I love that the store is close and convenient, however, the employees need to be trained for customer service. They are probably overworked and underpaid, but they chose their employment. When you're in a customer service job, the first thing you learn is "the customers are always right", but the employees working at this store look mad and could give a flip about customer service. Oh, and don't think about returning something or have something removed from your receipt before finalizing the purchase. That is such an inconvenience. I will say that in the past there were two employees that were just alright, and there's one gentleman now that has it figured out, but the rest are absolutely awful. The only reason I gave 2 stars is the convenience. My daughter moved close to us a year or so ago and she absolutely hates to go there regardless of the convenience. People should be thankful they have a job. As I said, you have a choice.

There’s been a lady who works the register lately… SHES AWFUL!! So rude!! Never even says “hi” when I walk up to the register. I get one word out of her the entire time… and that word is “ID?”. Like dang woman. Can’t even smile? She’s awful. Maybe she was having a bad day one time?? Nope. Everyday like that.

Woman with long grey hair is a most unpleasant person. You stay “Hi” you get a grunt. I will probably walk out and drive someplace else if I see her in there again.

Tried to drop at package off for FedEx. Staff member said I couldn't because it would be in the way behind the counter. My package was 3x2x2 ft.Whats the point of Dollar General offering a FedEx drop point if they only take packages that are convenient for the employees.

I like the store but the girls that work here are the unfriendliest people I have ever met! I go in often & they refuse to smile. They must hate their jobs! Why are you working in customer service if you don't even like people?

The Dollar General always has the very best deals. I always save money when I shop there. Dollar General has budget friendly items that are still quality items.

They need to change the name to General Store and drop the Dollar. Good news there is a little bit of everything and no lines to skip the grocery store. Food items are cheaper elsewhere and the staff is unfriendly.

The staff at this location was incredibly rude. The lady working in the store was put out I asked about fans and where I could find them. She stated they didn’t have any. But when I went to get another item , there they were all lined up atop a shelf. When I got to the check out I informed the male clerk I needed one as they were too high to reach, He too, was completely put out I asked for it. Never said a single word to me. Not hello, how are you, thank you , nothing ! Just shaking his head all exasperated I wanted a fan. Come on. There is no reason to be so rude. Even the customer before me and the one after me were not even spoken to or acknowledged when they spoke. If you are so unhappy & hate your job so much go elsewhere. I get people may have bad days but you are working in a store with the public and common customer service should be the forefront. Don’t expect people to shop in your store if they are going to be treated rude. I will drive out of my way to avoid this location just because of customer service.

It's Amazingly convenient being just around the block from my house. The people who work there are always very nice and welcoming, store is set up nice, Easy to find things. And stores mostly well kept for the most part.

Friendly service, good range of product, well stocked. Only issue I had was some of the placement in some of the isles didn't quite make sense. Overall cleanliness is probably a 5/10.

Went into dollar general with my mom for some small groceries needed for her house. When getting to registrar the worker spoke rudely and disrespectfully to my mother and told her she could not sell an item to mother. I don’t care why you can’t sell something to me. What I care about is why you feel the need to speak so horribley to the customer. My question is why not go get the manager to fix the problem to sell my mother what she came in to get before going home. I don’t post reviews often, but this worker will prevent me from ever returning to the dollar store.

Good deals sometimes but customer service sucks. Only one guy seems to care about his job and know about how the store works. Everyone else seems to just hate life. Also when I told one girl about how some of the signs were misleading about things being on clearance she pretty much could not have cared less. Her response was “we had no where else to put it.” Ummm ok!? Well re word your sign then.

I am just now leaving this Dollar General Store on the website it says that they are open until 10. It was 8:55 when I walked up to the door and the girl said that they were already closed and had the door locked! Things are tough enough with everything going on in the world right now! I understand closing early but if you're closing at 9 then close at 9! Not 10 till!! Not 5 till! Close at 9!!

Rosehill DG is a good experience. Clean facilities, friendly helpful staff, and shelves are well stocked. Sometimes traffic makes it a bit difficult to enter and leave the parking lot but it is such a well manages store that putting up with the traffic is minor

Just moved near here and I don't usually go to Dollar Generals. This place has better customer service than any store in the neighborhood. Love the convenience of late hours and getting in and out in no time. Never a line. My quick go to store! 😊

This place was totally different from the Nicholas sawmill rd store. The manager here doesn't have such bad breath and don't follow you around the store. They don't search you every time you go there because you go to much or wear there blue tooth on there ear like a helicopter pilot. I know I shouldn't expect great service, but on 8/24 it was abysmal. She was rude about something marked with the wrong price, she actually yelled at me to swipe my card, she left 6 six packs without bags in the cart when I was wrangling my two-year old, and she was utterly impatient.

If you are ever in Tomball (Houston) stop by this dollar general store in FM2920 ave, they have quite a variety of things and goods, not to mention the unparalleled customer service and assistance you seldom see in this country of ours... a true southern hospitality Jhon our attendant courteous amicable and helpful, this is one of the best experiences I had since summer started...

I have been to this store numerous times looking for the Gariner shampoo and conditioner that is on sale and all they can tell me is ( they haven't sent us any ) ! If you are going to have items on sale then you surely need to have the product ! I don't think they stop making this product ! AND you get weekly trucks so WHY have they not restocked ?? The Dollar General is not honoring their sale and this needs to be a corporate complaint !

Dollar General shelves with larger bags of outdoor cat food was totally empty. When I asked the young girl with labels she was attaching to the shelves if they had any anymore any where else. She says nope, that's it. I try to ask her maybe if they had any on other end caps like they usually do. She says nope again. I was surprised because they have roller shelves with all kinds of product at the ends of the isles. I found her to act as if she just could care less.

Love the staff that works here, they work tirelessly and diligently to service their customers while working long hard hours for not enough pay. On the other hand, the store is run poorly from a corporate standpoint.

The store has a great selection of items for all types of usages. Price point for there item's are very reasonable. The staff were very helpful in helping me locate what I was looking for.
