I love my Walgreens at Texas City, Texas. One time I was very sick. The employees were very concerned when they saw me in the store. They sent me a get well card to MY house! They said they were all praying for me and all the employees signed the card. It was the sweetest thing any store has ever done for me! I recovered after a few years. I always shop there. I will always be grateful for their kind gesture.

On Easter Sunday I bought a one touch glucose test meter . Got it home it would not work called one touch for help even bought a new battery to no avail. Well today I took it back to the store and got the run around how they wouldn’t do anything for me. Need ing a meter I bought another one $62 later and 2 trips I got a working meter. I will never step in another Walgreens again, buyer beware they are crooks and can’t be trusted

Don’t know what all the bad reviews are for. I called the pharmacy at 6:30pm to transfer a prescription because my usual pharmacy was out. Phone was picked up on the second ring and everything was sorted in less than 5 minutes. Great service!

I waited for 25 minutes to only have the pharmacy lady hang up on me+I called back did the automated system robot refill&it was done but then after I did that I decided to let the pharmacist know about her hanging up on me&she didn't even care... I was calling for medication that is important for me to have or else I could pass away if I do not have access to it,these people are incipid clowns not worthy of professions to deal with the public.

Came to this store for my passport photo. Not only is the lighting terrible but they did not take the picture within regulation there fore the post office denied my picture and I had to pay to get another taken. When I brought the picture back with the original folder that not only had a barcode but also the store name, date, time, my name, etc. Looked just like a receipt to me.... I was denied my refund because I didn't have the receipt from just a few hours prior. Because I never received one from the employee. They couldn't do their job correctly and I had to pay for it, twice.

Very poor customer services! I received a text message medicine was ready and drove over, I get here and there was one lady in line he asked me what I needed and I told him pick up and he said he was sorry I would have to come back at 2 they have to close for lunch, I told him it’s just one medicine and it’s just me and he said sorry they have to take their lunch and I would have to come back. Well I decided to call my doctor and get my medicine transferred to CVS!

Went to get my booster.Showed up for my appointment time 15 minutes early, handed the lady my vaccination card, and she told me to have a seat.Fast forward 40 minutes of waiting I had to ask if they were getting to me. Come to find out they never even took the vaccine out to cool down and had to wait another 10 for the shot to cool down.Could not recommend less.

Refuse to take calls and place you on hold for almost an hour then just puts the phone down while they talk to other people. Customer service in the pharmacy is terrible. They are rude and do not even ask to place you on hold they just do it. Going to change pharmacies after this order is done

We were sent by another Walgreens location because they said this Walgreens had our medicine in stock. When we got there the lady who was at the counter was rude immediately! She was very snappy and did not even try to help us. We asked if she could find another Walgreens that had our medicine in stock for my two year old who was in pain and she flat out said “NO.” Seriously?!Thank God another pharmacist stepped in and she was an angel! She called another location and was able to get our prescription ready.Unfortunately that other lady ruined our visit. And from reading other reviews it seems I’m definitely not the only one who she has treated horribly. Walgreens please find someone else to replace this rude team member. She is a horrible representation of your company!

Very unsatisfied with the service at this location in the pharmacy. The employees don't care to take your time into consideration. Every time I get a text that my prescription is ready I drive 20 min to this location, which is the closet to me, and every time they tell me it is not ready yet. This has happened more than I can count so their texting system may be messed up. I had an unpleasant experience with Ashley today when I tried to explain the situation she didn't even take what I was saying into consideration but only ignored me and even hung up on me. She should not work in customer service. Way better locations to use, but I guess I will drive 30 min to the next location from now on.

This used to be a great store. Polite and friendly. Employees always ready to help you get your medicine. However, my doctor asked me if I could change pharmacy. She called in to find out what the problem was because I still haven't received the medicine after several attempts. They were rude to her and they had no idea if and when I would be receiving the med. So I changed to another Walgreen's and have had no problems.

