If I could rate negative stars I would. I came from out of town to this store to find s specific item. I arrived at 9:55 pm. The sign was dark and the doors were locked. I saw a woman standing at the register and so I told her through the door it's not ten o'clock yet. She said it's 5 minutes till. We're closed. I said to her please ma'am I came from out of town. I am just looking for one thing and I will pay with a debit card. I promise I'll be really quick. She said no we're closed and the register is already counted down. I repeated that I would purchase with a debit card. I again said please I will be really quick. She said it's all turned off where closed. I said ma'am you're not supposed to close until ten o'clock. Please. She waved me off with a dirty look and turned back to looking at the register and writed whatever she was writing. So then I said what is your name? I'm going to call the corporate office. She waved her hand back at me again shewing me away like a fly. By this time another female employee had showed up. Neither of them would look at me, so I took a picture of them to send to corporate. I found the corporate office phone number and found out that they don't have 24 hour customer service. While I was sitting in my vehicle trying to navigate family dollars automated phone service, both employees came to the door wanting to leave. When they saw me the 1st employee shewed me away again waving her hands at me trying to make me leave. I wanted so bad to wait there just to be a jerk and make them stay late since that's what they were apparently trying to avoid. Just wait for them to call the police on me so that I could explain to the police what was going on or call them myself, again just to be a jerk, but It was 2 women and I didn't want to scare them. I totally get If it was 1 or 2 minutes till close. But if everything was turned off and counted down at five minutes till they must have closed at nine forty or nine forty five. The rude one is a middle aged African American Woman with light colored braids. I am giving a physical description because she refused to tell me her name. If she worked for me, she would lose some pay and she would have to take some kind of customer service training.

Employees were not welcoming or helpful.Cashier was very uninterested in selling me several packs of cigarettes of my brand "Marlboros".I felt like I was imposing on her to do her job. Very unpleasant experience overall!

Visiting my grandson at Tulia, from Arlington, this little.town, and this store was a breath of fresh air. Leaving town around 12:30, I needed a bottle of water on my way back home, I had change left from my visit. The cost was 2.00 and I only had $1.75... I told the young lady I needed to go out to my car and get a quarter. She told me she had a quarter, and pulled it out of her pocket, and finished my sale for me. WOW! I KNOW ITS ONLY A QUARTER, but that was so sweet. Totally unexpected. Wish the metroplex was this way again.Thank you from a big city girlBecky
