Best growler venue in DFW! Most of the employees are also beer brewers. You can come in and they will select best beer for your tastes. Also, you can get tastes before you buy on most offerings! Highly recommended for a great brew!

The Thirsty Growler offers cold brew on tap also for a different kind of buzz, as well as varied kombuchas for those underage visitors or DDs. Taps are served in flights or various-sized pours of your choice. Growlers of your fave brew (or ones you just didn’t get to try) can be purchased, filled fresh on the spot, and taken home to enjoy later too!Friend groups can often be seen meeting up for a game night around the table in this quaint joint that provides an agreeable atmosphere with an ambiance suitable for a casual business meeting, a first date, or catching up with an old friend…Pro-tip: Food service is extremely limited (as in pretzels, flatbread, and prepackaged snacks) but Abuelo’s is just two doors down for dine-in or takeout to bring with you! This area also offers many other food options just a hop, skip, and a jump in any direction to satiate any cravings your sipping may have induced, some of which include Boxo Hibachi, Down South, Saltgrass, and the latest new openings in Grandscape.

Lots of beer to choose from. I like the digital screens that give you a quick glance on all their beers on tap. No food, but you can get it delivered here from several surrounding restaurants. We ordered pizza from Heritage. Board games available.

Today we visited The Thirsty Growler located at 5733 State HWY 121 Suite 230. Did you know the have IPAs, Blondes, Brown Ales, Ciders, Kombuchas, Stouts and even non-alcoholic Root Beer!! Today we tried the Passion pearade! Free Wifi and you are encourage to bring your own food or you can have it deleivered! Great place to hang out with friends and watch games or listen to old records! Staff is super friendly. Reminds me of a place where everyone knows your name!

Great bar, the drinks, atmosphere, and service have always been top quality. Good place to take friends, catch a game, or just hang out after a long day. I come from Ft Worth to visit this bar occasionally, and it definitely is worth it. I highly recommend stopping by either with friends or by yourself after a long day at work.

This place is great. The digital signage to show the on-tap beers and all of the accompanying info is amazing. Complete with real time keg levels! The staff is very nice and laid back. The only drawback is no food. You can bring in your own, but after a few beers I wanted some fries or nachos.

I can not praise this establishment enough. They are some of the best, most accommodating people to work with. We hosted a wedding reception here and the management & staff went above and beyond to help us ensure it was successful. Not to mention that are some of the nicest people!!! The drink selection is beyond matched and every one who walks through the door feels welcome. This is the place to be!!

We just tried this place for the first time and loved it. Great beer selection, excellent recommendations from our server, and randomly met the owner who was incredibly friendly. We recently moved to the area and have been trying a lot of places. This will definitely be included in our regulation rotation.

I've been here twice, maybe three times and I always sat at the bar. It's a pretty small place but has ample seating with high top tables and booths.The bartenders are nice and provide fast service. I love the Lavender cider and this is pretty much the only place I can get it. Great for a chill time.The TVs at the bar are huge and the beer selection is wide; Nice for people who like to explore new beers like me. Definitely not a place for dinner though because the few food items they serve are more for snacking. Because of this, I always eat elsewhere first and then make my way here. I wish it was located closer to a better variety of restaurants or something since there's no other reason I would drive all the way out there.

This place is great!As far as food goes they have chips, peanuts and hot pretzels available for purchase. You are however allowed to bring your own food if you like.This place always has a great variety of constantly rotating beers, amazing staff, comfortable environment and power outlets with two USB ports at every booth.When I say the staff is great, I mean it!I can't think of one time I've ever been in there(and I've been there a lot) where anyone behind the bar was ever in less than a great mood. I don't mean they weren't in a bad mood and were just there. They were in a good mood and seem to really like working there. Happy staff makes happy customers and this place has that figured out to a T.They're also all beer drinkers so they're knowledgeable about what they're serving you. It's really nice to walk into a beer bar and be able to actually talk beer with your server, feel confident they know what they're talking about and be able to trust their recommendations as opposed to just ordering by number and the person pouring the beer not having a clue what they just put in your glass.All that combined with the comfortable, mature and welcoming atmosphere makes this one of my top three places to go for a pint.

Love this place! So hard to find sour beers and they usually have about 3 or 4 in tap, and they are all good!! They have an amazing variety of beer.If you want to try new beers, this might be a place for you. They have flights so you don't have to commit to just one. Really like coming here to just relax, I like the atmosphere and it's never super crowded (at least when I go)

Great atmosphere with close to 50 various brews on tap. The staff is knowledgeable and patient if you are having trouble deciding, they will even make recommendations off of your taste preferences. Prices are very good for the area as well. I even met the owner, very nice man and you can tell he is proud of his business and loves introducing craft brewing to the local community! It's bring your own food, so be aware of that. But there are plenty of good places to order from or bring in near by. Many more happy hours to be had here for sure!