Went through the drive up pharmacy today. I had 2 separate prescriptions, for two separate people. I asked for the 9.00 dollar to be charged on this Visa held up the card to show her, and the other prescription to be put on my express card. she stated got it!, Then the young man took over and and billed them both to my card. They need to stay with the same customer all the way through the transaction.

We called this location to ask if they had a Fed ex print kiosk and the guy tried to hang up I think but accidentally left us on the line. We drove up there and the cashier said he was the only one there aside from the manager and he insisted that wasn't him but we could clearly see our number on their phone and he kept saying they didn't answer the phone. Super rude,manager rolled her eyes at us and just ignored our presence in an empty store. I never complain but this is absolutely ridiculous. I think we'll call corporate and see if they can do something about these employees.

I had ordered pictures online. My kids pictures on top of that. When I went to pick it up I thought it was already paid for, my mistake. Asked the lady to hold it for me so I could get my credit card, forgot that as well. Get back 15 mins later and my pictures OF MY KIDS were gone! The man came out and said "oh.. well it's gone.. oh well, we'll let you know if they turn up." WHAT!! I guess the lady never put them aside..SO MY KIDS PICTURES ARE FLOATING AROUND OUT THERE.. GREAT!

I’ve read all the negative reviews and don’t feel they’re deserved. This location is EXTREMELY busy, and the techs have always been helpful to me. The only time I’ve called and been on an extended hold is after Harvey. And, everyone has been kind. I think more people need to realize they aren’t the only people in the world needing their service. Last week, I chose to go inside because the drive through was really backed up. When I was being waited on, I learned that a lady in the drive through was refusing to move because her medication wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for about 15 mins. She even asked to speak to the manager. Show patience and kindness, and you’ll get it in return. If you work in any form of customer service, you should try it. It makes it hard when people (customers or employees) are rude, but I still smile and do the best I can, but believe me, sometimes it’s incredibly hard.

Called the pharmacy to confirm they have my medication in stock and was told they have it, but can’t fill my prescription. I asked why and they said if you are currently filling it at CVS you can’t switch to Walgreens. I explained that they were closer to my house and asked why they couldn’t fill it. They were unable to provide an explanation. I would be quite upset if I were the owner of this franchise. Not only are they losing business, but they weren’t even able to explain why they couldn’t fill the prescription! I have switched from Walgreens to CVS in the past after I moved to a different area and never had an issue, only with this Walgreens location in particular. Can definitely see why they have such terrible reviews. Save yourself the headache and drive the extra distance to fill your prescription!!!

Made an appointment for my covid booster shot. Went 30 mins early. Stood at the counter marked Covid Vaccine Check In for 18 minutes. No one spoke to me the whole time. Will never go to this pharmacy for anything ever again. Cvs takes walk-ins, it took me 5 minutes to be seen. Walgreens is the worst.

I would give this pharmacy 0 stars if I could. They tell you one thing, and then do another altogether. I have waited days for prescriptions that they told me would be ready in hours. They tell you that they will call when your prescription is ready, but the phone call never happens. I would be dead if I still had to wait on them to get my medication. Also, if you have to call them, good luck. You'll be on hold for over an hour.

I had my prescription refilled by my psychiatrist 5/24/22. But when I check my status on Walgreens I keep getting messages and being told that they haven't received anything when I can clearly see that 2 requests have been sent. Now I'm suffering from withdrawals. I don't know if there's a glitch but I feel horrible right now.

This store is fantastic! The staff were welcoming, professional, polite, attentive and extremely helpful. The store itself was clean and all the aisles were clean and orderly. I hadn't been in a Walgreens for a while and on this occasion, I found myself wondering why I hadn't visited this location sooner.Honestly, this was a five-star shopping experience so I absolutely had to leave a review to express my appreciation to the staff at this location. They deserve it.

Slow as Christmas. They text me my meds is ready, I go pick it up sometimes it’s not ready, and they take forever!! Cars are backed up. Get customers out of there. Why make people wait forever? How hard is it to scan the medication, stable the receipt, and go? I don’t get it!! Worst pharmacy around. They do have one lady there that works there she’s super fast and excellent!

