I was looking for spring items for the house. It's time to brighten up the place! They had Easter toys and candy. Big Lots also had plenty of backyard items for my garden. Of course, at checkout, there were plenty of toys no one needs but just have to get them because they're so cute!

I am from out of state and came here to look around for some swimming stuff. The store was nice and clean. Compared to my local big lots this store had lots of stuff. The staff was super nice to us. We kinda held them up because it was closing time but they were super nice. I would definitely come here again when we are visiting.

I give them a 4 Star review. Not because of the Store Cleanliness or Employees. Both of these are above average. Especially Erin. What I do not like is Big Lots order process. On 10/21/2022 I ordered a Love Seat style piece of furniture from them. I ordered it I thought because the Store did not have any in stock. At the time I put $100.00 down so they would hold my price. I was given no order confirmation. I assumed that like other big box stores there would be an order created and they would e-mail me this information. That assumption did not happen. I checked on my order a week after placing it and Erin, could not give me a date the order shipping, she could not give me an order number. She could not give me any information at all. In fact, she apologetically admitted there is no order created when you buy furniture at Big Lots. They just wait for their normal stock orders to be filled. No urgency because you paid or was paying for a piece they do not have in stock. This does not seem like a proper way to do business. I cannot think of another store either on-line or in store that does business this way. On top of that you are left up to your own resources to get the furniture delivered and set up. The person they suggested is too busy to bother so I had to find other people. You are at their mercy as to what they charge if you are old and handicapped as I am. I like the Love seat I picked out, and the price was in my budget. Just now on 10/29/2022 Erin called and informed of the delivery to the store of my furniture. This has not been the most pleasant of furniture transactions I have had in my life. I think Big Lots should be able to do better and for sure they ought to be able to do business as business is expected this day and time.

Little did I know that my innocent intention to browse for furniture would result in a heart-wrenching experience that would haunt me for weeks.As I perused the store, seeking the perfect addition to my home, Steven's negligence proved to be my undoing. In a moment of sheer carelessness, he bumped into a delicate piece of furniture, causing irreparable damage. The anguish I felt upon witnessing the devastation cannot be adequately expressed. It was a piece that held sentimental value, now forever marred by Steven's clumsy actions.Expecting prompt resolution and professional behavior, I approached Steven to address the issue and request a return. However, my pleas for recompense fell on deaf ears. Steven's dismissive attitude was nothing short of appalling. He vehemently denied any responsibility, even in the face of undeniable evidence. It seemed he was determined to shirk any accountability for his actions.To make matters worse, when I pressed for a return or exchange, Steven put up a formidable wall of resistance. He became obstinate, insisting that the store's return policy somehow exempted them from taking responsibility for the damage caused by their own employee. It was an infuriating display of indifference and a refusal to acknowledge their obligation to provide customer satisfaction.Throughout this harrowing encounter, Steven displayed a stunning lack of empathy and customer service. It was abundantly clear that his priorities lay in preserving his own convenience rather than rectifying the situation and ensuring customer satisfaction.In conclusion, my experience with Steven was nothing short of a nightmare. The damage he caused to my furniture, coupled with his unyielding refusal to acknowledge fault or facilitate a return, left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I caution anyone considering doing business with this establishment to be vigilant, as the lack of accountability and disregard for customer concerns displayed by Steven is indicative of a severe lack of professionalism and integrity.

I stopped in today to look at some patio furniture and when I checked out Cheryl at the register was absolutely amazing. Great customer service even though there is a Big Lots closer to my house this will be the one I come to.

One of the cleaner, more well stocked Big Lots stores in the area. I drive out of my way just to come here. Also, Erin and Cheryl always deliver high levels of customer service. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel like a valued customer. So grateful.

My favorite shopping experience. I always find fun stuff there. I get snacks there very reasonably and prices are best! I have previously bought furniture as well and name brand furniture impressive plus good quality.. Storage solutions awesome.The store is always clean.This is a store that is very efficient to manage and someone available tohelp.

Big Lots is undergoing store remodeling, but continues to be a great place to shop! The store has always been well maintained, and is still clean despite the merchandise reshuffling. They have Lots of items on clearance right now, like a solar LED rock spotlight marked down from $10 to $5. The store personnel are always helpful and quick to assist.

Clean and organized. The clerk was very courteous and friendly! We went in today and store has gone down hill a little bit. It was not clean or organzined and it seemed low on stock. They did have ponytail holders for a great price. The clerk was still friendly.

I do shop at Big Lots often and at several of their nearby stores since some items are more available at different stores. Tonight I found an item that is sometime in stock and sometimes not. Their Old World brand of sauerkraut is my favorite brand as I am picky about taste and spicing. I found it at The Colony store tonight... New label, but I opened new one and it has the same great but mild taste...

I love this Big Lots store in The Colony. The staff are genuinely nice everytime I come to shop. They remind me of how the neighborhood stores used to be. Caring and freindly to "all" who pass through their doors. Did I mention that the management runs like a well oiled machine.

They always have interesting in store stock.. My favorite sections is their garden and patio decor... And furniture selections.. Prices are very doable... Oh and the seasonal special occasion selections, they have lots choices and great prices. I just wish there was one closer to me. I think my town would benefit in having a local Biglots.

I have never been able to use my Customer Points Card because no matter how many times the cashier looks at my account on the register, they always tell me they dont know why I cant use my card. I've been issued 3 different cards and none have EVER worked. very aggravating.

Store is kind of empty. Not much of a variety at all. The one in Farmer's Branch is packed with stuff and has an amazing selection of home good items. This location is disappointing. Always very desolate feeling, not many customers, yet no inventory and poor selection of merchandise. Disappointing.

Big Lots is hit or miss. Don't buy food there unless they have something you can't get elsewhere. Otherwise, you will pay more than Walmart. For seasonal items like Christmas lights, Big Lots is a good choice. They all carry different items, so you can't always get the same item at another Big Lots. Join the rewards club. I think it's $5 off every 3 purchases.

I was told by staff in your Frisco store that I would receive 15% off if I shopped on my birthday. I made a special trip in on 11/22 to buy additional furniture that I liked but the 15% off was not honored however Casey at the store in The Colony did give me a great discount on a slightly damaged store model of one of the pieces I wanted but was not in stock.

Our search for furniture brought us to Big Lots, we are frequent shoppers too. We picked out the pieces that we want (couch and ottoman) but there is not a store that has both of them locally so we opted to have them delivered. Big Lots Credit Card offered 0% for 12 months, so we hopped on that deal and got approved. AND THEN we/you can't use the Credit Card for online purchases! Surely they can process this manually if I call in, NOPE. 3 calls, 1 email and nobody has any better solution than to use a different card.I'm only sorry to be leaving this review on our local Big Lots, it's more of a corporate issue that needs to be resolved immediately! This is a fail as a business!

I love Big Lots! Never know what I'm going to find there. They didn't have as much furniture in the Frisco store as I was used to in my Bedford store, but this was my first time there. The cashier, Christy, was super nice, polite & helpful. I'M,ll be back for more goodies soon.
