection. Looks like they either install the wrong one or left out the big washers.Tried to get through to the service department after 30 minutes on hold listening to them brag about how great they are, I gave up. This place is on my blacklist.

Walked up to parts counter. There were 4 present. 3 of the 4 were talking to one another, the other was looking for something under counter. All 4 employees made eye contact with me but never acknowledged me. I wait there for 4 minutes and still no one wants to help, so i walked out and went elsewhere for truck parts. Bad customer service at this place!!!!!
