Manager at the bill pay booth is very rude. I reported her to the store manager and she just brushed it off. Those managers have attitude problems

Manager on duty doesn’t know are have any knowledge of grocery store. So can’t call her a manager . More of a body with a key. Food arama is in trouble if this what ya call a manager. Wow.

Great products, prices and customer service. Store is clean and well organized. They make fresh foods as well which is great to grab and go. Staff is always nice and very helpful. The produce is always fresh and looks good same for the meat department. I come here very often and they never disappoint

I shop there a lot because it's close to my house it's a pretty decent store pretty fair prices I like you you can get a pack of cigarettes Marlboro special for five something total comes out to 675 I like that they'll probably kick me off for talking about cigarettes but that's what it is

I've been out of town for a while. I've come back to a new look at the store. It looks good. I'm glad that they decided to keep the gentleman in the back that does the barbecue. Thank you

The renovation of the store is good, it looks clean and tidy, the cashiers are horrible, they always have an angry face, they don't say hello or say thank you, I've had more than 3 times with super rude young cashiers!! I stopped going for a long time because of the high costs, I started going again with the renewal but I will stop going because of the bad service of the cashiers!!!

MUST STOP FOR SELECT MEAT CUTS!To be honest from the outside the place looks - well like it looks... But, they truly do have weekly specials on select meat cuts that are awesome. Also, you'll find good deals on pantry items listed in circular... As a budget shopper, they remain a "must-stop" biweekly. The staff is polite as well- always a plus.

Love this store! I hated it when they closed the Dickinson location years ago. The Allen's family were a real asset to our little town. Prayerfully one day they will reopen a location in Dickinson.

Food King is a smaller grocery store unlike Kroger or HEB, but it's a great place to shop when you don't need a bunch of items. Their meat section normally has good cuts of meat at great prices.

Unhappy with the deli. Used to be able to get smoked chicken, freshly cooked boudan, fresh sandwiches. The selection sucks now. Making me miss food king.

Love shopping here. Friendly staff, decent prices, and they carry items Kroger and HEB doesn't. We were craving fresh turkey wings and fresh turkey necks...did Kroger or HEB have them..NOPE..but Food King did!! They are cooking and my kitchen smells amazing. Have a pot of rice ready for them and the gravy.

I love this place. It may be a bit dated and doesn't have everything that HEB has but that's OK. Friendly staff, good prices and never too busy. The BBQ in the back, while not out of this world is good and quite reasonably priced and the ladies back there are just awesome.

I love Food King. It's close by and it is easy to get in and out quickly. I hope they never close. Today I went for milk and cereal and was happy to find a few items on sale that I did not know I needed.

I buy meats there, A little further to drive, but wouldn't go anywhere else. The store's always clean, the associates are very nice. The other thing that really needs mentioning is the front end. The checkers, sackers are very professional, respectful, and helpful. I would have given the store 5 stars but it seems management needs to stand back, watch what they've taught, don't lose sight of being a mentor, and get back to what you taught your employees. There isn't one time that a manager acknowledged me or said hello. Not one time.

These people rush at early morning deli to produce low cost breakfasts for school kids that would otherwise not be able to get properly fed. They should be recognized and saluted for their community role! The cleanest, best produce in town and always a great place to shop.

The beef prices are good, overall, they compete with larger stores well. Employees are super friendly, and I’ve never been in a store where the items are faced so incredibly nice!

They don't have everything here, but for what they do have it is usually good quality at a good price.Only thing I'd say needs improvement is the chicken, it is very fatty. I'd probably go somewhere else for chicken. They also don't have high protein slimfast, but offer every other option.They have really good unique deli options though. We really enjoy the sausage with cheese, and $.50 crackers. Their selection of ready to bake cookies is great, along with their beer.

This store has really made great changes. It's clean, well stocked with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, and hard to find pantry items. Let's talk about the cooked food......YOU MUST TRY IT!!! I had the Swedish meatball plate that came with a baked potato and sweet peas. They also had one with broccoli and cheese. The perfect amount of gravy on potato and meatballs. It was plenty of food, and the price was cheaper than a restaurant!!!!! They have a variety of cooked food, so try it all!!!! This is going to be my go to, if I need to pick up lunch or supper on the run.

I love the old feel of this store. It takes me back everytime I go in it.Update: it's now foodarama and bought porkchops from them to make for the next day when I went to open them, the smell hit me. They had all their pork chops marked a dollar a lb. Now I know why, it wasn't a sale, someone didn't store them right and foodarama figured they'd unload them on the consumer at any cost so as not to lose money. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I never had this problem when it was food king.

A little more expensive than HEB for certain things but the meat is higher quality and reasonably priced. I only gave 2 stars because my debit card never works there. Not a problem I have anywhere else.

Been going to Food king for over 15yrs. The management has been the same for all this Time and for good reason. Food King is in a low income area and offers quality products for reasonable prices. The management keeps on top of any and all issues with customers and staff..

I've been buying from the Texas City location for year's. However I need to let people know how wonderful their inhouse bread is. Recently I was unable to get good hoagie and french bread from H.E B. So I went to my old stand by and there it was. NOT only fresh but better than anything I had bought before. Please pass this art down to the next baker. We are so happy. Thank you guy's

I love going to foodking. Seems almost like family Every one is very friendly and is always helping if needed. I love the fresh meat and the associate Sam is very knowledgeable of meat cuts and always helps if I need more meat cut or if I have questions. I like chorizo usually purchase the Garcia he told me about another chorizo fresh made OMG ITS THE BEST. Oh can't forget the Managers they are ALL VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL🙂🙌. GOOD LEADERS 👍. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING. GREAT STORE MY FAVORITE.
