Very small store. Although pretty clean it there isn't a lot of space between shelves. Mostly because of overstock boxes everywhere. I don't think that anyone in a wheelchair or scooter could maneuver very well in there. The employees are quite friendly and knowledgeable about products and placement.

I went to this store yesterday to buy snacks for my oldest daughter and I to make our lunches. I bought cheese crackers that my daughter had said tasted funny. When I got home I started giving my 1 year old daughter some of the cracker and noticed the discoloration of the cheese. The crackers had expired 4 months ago. I checked the other items I bought. The nature valley fruit and nut bars expired 2 months ago and the chips ahoy cookies were expired also. I had already eaten at least 7 cookies and last night i was throwing up in the toilet. My 1 year old is still breast feeding and I'm 3 months pregnant working full time. I cannot be getting poisoned from outdated food. I will be returning these items and never returning as a customer to Family Dollar. I'm disappointed because I regularly shopped there (at a different Texas City location). I will no longer be a customer of Family Dollar due to being poisoned from expired food! Don't put you or your family at risk either. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

The store was open during the hurricane Harvey incident and the workers that were there were very courteous and helped out many customers and they need a raise thank you
