They Have From Plumbing, Electrical, Automotive, Gardening, Bird's, Swimming Pool Chemicals,.The Best Paint Selection Plus Paint Supplies. Tools and The Big Green Egg, All The Nessecities To Go With It. Several Other Awesome Grills. Free Popcorn and Coffee. The Best Customer Service Through The Whole Store. All So Friendly And Helpful. Outside Decor, Windchimes, AC Filters, All Sizes and So Much More. Love Going To Ace.

Clean store, nice employees, free popcorn and the only problem was most of their items they sell are almost too expensive. (Cleaning supplies, cookware, Rowe Casa items). But I like to visit to see what they have new in their little garden center in the front of the store. Their hanging baskets are usually priced well. They usually carry a lot of items, other stores do not.

The staff was very helpful. We were in Home Depot and asked for some help finding some grommets and push nuts 🔩 for our awning. The man at Home Depot said that he didn’t know where they are. We immediately called Dot’s the young lady who answered the phone said that they had exactly what we needed. We drove over and everyone in the store was very friendly and helpful. We found everything we needed and the young lady helping us made sure we found everything that we needed. Thank you Dot’s Ace Hardware for going above and beyond. God bless you.

Was in a few weeks ago. It appeared you were out of the dog food we buy. Mary Grace went looking for us as you had just received a truck. It took her a while but she found it. Update: Not so much.Ordered online for curbside like I have for years. I called to announce my arrival. They said no curbside at this store. Then the Manager came into the parking lot and yelled no curbside! Heck she could've have brought my order. Like I am going in this store now. I called Corp Office to see if they still offer curbside. They said absolutely!

I love shopping here. They give off the small town vibe. You'll always be asked if you need help. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. If you need BBQ items, go no further. Very well managed. I've come here for years and they certainly hold up the 5 star rating over many years.

Every time I have came here to shop it had ALWAYS been a pleasant experience. Everyone is very helpful, very nice, and very accommodating especially with my physical limits if I need to purchase something heavy that I can not lift! They have always got it off the shelf for me, placed in my basket, taken it to the register for me to pay and brought it out to my car and loaded it up for me. These guys are simply the best hands down!!!!

Cost for simple products are over priced I assume to justify the staff size compared to store size. Staff include 1-2 checkers, 5-6 floor staff (3-4 of them normally are flattening out a chair and talking to each other). Yes they do ask if you are trying to find something but chances are what you want and what they have never happens at this location. Most common reply is come back later in the week and we should have it in stock, maybe.Additionally I have never had two cans of my paint match each other. Suggestion is if you need 2 you better buy 5.This store is not for serious house jobs. Don’t waste your time.

Kudos to Kristin at Ace for duplicating keys (with no problem) that Lowe's, Home Depot, and WalMart could not, and said a locksmith would have to do it. And charged half the price. Thank You!

I had to replace a broken bolt from my elliptical machine. The guy there was very helpful and finding perfectly sized replacement and a nut to fit it. It was very quick and he found exactly what I needed, and I got out of there for less than $3.

Staff goes the extra mile to help you find just what you need. Will come out to you car to help find the correct stuff. You can get discounts unrequested. They always have fresh popcorn in the machine. Nice perk.

As far as chain hardware stores go, this one has a more local look and feel to it. Staff is actually knowledgeable about what they sell, which is a massive shift from your usual big box hardware suppliers. Also offers free popcorn and peanuts while you shop, which is good for kids who become bored easily inside hardware stores, or for adults who become bored inside hardware stores. Help is not hard to come by and has a surprisingly good stock on high end grills. You'll pay slightly more compared to the giants like Lowe's or Home Depot, but it's worth it for the more manageable parking lot and not having to go on a scavenger hunt to find decent knowledge on product.

Being disabled, I truly appreciate the folks at Ace hardware on Richmond Road. Every time my walker needs new bolts, they offer me a chair and replace the bolts with great professionalism. Of course, while I'm sitting there, I usually purchase almost everything I see. Thanks guys!!!

This is really a great place to shop. They have things pertaining to barbecues and smokers that you don't find just everywhere. The staff is very very helpful so all in all the great experience.

Bought generator from them and was told by manager Adam I could return it if was not opened. Tried returning the item unopened and was denied by some other head manager. He was very rude and couldn’t tell me why he wouldn’t allow it except to say that I bought it during an ice storm and he could have sold it several times. Very unprofessional and completely against the return policy they imposed themselves.

Miss Dot.runs a right ship. The customer will get 110% service and satisfaction. The staff is kind and friendly and knowledgeable. They know where everything is at and take you to where the item is. Other stores just point and say, "Over there."The keys they make FIT, every time. They have a machine like a locksmith uses, not the big box store machine that gets worn and miscuts keys.Their prices are good. They carry Craftsman tools. They are close to home and only two stop lights away. No traffic hassles whether it's Saturday or a weekday our holiday.If you want to deal with nice people, people who know what they're talking about, NO upselling, no hassles....then DOTS ACE HARDWARE IN RICHMOND IS YOUR STORE.