Went there last night at 8:30 to buy a birthday card. I couldn't even get out of my car because there was a guy outside of the store with earbuds in, smoking a sweet and going up to everyone pulling in and asking for money. And this isnt the first time this has happened. Please get security at this store!!!

The worst customer service ever. I receive text messages letting me know my prescription is ready only to drive down there, wait in line to find out it won't be ready for a few more hours. This has happened on numerous occasions. Why I continue to do buisness here I have no idea. I tried the route of calling and confirming before driving down there and no exaggeration what so ever when I say I have held for 30-45 minutes SEVERAL times before getting someone to pick up the phone. Well today my son was seen at an urgent care facility. While we were checking out the nurse said I just finished faxing the prescription over to Walgreens. We wait a few hours, drive down there, endure the double drive through line only for the lady to tell us that they just received the fax and it won't be ready for a couple of hours. A couple of hours go by..drive down there, endure the double drive through line again only to hear her tell me that the medication is out of stock. This place is a joke. My husband made a complaint to corporate a couple of months ago. Obviously nothing has changed. Update...transferred all our meds to CVS about a year a go and wow why did we wait so long. CVS 5 stars all the way

Check that your dr prescription matches what this pharmacy gives you BEFORE YOU LEAVE. They messed up my kids prescription - gave me two weeks worth when the doctor wrote for a full month. When I asked if I could have the pharmacist name he attempted to dodge my question and kept going back and forth on how he should fix the situation - 1st said to bring back the bottle by 3pm before he leaves and he’d fix it. Then he said he’d have to contact the doctor office. Then when I called to ask what I needed to do - bring it or wait he was like “you have two weeks supply you have time”, which is true but I was trying to coordinate my lunch break to whether I needed to take the dang meds back to him to fix or not. Lousy customer service. Dr had to write a two week prescription to get it resolved.Also used the pharmacy window to pick up my pictures I printed/paid for through the Walgreens website - the lady in the pharmacy window was super rude to be bothered by my picture purchase/pickup but Walgreens offers this option and it helps single parents like me from getting my kids out during this coronavirus mess. Could tell she didn’t know how to handle the situation as she had to find someone who knew how to handle the register for this pickup- just wish she didn’t take that frustration out on me.

Pharmacy manager is absolutely horrible. I have been filling my prescriptions here for months. Than all of a sudden he decides they are refusing to fill my prescription because “ I have been going to the same doctor too many years” who is based IN TEXAS. Save yourself a lot of trouble a go to a different location.

Their phone wasn’t working and hung up on me 5 times. So when I finally got ahold of the front desk they knew about their phone issues so I had them write my number down so the pharmacy could contact me. They finally called me 4 hours later, the pharmacist was so rude to me and told me I had to call my original pharmacy to find out what the issue was in refilling my prescription but he wouldn’t tell me which Walgreens I needed to call. He got rude with me and hung up on me in mid sentence when I was confused on what I needed to call and ask about. Very unprofessional and terrible customer service. Will never use this Walgreens again.

Very busy after hours pharmacy with only one person to fill prescriptions, answer drive through and take care of front counter. Took over an hour to get a turn to pick up simple prescription that had already been faxed in. Multiple calls for help were made over loudspeaker and direct call to manager on duty, but no one ever came. Found store manager visiting with diff duty staff member and child at the front of the store on our way out. Too disgusted to say anything. Very disrespectful to customers and pharmacist.

I was told that my prescription would take 1.5 hours. I came back in 2 hours and they advised me they did not have my meds at that pharmacy or any other Walgreens in the area.I asked why they didn’t call and let me know instead of having me wait for nothing. Their reply was a dumb founded look and they did not think about it.Walgreens in Texas City use to be the best, but now ANYBODY can run the Texas City store.

This pharmacy is busy but I have never had a problem getting my prescriptions in a timely manner. Neither have I ever had a mistake in my meds or the instructions. The pharmacist as well as the clerks have always been kind.
